I went up there the other day and before I did I called and asked how much regular steel metal was going for per 100lb they said $8.00 so I bought my metal up there she told me that my weight was 2,300 lb of steel which I really don't believe that was the correct weight because there's no way it weighed an even $2,300 lb because they don't show your your weight at all except on the receipt which is not like most scrap yards so there wasn't anything I could do to make sure that's what it weighed but after I left I happen to look at the receipt and she charged me $7.25 per hundred pounds not the $8 that she told me at the beginning I'm sure they do this all the time and the letters are so small on the receipt you can't hardly read it so just be aware they are definitely screwing people over everyday and when I went back up there to tell her what happened she said technically they're not reliable I was supposed to check my receipt before I left but she'll do it for me this one time and fix it well she still charged me another dollar processing fee.
So my opinion I would never do business with this company again post
I have been to several scrap yards to get rid of excess material I accumulate. I don't sell scrap for money, I get rid of junk and I am glad I don't have to pay for the service. Metal prices can be like gasoline, if you don't follow the market you might be surprised good or bad. This place is my favorite because it's not busy and they sell the ATVs and go-karts for like 50 bucks. The weight and money don't matter to me but it seems like they are fair if not a little better than most because I find myself shocked every time I collect the check after dropoff and it's way more than I had expected. People need to understand that scrap metal recycling is a service that has a return instead of a bill like the dump. Nowhere in the state will buy a cat for anything over scrap price if you are not registered certified garage which is awesome or there would be 50x the thefts like California. I don't feel like they deserved any of the bad reviews I read while looking to see what time they close. It sucks when a business operates as it should in an industry where there is little opportunity to go above and beyond promoting most to write a good review but the second someone doesn't understand scrap yards make the money because of the risks involved with constantly fluctuating markets, and you get to dump your junk somewhere without a bill or a ticket and they toss you a little scratch back. Unfortunately the inhouse scales aren't accurate at all went in today to scrap 38 pounds of copper and 22 pounds of leadand the scale only registered 15 pounds of lead and 29 pounds of copper weighed both of them with two separate scales one not being my own and both came up 38 and 22 so today I was sorta short struck so I just took the money bc I needed gas anyway but still pretty disappointed today
BEWARE!!! They took advantage of my son and then offered to return my items AT THEIR RESALE PRIC!E!! WAIT, WHAT?!! HE WAS STILL RIGHT THERE!!! THEY PROFITTED JUST FOR WEIGHING MY MERCHANDISE!!!!
When I called to complain, the dame lied and said she'd call me the next business day but, of course she never did!

Love this family owned and operated business. Their customer service is EXCELLENT! I DEFINITELY recommend this business to everyone in need of a recycling place. You wont be disappointed
I called to ask what the price was for scrap metal and they told me the price and told me to have a good day and hung up before I could ask the hours of operation and directions. I’m sure I will not be taking to them.
Can't see the weight! They literally hide the scale. ? they cheat you and don't charge properly. 30 cents for spaghetti wire because they make up their own rules. SA in Norcross pay $1.65 per pound for the very same thing! Rip off capital!
This place say they only pay $5 for Cadilac converter‘s. Don’t waste your time with these people it’s much better places to go that want try to take advantage of you.
Been going here for 3-4 years it is absolutely the ONLY scrap yard around that I will take anything to. Fast friendly service! They aren't too busy to explain, nor do you have to wait long. They even remember me by name!!! 5 stars for excellent service!
