I would give them a negative star or 2 if I could. I broke down on Christmas eve in a walmart parking lot, I have roadside assistance thru my phone company, these guys were the company they called and that accepted the tow. they said it would be an hour, ok not ideal but whatever. after 2 hours we called roadside again and we were told that the company canceled the tow when they called to see why they were so late. apparently they were at a christmas party instead of doing the job that they accepted the money to do.
I have never had a towing company give the service tim did. I was traveling thru Georgia and broke down. Tim not only towed my rv, but also completed a replacement of two fuel filter. This was done on the side of the road in the dark. I will be keeping this company card in a safe place.
These guys are awesome! My son had a flat tire on the highway, in the dark on a Friday night, and K-2 was there roadside within 30 minutes to take care of him. Communication from both dispatch and field tech was prompt and professional. I can't recommend this company enough! Also very reasonably priced.
The lady who owns this company is simply incredible and gracious to deal with, and actually gave a damn about my little 21 year old Honda that wasn't the easiest tow ever. She answered the phone!! unlike 5 other companies I called, she was also the cheapest!! She is my go to for the Covington area now for sure. Sorry I didn't catch you name but your 21 years doing this shows. Thank you again!!
If you want to be told you will be picked-up promptly only to have your call bumped indefinitely use K-2 towing. If you want immediate pick-up with cheaper pricing use Chancey’s Towing. They came when said. This is an honest review and my experience.
I recently found myself stuck in the mud, like really stuck, on a Friday night. K2 was to my location in less than an hour. Jordan tried his best to get my Expedition out but was unable to thanks to the lovely Georgia red clay. He phoned a friend and got Joe to come out and assist with pulling it out. With their help they were able to get my vehicle unstuck. I truly appreciate both of these guys hard work and professionalism during the whole ordeal.
Very Unprofessional!!! No customer service whatsoever. I was facing an emergency situation and they told me they could care less. These type of places need to be warned about and closed down permanently.
You might want to check spelling and grammar on your website. You have some words spelled wrong and it’s too not to. Wrong tense of the word. Just looks sloppy and unprofessional.
Last Wednesday, September 4th, I needed a tow truck to get my husband's car out of the Publix parking lot here in Covington. I spent over three hours on the phone, attempting to communicate my needs to AAA. However, I encountered incompetent representatives, which further escalated my anger and desperation. So I thought about looking for a local towing service provider. To my good luck, I got a response from a person named Nancy, who, with a few questions, gave me an estimate of what the towing service would cost. The cost was very good, so I paid, and in less than 15 minutes the tow truck was there. Martin, the person in charge, is an expert in what he does. It took him 4 minutes to place the car on top of the tow truck. He really deserves my recognition. He's a kind and professional person who made my day! I highly recommend K-2 Towing; when I needed them the most, they were there, and their service was excellent!
Drivers constantly speeding up and down the road that the business is located on. There is a ball park on the same road, the company’s drivers apparently don’t care. There’s too many kids playing baseball at this location, they need to slow down before they hit a person and get their self sued. There’s no reason to drive like that knowing people are in the area!!!
Good pricing but not for vehicles low to the ground. Driver made me drive my vehicle off the ramp so he didn't have to take responsibility for scraping the bumper. I was in a bind and didn't have time to argue. Figured all towing companies carries blocks for loading and unloading today's cars. My car is stock height but still scraped while unloading.
The worst tow company in Georgia. They are not affiliated with no insurance companies. The staff is unprofessional and they will leave your car on your lawn.
Hit a deer last night on my way home from work, had to leave my car at the store and get it towed this morning, looked up the closest tow company and it was K-2, called they came right out and picked my car up and brought it home.. The prices is very reasonable and the driver I had his name is Charles and he was very nice! A few years ago wrecked a truck in the same spot and had it towed they charged me double what they charged so if you ever need a tow I definitely recommend you give K-2 a call.
I got a flat tire on the highway and was able to make it to the exit ramp. I called all the tow truck companies in town including K2 and they said the wait was over an hour. As i continued to make phone calls, K2 called me back to let me know they had a cancelation and was able to get to me super quick in order to get me to the tire repair place before they closed. The gentleman that came to save the day was very kind. I am extremely greatful. Thank you!
Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. My brother’s transmission went out on him a mile from his house & he called K-2 for assistance. They explained it would mess his car up if the transmission was locked up… OBVIOUSLY. A business with this amount of “clientele” should have the knowledge & experience to know that they would clearly tow the vehicle from the end not locked up or unlock the drive shaft. Instead of explaining this when my brother offered these options, he was laughed at and hung up on. I called today to ask about our experience & was questioned & treated like “I didn’t have the right business”. She asked me “who he spoke to” and when I couldn’t tell her, she said “Oh, so you don’t even know if it was us?!” At which point I reminded her that she answered her dispatch without giving her name as well! Rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. Unless you’re a mechanic (single moms break down all the time & elderly women) & can answer all your vehicle questions yourself I wouldn’t call this business! To say we were treated poorly is an understatement! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!
Needed a tow ASAP, called Several places, with no availability. K2 Towing answered, came through and picked up our vehicle, dropped it off at the dealership in less than 45 min. Payed a liittle more than what I normally pay, but it was all worth it. The guy was quick, fast, friendly, and knew how to handle his truck in such a tight spot. Been driving a long time. We appreciated the expedited service so much.
