Not a large area. Gets a bit crowded at times, but a minor inconvenience at worst. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We travel a lot - RV style. The San Juan Forest Service pamphlet listed this site for trash disposal. Gentleman working at site is great - very friendly, kind and ready to answer any questions. I did find the fee for this site to be the most expensive we have come across before - $3.00/household garbage bag. There are recycling bins. Site is small, effective & efficient, open Tuesday- Saturday normal business hours. Lastly, very community oriented; busy and everyone seemed to know each other - dare I say I bet this is where you can find out what’s really going on in town!
