If I could give this scammer business a zero star I would. Not only they never come to tow a car when I’ve called to report a car parked at my paid spot but I forgot to put my pass that it was inside the car and the scammer owner refused to take charge off even though the manager of the property called to explain that they put a boot on my car that was PARKED AT MY OWN SPOT THAT I PAY FOR!!! I will go ahead and report this shady business to the better business bureau! They should be out business!

My truck broke down on campus when Sean towed it back to my apartment and backed it into my apartments shitty parking lot successfully then on top of that helped out with the truck battery. Thank you Sean I love you Sean

I was recently booted in a spot that I pay monthly for. They told me to reach out to the City of Gaineville to appeal (which I did), and I received a response stating that I need to ask the company to release pictures of my car showing that I didn't have my parking decal on. When I called the company, I spoke with an incredibly rude lady who told me that I needed to physically go to superior towing to see the pictures on their computers and that they couldn't release them to me. Pictures of my own car in my own parking space. I was wrongfully booted and I can't even file a case or get my money back because they are withholding evidence. This is such an insufferable company with money-hungry workers who have never been taught common human decency.

Booted by Superior Towing at Avenyl Alt Lot. Unclear signage at the entrance and a $120 boot fee. The whole experience felt very predatory. Be careful parking in Gainesville lots they monitor.

The price is ridiculous. Also, they towed my vehicle from my own parking lot.

Wrongfully booted my car. When I called the company to get this issue resolved, the person on the phone insisted that regardless of whether the immobilization was lawful or not, I would still have to pay. After asking for proof of documentation showing that my pass was “illegible” the person hung up the phone. I will be filing a small courts complaint against the company. I have since spoken to multiple residents claiming they also know of people who were wrongfully booted by this same company. Terrible service. I contacted the authorities and they also highlighted that they’ve gotten multiple calls regarding them “preemptively immobilizing” vehicles

These people are crooked thieves. They stole my welder, dewalt tools and diesel from my truck after sitting in their impound for one night. I'm filing a police report today

Fine, I’ll add to the shitty reviews of this company. After spending $600, they refused to at least wash the numbers and letters off the window. The car wash won’t did not it off and now spending extra time and money to figure out how to get it off. Do your customers a courtesy and clean up your mess. Any other business would.

They booted my wife's car while she was eating lunch with her friend and our baby without fully checking the patrons inside. Do better.

absolutely terrible company. also, person on the phone is not realistic about how soon the tow truck driver is coming to take off your boot, so I was left waiting for 40 minutes in the cold. Would give negative stars if I could.

Towed my car from an accident, no details after that until I found out they wanted half a grand to give it back to me by the time my insurance was sorted. I don’t have half a grand and them taking my car cost me my job and transportation. This place is a scam and is now selling my car after taking it from a veteran on Veterans Day.

The absolute worst, money-hungry, rude company. Their lack of professionalism and how they talk to people and then hang up is on a whole new level. It is very telling how, even with over 700 reviews, they average 1.7. They are truly miserable people to talk to. Every person I spoke to there had the same terrible attitude and tone, and their go-to after they are rude to you is to just hang up. My daughter had a reservation with Park on the Fly that we paid over $300 for because it was long-term. Her most recent reservation switched from lot 51 to lot 50, which are literally right next to each other. She inadvertently parked in 51. Lots were practically empty, so she wasn't taking up space and was a paying customer for 2 years, and, go figure, they booted her and made their $85. No listening to her or me whatsoever no flexibility or understanding guess they need the money that badly to support their miserable selves. Wish I could give zero start. They are the prime example of predatory towing. The city and parking companies need to do better in who they contract with. We are a paying customer of the parking company that allows superior to do what they do and there was zero customer service

