Thank you so much to the fellow who quickly drove out to a random parking lot on highway 160 early on this Christmas morning to jump start my car in the rain.
These guys are the real deal. Am absolute life saver. They drove from Pagosa Springs to the middle of nowhere in New Mexico deep in the forest, recovered our vehicle, and brought it back to Albuquerque. Their staff was very kind on the phone, and the tow truck driver had some skills to get it unstuck. I can’t thank them enough.
Shannon was amazing. My boyfriend and I were caught on the side of the road with a puncture in my tire. I couldn’t figure out how to access the spare tire as it was kept in a weird location. He showed up 15 minutes after we called Tripple A. He made sure we knew how to change it for the next incident. He told us where to go to get new tires in town. We were even given restaurant and hike recommendations. He was so sweet and friendly!

JR Towing was incredibly helpful when our truck and trailer with a family of 4 and a dog broke down on Wolf Creek pass. They hauled our equipment, and all us all back to town, got us hooked up with a mechanic as soon as they opened then next day, gave us additional repair advice with Jeremy's own mechanical expertise, and even offered advice about places to stay and town activities that only a Pagosa Springs native could! They made our difficult situation much more pleasant. I would highly recommend using their services.
They came out in a flash! They got our friend back into a locked car in just a couple minutes too. I’d definitely use these guys again if I’m in the area and need some help.
I have used their services more than a couple times for accidents and I have been there for when they were needed by others in dire circumstances and I can firmly say they really are the only tow company I would use in this area. Thank you for everything!
Waited 12hrs for JR Towing to show up. When he did, was rude.Hubby is a disabled army vet. Why he could not do it. Needed a flat changed. We were trying to leave town. Will not be using him again.
We had our camper van towed from Pagosa Springs to Denver by JR Towing and they are top notch!! Very quick to respond, very accommodating, reasonable pricing, and very professional drivers. Marshall was our tow driver and he was great and very pleasant! They saved our vacation and we are beyond grateful for their quick response and help.
Truck decided to quit at Treasure Falls. JR to the rescue! Friendly and professional as well as fair price. Everything I would expect from a fellow Texan:) I actually had to have them tow me twice in two days. Both times they came out quick.
AAA really let us down when our truck overheated due to a hole in the radiator. We waited for 4 hours while AAA called the wrong city. I google and found JR Towing. What a godsend! They were there quick and took fantastic care of us!

JR Towing is wonderful! All of the employees are very nice. The owner picked up our truck and camper trailer. He towed us to Pagosa Springs. They will always be my first choice for towing.
We needed roadside assistance with our Hybrid about 15 miles up hill from Pagosa Springs. We called a local automotive mechanical shop and as they didn't have towing service, they suggested calling JR Towing. Both fit us into their immediate schedule. Very knowledgeable on how to tow the hybrid, loaded it fine and could carry two persons in the truck which is helpful! Gave us suggestions and their knowledge from experience on how to manage a vehicle going thru the mountains as well. All with courtesy and a smile. And very reasonable price, no upcharge for the emergency or unexpected charges. Thank you Doug for your professionalism!

After we paid them from our pocket cuz they wont give us a bill until we pay them... they gave us a hardly visible yellow bill. We sent it to our insurance but our insurance declined it. They want a clear writing on the receipt. We called JR towing 12th times now; Doug, Jeremy and Marshall. They promised to fax it to us but never happened. Goodbye 500 bucks from our pocket. We are a small business. 500 bucks is a pain in our pocket if we are paying $1k every month for our business and truck insurance. We will no longer use their service... they dont care us after we paid them. If there is a minus review here, thats what I would give them. They are snooty and arrogant. Never again guys... never again I will use your service.
This is a reply to Marshall's reply of my review. I hope you apologized instead of lying here. You are lying man. You didn't talk to my insurance cuz you told me your company doesn't deal with the insurance. You even blamed us cuz we didn't call our insurance first before we called you though I insisted that we were told by our insurance to go ahead and call a towing service. You were snooty to us at that time. Also, you didn't email nor fax the bill to us. We even left voice messages to your google phone number a thousand times. You were so nice to us the first time we used your company that is why we used your company's service again. However, this time you were snooty to us. We have requested many times to you, to Doug, to Jeremy to email it to us or fax it to us after we paid you the bill. We should be getting the original white receipt after we paid you from our pocket. We have $1M insurance in Hartford insurance company cuz we use our truck for the business. If we could post here a screenshot of our insurance documents we would do it. You just made up a story in order to save your business' face cuz the truth... you guys just don't care since you got the money already. Anyway, we are still waiting for the visible white receipt we are requesting from you for the 12th time call. I am sure you know me now. I wont stop writing this review if you dont send me a clear receipt. Oh by the way, in my business, if ever we forget or offended our customer due to our poor service... we apologize and do amends instead of making up stories to demean the credibility of our customer. A happy customer will always come back, share his good service experience to his circle of friends or... post bad review in Google, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram you name it... I am a member. Our operator went above and beyond with our issue. Was a simple bolt in tire change but due to the fact we were in a rental he went the extra mile and gave professional advice to ensure we made the trip home safely! If we’re ever back in the area we will call on you again.

Jeremy (owner) used his roll-bed flatbed truck to move an 8' x 20' storage container for me. He was on time, courteous and extremely cautious, and very knowledgeable on how to get the container on the truck and positioned the cargo just right for the offload. The estimate which had been made days in advance gave me a good expectation of the cost. The estimate was way high, he charged me a whole lot less than the estimate. These guys are true locals, and every bit of support they get from the community is well deserved. Thank you J.R. Towing for outstanding service with a smile. You are appreciated.

Awesome company! Saved me when the other towing services in town were busy. Was professional and recovered my overheating truck with a trailer more than halfway up Wolf Creek Pass. I was pulling a horse trailer over Wolf Creek pass and my truck broke down. I called AAA and they contacted JR towing. They were there in a half hour and towed both truck and trailer. On the way to Pagosa Springs, Marshall was on the phone trying to find a place to take my truck and really went beyond his responsibility to find a place to repair my truck asap. Fortunately my truck corrected itself. Would highly recommend this tow company!!!
First time in Pagosa Springs and we ended up getting stuck in the snow. JR Towing got us out in less than 5 minutes. Very quick and efficient! We will hang on to their cars for the duration of this trip.
My family and I were stranded and these guys literally saved our lives! We were coming from Colorado on our way to Arizona when our car suddenly stopped working. Mind you this is a Saturday, we called them to see if they could help and arrived with a tow within 20 minutes. They were able to diagnose the problem and even took us to a part store to get the needed part ( fuel pump).
I hope this never happens to anyone but if you are in need of an honest group of people please call JR Towing!
I cannot say enough great things about this company. We were 5 hours away from home stranded, they came in their tow trucks took our family to their shop and fixed our car! Our fuel pump had to be replaced, they worked diligently to call around to ensure we could get the right parts. I’m so thankful they were able to help us last minute especially on a Saturday. Highly recommend!!! 👍
