Recent feedback on Leavenworth Auto Sales in Leavenworth, KS is sharply mixed: 73/100. Many buyers praise fast approvals and personable staff (Autumn, Cale, Nick), late-hour help, quick in-and-out, and workable pricing. However, a sizable bloc reports cars failing weeks after purchase, disputed warranty coverage, billing add-ons, aggressive or confusing repo practices, and uneven professionalism. Inventory variety, yard organization, and parts-finding aren’t addressed in most reviews; wait times are usually short. Bottom line: great service for some, quality control and aftercare concerns for others.
So I was waiting until I have officially ended my issues with Leavenworth before I left a review and today is that day. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!!!
I got a 2008 Toyota Camry and from day 1 leaving the lot I started having issues. The car had issues starting after being filed at the pump and we found out there was an issue with the possible fuel injection and every-time I put gas in the car I’d have to feather the gas pedal in order to get it to start. The car had issues going up hill and took a long time to get up to speed come to find out it also needed need spark plugs, all around breaks, hadn’t had an oil change ini don’t know how long so had to get that the very next week after leaving the lot and lot more needed to be done. They ended up taking the car back due to “lack of payment” and I was told that I would get a call back once they got the car. Keep in mind I was moving at this time and had a lot of my items in the car when they repossessed the car. I called the repo company and they informed me that they had already delivered the car to Jennifer at Leavenworth Auto and they no longer had possession of the vehicle. For a week I called trying to find it so I could get my items back. I got a lot of attitude from the staff at Leavenworth Auto for just trying to get my items back I no longer wanted the car just my items inside. It took me calling the police station and having them speak to the repo company and getting the delivery address ( that was a house 5 mins away from Leavenworth Autos office) and me calling Leavenworth Auto to inform them that I had the address of where the car was taken, how far it was from them and that I had spoken to the police for them to set up a date for me to get my belongings. I was told the address was there “over flow lot” and that’s why they didn’t know where the car was for an entire week.
The day I went to get my belongings I tried to get my tags off the car but they didn’t have a tool for me to get the front ones off and I was told that they would mails it to me or call me when they were able to get it off the car so I could come get it. I never heard from them again. I called them to see where it was if they sent it out or what was going on and I was told they don’t mail out the tags and they didn’t know what happened to my tags but they didn’t believe they still had them they just know they no longer had the vehicle. So now I have to go through the DMV and file a claim due to the possibility of theft!!!!!!
They have cheap cars yes, they can get you in a car same day yes but it is not worth the stress and hassle for the bs cars they have!! Save yourself the energy and money and go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!

cars are horrible , the staff is money hungry because they aren’t selling cars and love coming after people because a payment is a few days late. Terrible service. Car is not even worth the trouble as I have already had to replace the alternator and battery and yet car still dies and we haven’t even had it for a year yet! They say they’ll work with you but every time you call it’s on a NOW basis. Do not buy cars from them!
The guy we originally was working with was a sweet heart. They need to bring him back and get rid of the two girls they have!