Predatory company with rude workers. Last night I went to pick up my friend from using place at the retreat (yugo highbrach). I left from my usual free spot near downtown and the innovation district after the big game. All the guest spots at the retreat were full, and my friend said I could park in his reserved spot as his car was back in orlando. I parked there for 15 minutes and by the time I got to my car the car was booted. I understand the need for parking enforcement in residential complexes, but what Superior towing was conducting last night was pure predatory practices. If they truly wanted to help their communities tow unauthorized Parkers they would not be booting cars. By booting cars you are forcing illegal Parkers to leave their cars in the spot. This only created a bigger issue for residents who needed to park there and results in more boots from residents pushed out of their spots resulting in more boots. If they really cared about the community they would not be wasting their time with boots and would opt for a ticket/tow system rather than wasting ours and their time with boots. To further highlight the predatory nature of this company, I never see them booting and towing cars at these complexes, but on the one day that there was a big game their suddenly out in full force. Even in my empty garage over at the metropolitan they went out of their way to the very top floor to boot the one car that was parked there. More than 60 percent of the garage was empty and they decided to still go around booting cars. Absolutely predatory company and their workers are very rude as well. I understand that I was a forced customer but you should still treat the customer with respect. I just highlighted the point to him about the difference in price they charged city of gnv charged 34 while they priced there tickets at 80 dollars. Literally just pointed it out to him saying thats quite the difference no kinda crazy, this was even after giving him my credit card to pay the price. He should have just agreeded with me cuz the difference is crazy or politely declined that it was the right price. Still the guy attempted to argue with me justifying the difference in price and talked bakc to me rudely. I gave him my card and was prepared to pay mind you, and he still had the attitude to defend their prices. The deal is done, I dont know what your arguing to me about. I saw the same guy throwing middle fingers in some of these customers reviews. Such a rude man. I asked him a questioun about the signatures I was signing and he replied very rudely with a sassy attitude that was very rude and unprofessional. I truly have never in my life met such a rude and scummy human being before. I treated him very nicely, and he still acted smugly towards me. He was an older gentlemen well not sure if thats the right term, very scruffy looking and he had a real attitude to him. The people over the phone were quite pleasant however, they clearly could tell that I was frustrated but I feel like they dealt with the situation well. Overall though, this company is very predatory and has rude employees in their trucks. Instead of leaving boots on people picking up friends at their empty apartment lots they should have been devoting all their resources to towing all the idiots parked like wild all over midtown, downtown, and the innovation districts. Really predatory nature of them and I was literally parked there for 15 minutes. The attached photos were provided by another reviewer named David. I feel very bad for David, because Noone should have to go through that. Luckily he did not behave as aggressively with me, but he still had a extremely rude and aggressive demeanor to him. He genuinely made me uncomfortable and I did not feel safe around him. He started arguments with me when I was willing to pay the ticket, and talked down on me and spoke back very rudely. He is a very rude and unprofessional individual that absolutely needs to get removed from their employee lineup.

Superior Towing is a scam. They work with "Midtown Parking Plaza" to generate boots on vehicles. Purchased parking pass for "Midtown Parking Plaza" on StubHub, when you arrive to the parking garage there are no attendants working and no equipment to check in or out... basically open to the public. Our assigned section was full and with no attendant we parked on another floor. When we returned to our vehicle it was booted with a note stating to go to the 3rd floor a driver would be there for us to pay and have boot removed. When we arrived to the top floor there were plenty of parking places, go figure! But no one parked except Superior Towing. It was like arriving to something off a "Wrong Turn" movie and definitely a scary situation for a female who may be alone. We advised we purchased parking passes and our section was full and there was no concern for that and we had to pay and then wait in front of our vehicle for 45 minutes before having the boot removed. Given that they were allowed to park on the top floor alone with plenty of parking places it shows that they work in partnership with the parking plaza to "set people up" and generate boot fees.

