These guys painted my Trimaran. That’s 3 hulls. They did an amazing job and they even hooked me up with some touch up paint and a brush for free when I scuffed it up a few weeks later. Nice to have this excellent facility in the harbor.

I was in a pinch with a last minute necessary repair and a tight weather window. The helpful staff at marina shipyard was able to fit me in same day and help me with the fix so I wouldn't miss my window.

Well, yeah, I did call. And, ah, the yard was great, if'n you got a ship, or a reasonable length thereof, (I'd say 30 footish?), it'd be one Hell of a good if not great place, for ships and "vessels", just to hang out on the yard. Yes I would aggree - - "The Best". However, I called for directions back to the Freeway, going north. Good, if not great dorections! If I ever get lost in a car, boat, or X-Mas party, I'm calling "The Shipyard"! Thank You, for the map.

I would give more stars if I could. Nick helped get a list of stuff done on my boat in just a couple days. Great staff, very friendly and I will recommend Marina Shipyard to everyone. Thanks again

Very efficient , competent and courteous staff from Tony on down to the repair workers. They made every effort to complete the repairs in a timely manner and kept me informed whenever I asked. The quality of the repair is excellent. I've been to many other repair facilities over the past 40 years and the Marina Shipyard is by far the best I've experienced.

It's one of the few shipyards left where you can get your boat hauled out and worked on. I prefer this over Eddie's over in Wilmington

What a pleasure to work with and we never even met anyone or stepped foot on their property. They took such good care of us and our interest as out-of-state boat buyers. We had the broker take the boat to Marina to prep it for shipping to us. I really appreciated all the emails and phone calls from Dawn. And, even when things had to change up at the last minute, they were so patient and understanding. Our boat hauler said they did a great job in preparing our boat for him to ship. Thanks Marina, for all your care and expertise!

This is my favorite shipyard. The service is great, they are always happy to see me, I always get hugs and a Thank You card.

These guys are the guys you want to know when you need your boat fixed. I'm on my 40 Carver Saturday and my Port shaft seal blows. Tons of water coming in, sumps are barely keeping up. 6:31 Monday morning I call the Shipyard and get Dawn. I tell her my story, and she says bring it to me by 10:00, our yard is closing this morning for a week for concrete repairs, but we can fix the boat for you and re-launch it in a week. Keep in mind Ive never been to this yard before So, I run it over , get with Dawn and Tony , they give me the scoop on those old style seals and the now new improved ones. Tony advises me to replace both since the other one will go out soon, I agree. I green light the repairs, they do a full inspection while they have it and call me with that. Tuesday at noon Tony calls and says my boat is done, when do you want it. Turns out they left it at waters edge, so they could launch it when complete. Picked it up last night, good as new, all bildges dry. Thank you Dawn and Tony for taking care of this, you've earned a new customer. I've owned several boats and dealt with several boat yards along the coast of California. These guys are the best. They do exactly what they say they will do, no hassles, no hidden fees, or surprises. You need any boat repairs, take it to them , they will take care of you first class all the way .

They are very professional and did a good job for us.

We had our Morgan 41 Out Island hauled out to have the cutlass changed a few months ago. Initially our diver told us he could do it in the water, but after taking six months and losing our prop shaft, we fired him and decided to have it done right. Although the estimate Marina Shipyard gave us was lower than the final bill, they did have to rebuild/re-glass part of the stern where the diver had "hacked" at it trying to get the old cutlass out. Then they found two more cutlass bearings pressed in that also had to be removed. All and all it was a pleasant enough experience. We will use them again, if needed, and we would definitely recommend Marina Shipyard to others.

Buyer beware! This shipyard will con boat owners into excessively expensive and unnecessary repairs. Take your boat there, and you'll get rolled. Just check out their Yelp page for other warnings. STAY AWAY! Go to Basin Marine or even the Dana Point Shipyard to get some honest, quality work done. They are good people, not like the Marina Shipyard. BEWARE