Let me start saying I just paid off my car December 06 2024 and another payment showed up, I went to the office to speak to them and to find out that this payment is a collateral protection($42.00), the lady upfront wants me to pay it twice+interest if I wait till December 30 total of ($65.00), I asked if I pay this 42 dollars right now, because it will apply 1 dollar a day, she said I have no option, I have to pay the full 65.00 dollars. This issue of applying the collateral protection more than 1 time on my payments been happening for over a year, one of the ladies been fixing this issue for me and now that my car is paid off they want to milk till the last penny, no to mention when I was talking to this lady upfront she gets up and walked out while I was trying to talk this issue, RUDE. I never had a problem before and I’m still waiting for someone to contact me back about this and fix this issue! DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THEM they only sell lemon.
I would caution buying from them. I’m upset because I bought a vehicle and not a month later it breaks down, with fuel leaking from the fuel rail. I was also told fuel rails are a non lubricated part and not covered under their “warranty” so be VERY careful when they tell you how great the truck is and how it’s dependable. Disappointed with the product that didn’t even last the warranty and then the warranty magically doesn’t cover it.
Ladies inside were sweet and reassured me they use the truck EVERYDAY for errands and it was checked before being put on the lot. Also was owed some repairs unrelated and they said they’d call me back when they could get me in and I still haven’t heard from them. Only communication is the texts for their money but other than that they aren’t worried what happens when the car rolls off long as you pay on time.
Update 400 dollars of repairs later I’m back on the road. Let’s see how long it lasts. Thanks A One.
They seemed sweet enough at first sounded like they were truly trying to help but it just turns out that what’s pretty on the outside is a lot uglier on the inside. They sell junky cars that break down not long after getting it and expect you to cover the cost of a whole new motor. They will screw you over when you’re down and not even care if you have stuff in the car when they decide to take it back. Aren’t willing to work with people who have made on time payments continuously and are incredibly rude when money for them isn’t involved.
This place sucks, they said.I was approved with $500 cash and a trade in then.I sold my good car so that way.I could come up with the cash and then when I go in there.They denied me.So now i'm screwed out of a car and i'm a doordash driver
Highly recommend this place. Leavenworth auto sales... Miss Autumn was amazing and knew exactly how to make it happen. I've been waiting for somlong for a car. Finally got one. Thank you for everything. On the road again... Thank you Leavenworth auto sales and miss Autumn.
Listen the girl there at this place are awesome. I love Autumn she is a whole vibe and very hands on and ready for any questions you may have. She is a very helpful and her personality is as big as her smile love her and she is very hands on and professional when it matters. Thank you for all your help and making me feel a lot more at ease by answering any questions I may of had about a vehicle there..........
Leavenworth auto sales illegally repossessed my car . I tried to contact them and then they block me on Facebook . They are shady has helll !! Somebody took the car out of my drive way . Have video of it on my ring doorbell . Reached out on messenger . Asked if they took it . Then they blocked me . This is so illegal
This place is a joke. Three out of the four cars that we got from here has been in the shop within four months of getting the vehicle. One top Of that if you’re in an accident and you weren’t the one that caused it and the insurance company pays the car lot they still try to get you to pay the full amount back. Totally bad experience
literally the worst car dealership i’ve ever dealt with, very unprofessional, lying to my face, and then never gave me a place to go get my stuff when one of the cars they gave me broke down not even 30 days after i got it. they don’t inspect the cars at all, they take whatever and put it right onto the lot without doing certain checklists. just horrible experience. i recommend not going there
Cale stayed 2 hours late to help us get a working car after we got screwed out of $2000 from Mr.Rayz. I really appreciate Cale staying late and sacrificing family time to help us out after I got off work. I will always recommend Leavenworth Auto Sales and will keep coming back for any cars we look for in the future. Chapman Agency is fantastic as well we appreciate him for staying late to help us get insurance on the car. THANK YOU SO MUCH CALE AND CHAPMAN AGENCY!!!!!
Best place hands down! Anyone looking to finance a car or buy it straight out they won't disappoint you! Very much appreciated with the business and the honesty. I recommend them to anyone. ☺️ 10/10 forsure.
Was a really good experience. The dealer even stayed later to get us into a car that night. Greatly recommend buying a car from them. Great manners and an awesome personality. Helped my family allot with finding a good running truck for transportation.

I went to Leavenworth Auto for the very first time and I have to say that I am more than satisfactory with results on how it ended I was not expecting to be in a car so quick but the staff was so nice and very compassionate and I was able to get into a car within an hour. Even though my credit wasn't all that great with just a thousand down I was able to get in a moderately new car and have great payments love these people and I hope to continue to see more of them and if you have not been there please do because they are awesome people they are wonderful people and that's worth it
Cale was very friendly and fast. He explained every detail I needed to know and everything I asked about. He also took the time to make sure he could do everything he could to help me and make my car buying affordable. He didn't try to finaggle me or pressure me at all, it was very comfortable and easy making a deal with him!