The people will literally laugh in your face for being booted in a parking space you already pay $100 a month for. they’re super spiteful and a terrible company who takes joy in inconveniencing people. multiple times have they booted me in a space they know is mine

I just spoke with the most aggressive, unprofessional person I've ever spoke to at a towing company..The other lady whom I was initially speaking to is hostile and lacks the understanding of a proper conversation.. Customer service training would be no use for her.. The automated system states one thing she contradicted everything. The automated system stated. Shes Not knowledgeable of her companies policies and procedures yet she represents a company. Refused to divulge her name refused to have the call escalated to a supervisor.. Also refused to provide the police department information stating I could Google it.

On October 12th, Sean did a really tough tow for me getting somebody out of my reserved spot in an underground garage. There was a pillar and car on each side of the car and not a lot of room to maneuver; I have no idea how he did it, let alone so quickly. I really appreciate him answering my call and getting the hard job done instead of just booting the car, as I needed the spot empty so my girlfriend didn't have to walk alone during the night.

If I could give them a zero I would. What a useless company. I had a parking pass and was here for less than 2 hours and I was booted. Damn this company. May god forsake them all.

parked illegally, got a boot (naturally). BUT, even at 3:37 AM, they picked up my call, and instantly dispatched someone to take the boot off. Nice dude, and prompt service. Can’t even be mad honestly

Was verbally abused by Kevin D. Within a minute of him getting there he yelled at us to get out of our car and come up to his window after we waited for 30 minutes for him to arrive. Told him he has no right to verbally abuse his clients, said “you’re not my clients, the people who own this place are and you violated them.” Btw my mom was here for parents weekend, royal village gives out too many visitor passes than it has spots for and had no choice but to pay for $80 parking thru the boot.

They refused to tow a car that was in my reserved parking spot for my apartment, then they boot my friend who I let park in my space. Thanks Superior!

I’ve been booted three times in about six weeks: twice in the apartment complex’s paid parking garage and once in my girlfriend’s building (I was parked for roughly 30 minutes to help bring up groceries). Every time I tried to resolve it, the tow company said they were enforcing apartment rules and the apartment office said the tow company handles enforcement — so neither will take responsibility. The only specific reason given was that my car supposedly wasn’t a “compact,” despite fitting well within the painted lines and with cars parked nowhere near me. This felt like a confusing, avoidable expense (each boot/tow is expensive) and poor coordination between property management and the tow company. Whether the fault lies with the apartments or the towing company, the result is the same: residents — especially students on tight budgets — get charged for unclear or inconsistently-applied rules. This company sucks and I hope they get shut down.

Nothing puts the "superior" in Superior Towing like putting a boot on my car even though I had a parking pass fully visible on the dash and showing up nearly 2 hours after being called to then be condescending and unhelpful. Extremely unserious company.

I’m giving this company a 4 because of the driver (Paul) who came to unboot my car after the Gator game on Saturday night. I had been parking in that same lot probably for the last 15-20 years, but apparently after last football season switched over to paid parking without my knowledge. Anyway, although I could have handled the situation better, Paul was so calm and cool and went about his job without raising his voice or showing disrespect to me. He was very professional and courteous and did not ever engage in arguing. So, thank u Paul because u probably have to deal with a lot of “stuff” from unhappy people. If this ever happens to me again, I will definitely consider that person who are performing their job and making a living for themselves and their families.

Parking restrictions were lifted during move out for a friend’s apartment and i parked at the future resident spot for her to go into the office confirm everything she needed to leave with them and then leave her keys in the apartment while i went to pick up some last few boxes. Her pass was in my car but not hanged and they were claiming i was a resident and i couldn’t have her pass inside my car. So in that logic i can’t have a passenger’s belongings in my car and i asked them to verify with the complex that the pass did not match either my name or my car’s information as they were not mine! Woman on the phone contradicted herself multiple times. At any point I raised ny voice at her and was talking normally. She consistently yelled at me after talking over me multiple different times and she put me on a hold and did not come back to help me at all. I ended up paying unfairly. Frustrating situation but at peace knowing i’ll never deal with them ever again as i’m graduating and the lady will be forever at a low end job scamming students not knowing how to control her ridiculous anger issues with customer service. 0/10.

