Most of the staff is...ok to deal with but one guy is a complete arrogant jerk every time I have to deal with him, loves to bark, demean, etc. must be quite a miserable person. I do not know why he still works there, must be family or something? I got to looking for other places as soon as I left and I won't be back, best and easiest solution to bad service ? I hate to post something like this but I had one of my kids with me and simply a ridiculous situation that should have never happened the way it did. One of the higher ups said he would handle it but how do I know that anything significant was done?

Best people want go anywhere else they are very nice people always let me leave my trailer there and they pay the best!!!!!!!

Fair and solid company that has consistently been a staple of the community. Solid prices too.

So, first time using this place and I brought in a close to 2,000 lb load of stainless steel and mild steel. I walk in and see a bunch of signs everywhere saying no guns allowed on the ptoperty which should give you an idea of the owners. I drop the load off and get my ticket. The lady behind the darkened glass which no one can see though, much less talk throughgets frustrated when I dont inderstand what the hell she was yelling at me through the tiny slit. After I leave I glance at my ticket and check only to realize I just got screwed, they wrote up my Stainless steel and mild steel load as roofing tin, which pays signifigantly less than stainless and midl steel. By the time I realized the issue, they were closed. Definately am NOT going back to this place again.

The whole staff is phenomenal. Great people to do business with. Highly recommend if you want a smooth transaction.

Went in a couple of days ago with a friend to scrap a bunch of steel,cast aluminum and pure copper wire (non corroded type#1) either they were trying to scam me for my copper or they need to clean the files they use because I showed them how my copper wire was copper and yet they still refused and insisted it was aluminum wire which I know for a fact it wasnt Everytime they use the files on the copper it transfers aluminum bc they scrub radiators with the same file either it's a shitty scrap yard trying to short change you for your money or it's the employees tryna run a fast one so they can ring it up as copper and pay the difference for the aluminum when I told them I would just take my copper home and look through it again to be sure they got incredibly upset caught a attitude and became disrespectful to not only me but my friend who was just driving the truck beware of these scam artists

( In a carnival barker voice) Come one come all! I promise you my friends this is the only place you’ll find the biggest collection of the grumpiest faces on this side of the Mississippi! A bunch of religious quotes everywhere, but I guess they skipped over that part about being kind to others. A maze of sharp objects, poor signage, and unhappy people. I’d go somewhere else if you have an option I know I will in the future.

I've been selling scrap copper wire and batteries for decades. This has to be the cleanest scrap yard I've ever been to! I didn't feel like I was going to risk a flat tire by pulling onto there lot. Fair prices. Good people! ??

First time trading here. The place is very clean and seems to run well but not sure if the guys know the difference between different copper wire. Traded cat5/cat6 cabling and 18/2 control wire. By definition is #2 insulated, ( #2 grade insulated copper consists of unalloyed wire – thinner than 16 gauge – which includes heavy, double or plastic insulation. The grade generally covers many common types of telecommunications wiring as well as electronics such as outlet and extension cords.) They call it #3. That's a $.20 a pound difference. they either dont know, or knowingly cheated me. Won't be back

$67 for 640 lb of scrap tin. April 8th 2022 $12 for two car batteries.

They have a pretty nice yard not a lot of stuff laying around to puncher tires and the customer service is decent.I've noticed a considerable difference in the price they pay compared to other recyclers in the area. Very low!

I know how annoying it is to be busy at work and have someone asking you a bunch of questions so I try to keep them to a minimum but nonetheless I still have a lot of questions when I go there and they help me out sharing their knowledge of metals and scrapping very helpful when I come in help me get the most from my money

I've never had any issues with this recycling center and the employee's that I've met there are all helpful and friendly!?

Did not pay me the right amount of weight for yellow brass.and I took 1 set of Christmas lights in and got paid for 13 lbs. Like no way. But I did have alot of Brass and should have got pd fair

well you guys forgot to place the brass on my ticket and my stainless as well so your up about ten bucks and i am cut short of it! check your tickets scrapers!!!!!!!

Not a bad experience, the guy at the scales was somewhat friendly and and I was in and out quickly. Thier payout is a little on the low side. Girl at the pay counter had kind of an unfriendly tone in her voice.

The girl on the phone said they won't give prices out over the phone, and they don't take Alarm batteries, but they do take Car batteries and lawn mower batteries. LOL, WOW Oconee across the street will take them today for .25 cents a pound. I have a truck load of batteries. Looks like they missed out on a good opportunity.
