Very productive, as I did not only receive cash for scrap metal, but I was served by pleasant and helpful staff from weight scale, to crane operator, and cashier. It is such a joy to encounter persons who value customers and patiently help.
It's a shame that I wasted my time and energy going there. Because I was turned down because you must be in a vehicle. That's so damn bias 🤨 There are more people driving to pick up scrap metal and objects from peoples property without the owners permission.
Horrible experience. Horrible staff. Very sorry excuse of workers. Needs to be restaffed badly. Will never step foot in that place again and will never recommend anyone to go there. Follow your gut and all the bad reviews and stay away!!!
I'm a business owner Leak stop LLC went to this location to sell brass and copper refinery and copper #1 and was turned away because I had sprinkler heads fire sprinkler heads often changed out periodically with fire inspections saying I need a letter to sell items from who I don't know. But from a business partner whom does fire protection every day. This is so disrespectful of a employees character to make harsh judgement issues and try me as a thief saying I don't own the materials I'm trying to sell. Future I will take my metals somewhere else they lost a long time customer with me and my metals and I'm in the plumbing trade. Owner of leak stop LLC
Chelsea wanted to buy my 35% copper insulated wire as steel because copper core SDI wire was mixed in claiming it to be coax when it’s not. Management at this location has gone down hill. Avoid being ripped off fellow scrapers
This business is horrible just went to a scrap yard at $7.50 per 100 lb and come here on this side of town and $3.70 every 100 lb.if I were not on the clock I'd make you load my scrap back up
Closed at 3:35 while me and my partner were sitting in the parking lot with full trailer, really just a huge inconvenience and costed me a lot of time which in turn put my job in jeopardy.
Failed to post early closing time for Thursday! I arrived at 1120am after driving from Micanopy FL. Then told the were closed. Waste of my time and fuel neither are cheap!
OMG I would fire everyone of the 2 people that work in your scrap yard. The female employee is just rude and what an attitude!!!!!!! YOUR EMPLOYEES CERTIANLY LOSE YOU MONEY!!!!!!!

I would not recommend anybody come to this place I gave them 28 lb of aluminum clean aluminum and because it had three bolts in it they marked it as dirty I worked at a scrap yard in South Florida these people have no compassion and don't care about anything but money their customers mean nothing I would avoid doing business with them
It was our first time visiting and clerk and one other guy was very disrespectful 2 employees were friendly one at the weigh-in station and a young lady working in the yard the one guy kept telling me and my wife that they close in 15 minutes so hurry up and then started yell at me to move faster. He also kept giving mixed directions and when I didn't understand he kept asking "what you doing" with an attitude. Telling me that he's stuck there for 6 days a week... Buddy if you hate your job GET A DIFFERENT ON. No real directions as to what to do or where to go. They just assume everyone is a regular. Terrible customer service.
Can't be bothered to correct the closing time on their Google account so will waste your time driving access town even though you showed up before their "actual" closing time

This is one of the best and we'll kept metal scrap yards I've ever used Billy is in my opinion one if not the best employee there as well most of the other employees are great as well thanks guys see you soon $$$$
Very bad place they have given me the worst service, I speak to ask for information and after I get to the place they do not attend to me because I did not have a car that they could not attend to me so I have walked an hour and that they could not tell me when I called, not to waste time they don't deserve a star😡🤬
Steer clear! This place is in violation of multiple state laws. They lie to customers regarding prices and grades, and knowingly use miss calibrated scales to further the scams. Report them to FDACS, before calling their corporate headquarters after the scam you.
Worst experience at a scrapyard ever Andrea in the front office was very difficult to deal with and denied me to scrap some metal until I called corporate and they assured me they would take my Scrap I let Andrea know I would be calling corporate about my experience and she proceeded to tell me “go ahead.” even after the mess was figured out I went to apologize to her and she was still very rude and nasty The lead guy Billy in the back smoothed everything over and was very nice and professional he would be a much better face upfront Then the person they have as the face of their business in Gainesville now And I will not be going back personally I would suggest going somewhere else but if you have to go there just be prepared for Andrea’s nasty attitude and so you know CMC metal around the corner is open 15 minutes longer haven’t been there yet but next time I need to scrub I will definitely go there to try and have a better experience to be treated like a customer.
They absolutely are incompetent enough to loose your ID. make sure you get yours back by the end of your transaction.
They will not work with you to find it after you leave it there. Dont expect good manners here.
Sorry people I got there on Saturday at 11:45 and they would not Serve me I made it there before they were do to close. A employee got smart with me and was VERY disrespectful to me the lady behind the glass was nice but not helpful. I don't do business that way. And will tell all of my friends about this.

Please needs more signs. Very easy to go in the wrong area because of the lack of signs. I know it is just a recycling place but still no reason for the employees to have to yell at customers.