I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this incredibly unprofessional towing company. My son had a friend visiting his apartment complex, and despite having a valid guest pass displayed, the company still placed a boot on the car. They claimed they couldn’t see the expiration date, even though they placed the boot on the start date. I attempted to dispute the issue by calling, but received no assistance—even after calling the police. I decided to use basic speaking skills and tried to discuss with the company’s receptionist but unfortunately, she decided to not be reasonable and was very rude. When I asked if she would be willing to personally lose $80 over a mistake made by their company, she simply hung up on me. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I don’t know how companies like these stay in business and I hope their day is as pleasurable as they are.

Thank you Superior Towing for simply being the best. You stand out from other towing companies whom have given my car a second chance, but not you. I parked at 6:03 pm and within seconds, you were on sight. There is no more efficient service that I have witnessed. As you may notice, some of your reviews are pretty negative, and that, I do not understand. You are always there without fail. Rain or shine. Day or night. You serve a greater purpose than most realize. What is life without pain? What is parking without Superior Towing? All the best, Your most loyal patron

Such a gross company. Why do you suck money out of broke college kids? My boyfriend came over for the weekend at my apartment, I received the correct passes from Friday-Monday. I had to receive 2 passes, one for Friday and one for Monday. I guess the Monday one slipped up into the windshield and wasn’t visible completely. It was still visible that there were TWO passes but only one showed the full date. I understand the policy of “have the date visible” but you really can’t appeal that if you have evidence?? I completely understand if there is no evidence at all. But we literally have 2 passes, a log of my apartment’s passes, and security video footage of me going into the front office of my apartment to come get it. I guess we know for next time, but keep this in mind if you are parking in the Gainesville area.

BEWARE!!! I paid for parking at Midtown Plaza Garage in Gainesville for the football game. I did this so my 70 year old grandad who I brought to the game with me could be closer. It says on our receipt from the parking pass “You may park anywhere that doesn’t say reserved” so we did. Got back to our car and we have a immobilized notice with a subject to tow. SEVEN other people with us had one too and receipts where they paid. We called the number no one picked up luckily one of the other people got in touch and a man named Kevin (employee #105723) with superior towing pulled up. I went up to Kevin and asked him why I had this on my car when I paid and he threw his hands up at me and yelled at me saying “anything past level 3 is resident parking ONLY and there’s a big sign explaining this” (it does NOT say this on the sign or on our parking receipt. So I yelled at him back naturally because it is 10:30 and I am trying to get my grandad home and he told me “congratulations you will be the last one to get your immobilizer removed. I was so angry. He came back around at 12:00 in the morning and wanted us to pay $90 for him to take it off. He told my grandad to walk to the atm and take our cash on the first floor. He has bad hips and cannot do that but luckily he had cash and handed him the cash. The man took it smiled at me and mocked me the ENTIRE TIME. He wrote us a receipt and we told him he will be hearing from our lawyers. He said “I’ve heard that too many times but good luck” and laughed as he drove away. The way he treated us was horrible and even though I was angry he was very aggressive even with my grandad who is down to earth and I was scared for my safety. Anyone else who has had this experience let me know.

This place put a boot on my car within 5 mins that I left it. I literally gave proof that I wasn’t gone long. It was night time, didn’t see any no parking signs, the area was very dark and I found one lighted area went inside a nearby business for 5 mins receipt to prove it. Told the worker and he literally belittled me and told me the pay the fine, same with the phone rep. For a single mother of 3, 80 bucks for 5 mins could have really helped me pay my light bill or feed my children. Have a little grace, life is short and hard for those who really try. He didn’t even have time to fill out the notice Never will I wish bad on a business but those who steal from the less fortunate should pay eternally! Check out the invoice all of the info is missing. It’s literally a crime to steal.
