Ordered a steering column for my 1978 F700 dump truck. They had one for a F600 and when I called, they checked for me that it was the same. Very friendly and professional. I have ordered used auto parts before from other places and these guys sell quality parts, good prices and great packaging.
Any bady go this company or this shop you just throwing your money and more propblem for your truck never fexid just Hungary money never do nothing. Please if you when only thrown your money go this. They are liyer and take money for nothing. The keep my truck for a weeks and the change the hood and bumper and also Spader break and break aluments the charge me $9.671.00 can bellved don't go this shop anles you when play with money

Bought $4400 transmission with 3 yr warranty and they told me parts and labor was included but wasn't transmission went out 3 weeks after install and it was a nightmare to get it warrantied which was done another 3 weeks later highly recommend to use someone else!
We went to have the alignment done on our truck, they told us $250, we paid $270, we asked them to unlock the speed from 68 to 72, they didn't know how to do it, but they charged us $45, we had a code that only needed to be restarted, for that they charged us $414.65, but they didn't fix or do any of it, so I asked why they were charging me that much, they told me that was because we were trying. They asked us to work for a few more hours to do the diagnostics, which of course I refused to do because they said it would be charged at $180 per hour and that they didn't know what it was, they wanted to find out what it was for. I am very disappointed and angry that I even went to this service. We paid $779 for all this and they didn't fix anything, not even the alignment was done properly, now I have to ask another service to do it for me again.
Running a business is challenging, and we typically avoid expressing negative feedback. However, after being loyal customers of Vander Haag for nearly a decade, we were treated extremely poorly. They held our truck for three weeks, resulting in the loss of both the driver and the line. Additionally, they miscalculated parts prices and charged us almost $6k for diagnostics, which we never received. As a result, we had no choice but to tow our truck to Kenworth after three weeks of no progress and pay 5300. We will never return to this place. It has changed.
Vanderhaggs is a great place for parts new & used their customer is great have purchased many parts from them over the years they ship directly and always keep you informed of the process just recently purchased some used parts they sent me photos of the parts after they removed them to show me their condition I always check out Vanderhaggs first when I need parts especially when restoring an old truck they were and still are very helpful give them a try if you haven’t already!
Great product and a massive selection of parts. Perfect replacement that was EXACTLY as pictured and described. Saved me lots of money as I got a resistor pack and didn't have to buy a complete motor assembly through the tractor dealer. Perfect communication by email from the company representative and on a weekend as well. Very pleased.
Best customer service I've experienced in a long time. They got to me in less than 24 hours. Did diagnostic and flow test on our RVs engin confirming all was well. Technician was wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone that I worked with was fantastic.

Decent prices on aftermarket parts but they won't stand behind their parts that are faulty !! Don't believe I will go back to do much business with them and it's all over less than $500
We dealt with Tim and he went above and beyond taking care of us and got our parts shipped out quickly. Shipping did a horrible job the cylinder came busted out of the box and it looked like it had been mishandled but either way it was a used part. Got us going again. I will be calling them in the future if we have need of any other parts.
Amazing experience. I saw a grille guard online. Called Tim to place the order. The guard was in Iowa. Cost only $50 to send it to Ohio. I was called to pick it up. Grille guard was in really good condition. The entire transaction was smooth. This was the second grille guard I ordered this way. I will be doing more business with this great, friendly company. worst experience. They installed the wrong motor into a Peterbuilt of mine. Installed a 450hp motor in a heavy haul truck!!! Makes sense right!?!?!? Very poor customer service and I after 2 months still have a truck I cant drive. Stay away from here!!!!

First time here. Greeted upon entering sales area, told the I was here to pick up a yard truck for a customer. After looking at my step deck trailer with ramps a tech came out with a loader to lift up the back of the truck while pushing it on because if the angle between the deck & ramps as to not damage the yard truck. Greatly appreciated all their teamwork & effort to get me loaded. A BIG thanks
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I bought a turbo for my semi. My mechanic put it in. He said he couldn’t even keep the truck running. So I called vander haag they told me to send it back. What they did not tell me before I bought it about there inspection policy. They told me that it would be 60 to 90 days before I get my money back. Like other ppl said beware. Before buying from this place. Oooh and I called a number of times with very little answers
Buyers be ware. The parts I selected from the site were not the parts that I was shown when I went to pick up. They tried to sell me total junk and said that it was probably a old picture. Scam artists. If you buy here don’t pay until you see the parts you ordered and check them out or you could be getting total junk and wasting 1 to 2 weeks of your time. I will never use this company again for any of my trucks.
Awful and wasted 2 weeks of my time, costing me money and never even got refund for my wire transfer fee. They take your money quick though, but returning it takes time... Buyer Beware, company has a process where they sell engines before they are even taken off the truck and properly inspected but they will give you unrealistic timeline that they won't be able to fulfill. In trucking industry times is money, we have lost thousands of dollars waiting on the engine which in the end we never got because none of the two engines passed inspection. Those engines btw are still posted on sale on the marketplace websites, so that doesn't make sense to sell something that you don't have and ask people to pay for it.
Getting hold of someone can be also very challenging
They don’t care about customers and if you need a refund they make you wait forever to get your money back. It’s been over a week and still no check in the mail. I payed cash when getting the parts and when I returned them because they where the wrong parts. They told me that I’d have to wait to get my money back because they don’t have that much cash and I’d have to wait for the main office to send me a check… really for $1000 you can’t give me my money back same day or even the next day… stay away for these scam artists. They will just lie to you face.. no stars
I called looking for a body control module and Tim found one right away. I then asked if it was possible to get it shipped overnight. It was 4:30pm and he made it happen!

They were great with working with me to get my fuel tank from Des Moines to Columbus to make shorter drive to pick up so I didn't have to pay for shipping which was more than the tank to have delivered to NY. So I drove to their Columbus location to save me the money. Their staff seemed pretty knowledgeable and professional yet could get down on a personal basis. They helped me load it even.. They saved me a couple hundred bucks I appreciate greatly! Will def be back!
I was looking for an A/C hose for a client and it was not available in Canada. Found Vander Haag's online. I have received an amazing service by Mat Donald. He was in touch with me all 3 days that my client was deciding to order through me or not. All my calls were returned in a few hours max. I had the part in 5 days (across the border), perfectly packed. It is becoming a fact that what was considered a good customer service in the past, today is becoming an extra ordinary customer service because of incompetence of the employees of many other companies. Vander Haag's is one of companies that has competent personnel and works hard to keep the high standard of customer service.
Good place to work with. Workmanship was very good when they extended the frame on my Chevy 5500. They did gouge my front bumper but made it right and swapped it out for a new one when I brought it to their attention.
