I needed some support arms for my Subaru Crosstrek hatch. I came across them on Facebook marketplace, and they were quick to respond. They gave me a great price for them. Despite being busy, they were attentive. The support arms work great, if I went to the dealership, I definitely would have paid an arm and a leg for the two support arms.

I had a good experience after the owner picked up and took responsibility for the faulty part that was sold. From reading the reviews below this seems like a common issue, though at this junkyard. Ultimately they did give me a refund, but initially refused. The owner explained all of his reasons why he felt like he may not be responsible for a part like what we purchased being a turbo charger, not being functional. Really only gave a good review though because he spent the time to take care of his customer and rectify the issue.
I called to get some information and whoever I spoke to was exceptionally rude. I didn't want to complain or leave a poor review when I haven't even dealt with this business in person, however first impressions are important. I chose to call this place because of their message on their building, but that doesn't seem to align with everyone that works there. The whole phone call was less than 10 seconds long, and just as I was about to ask one more question, I was hung up on. We all have bad days, but if you don't have any patience or don't take the time to communicate, then why even bother to answer the phone? It also makes me think if this is how one conducts themselves in public, imagine how they behave away from work. Thanks for helping me to make the decision very easy. I'll pass, as they couldn't assist me anyhow, from what I was able to gather from our brief correspondence. All the best.
Sold me a part that was sold as tested and functional, drove 2 hours in each direction to get it, installed the part only for it to be non functional and somehow that’s not their fault and are refusing to refund or replace

OUTTA TOWN NEED A PART?? LOOK NO FURTHER!
Was from out off town when the transmission on my van broke. Called all the junk yards and they sent me here. He had the best price for the transmission around! Then he referred me to the guy who would put it on for the best price in town! So I came and picked up the van after it was done. Unfortunately the next day the transmission blew on me….. but he did right and sent a new transmission to the shop where I had it at…. Only reason why this isn’t a 5 star is because my local shop had to take the new transmission off again and redo the seals on it because the seals weren’t done properly…
These guys are great. I called and they didn’t have the hard to find part but took my number and tried to find the part for me. I got a phone call the next day and they had it for me. Price was very reasonable and it worked perfectly. Very nice people as well.
Extremely disrespectful. Called about my 1990 Nissan Hardbody and asked him if they still worked on them... Except I had to ask him about 4 times because he kept yelling to the people in his shop. Finally gives me an answer of "no" and hangs up. Don't waste your time here.

That's the most honest import man in the business. Always a pleasure doing business with Jay. they have done five Motors and Transmissions for me never had a problem with one include in my personal vehicle
You can not trust this shop. I left my car with them for a week, they said they worked on it but it's still doing the same thing. I already payed a thousand dollars to them for the labor and my car is still messed up. They said they put a new part, but they did not, it more like they mickey mouse my car. They put other shops down and made me believe in them. Now they want me to go back and leave my car for another week, this is the car I use for work.
I needed to get a used transmission and got one here for my Geo Metro. They gave it a 90 day warranty and it worked great. They helped me with what kind of oil to use for it as well. I since bought another transmission from them and it worked great, I am now going to get my next one for my Sentra. They have the best prices on transmissions. Better than any place around and with a good warranty.
Super helpful. They don't carry the part I was looking for, but the guy who answered referred me to two other possible salvage yards and even took the time to provide their numbers and locations. I've seen other reviews criticizing the treatment on the phone, but they are way off from my experience. The guy who answers the phone here isn't Mr. Warm Fuzzy, but he knows his business and is very helpful. Maybe those other reviewers are delicate little snowflakes.

Called looking for a window regulator for a '95 Lexus ES 300. Jay answered and immediately said they had one. I drove down and they pulled the part while I waited. I was impressed by his knowledge of automobiles and his inventory. I installed the part with no problems and it works perfectly. I would highly recommend J.R. Auto Salvage to anyone.
Horrible place to go for transmission.bought to they both slipped lost money and time & gave me the worst cores so I'm extremely mad with these wana be shop beware.will never go there again..
