The hours are such a lie...they say der open till 4pm..on sundays...n its been 2 tymes dat ive gone around 3pm...and its been closed....dey need to fix der housr listin on google...
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, Scam location. Will not weigh correctly or use sleight of hand to give you less money with the tare weight.. They did this to a 92 year old man and expected no one would find out. Disgusting behavior of a location. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Go somewhere where you'll get paid what you're owed.
The men who assists with bins are nice and helpful. Unfortunately on the other hand, why would you say your open on Sundays when you're not. I just packed my car up with all my recyclables and you're closed it's 243 on a Sunday, September 15th.
This was a horrible experience. Never again will I go here. I will get the word out to everyone in this area not to take their business here. I literally brought three bags of plastic bottles, half a bottle of cans and bottles. They gave me $17.22. That math doesn’t add up when each bottle and can is 10 cents. Like I said I will get the word out not to support this business.
the manager was really rude and hung up in my face 2 times because i got the wrong number she said she was the manager and was not i would never recommend this place for anybody she has no skills towards her customers she is absolutely rude and hung up on me twice .
The guys that work there seemed helpful. It was clean enough. But I called and asked about what they accept. She was not paying attention. I came and saw why. the lady in the glass cage is hilarious. She thinks she's the queen of the dump with lots of makeup and a huge attitude. Lady you help collect trash, get a grip. Drop your attitude.
I had over 40 lb of cans, they weighed it out at 33. I got on the scale I weigh 382 lb their scale said I weighed 362 lb. Their scale is off. Do we call California weights and measures?
They really do cheat you, I have brought less and they give me more, I bring more and they give me less, they don't even really weigh the stuff you bring, bunch of scammers, I recommend everyone to go elsewhere
This place cheats you. They don't even weigh your cans before pulling it off and giving you an estimate. Have been paid very little for a large amount of aluminum. I'm guessing they're counting on the homeless being desperate for money to pull off this kind of scam.
Parking here is tight but they actually have you with getting a spot and fitting. So was able to get in and out with minimum wait time. Wear old shoes and gloves ?

I would of loved to give a 5 star rating based on employees, however this company closed their doors earlier then the posted closing time on 3 different occasions. Frustrating after riding bike or walking 5 miles .
The cashier, Viridiana Santillan, scammed me because she didn’t fully count the aluminum cans and only paid us $9. This upset me because I saved up recyclables for up to 3-4 months and I turned in 3 whole bags of recyclables. I easily lost around $15 and I wouldn’t advise anyone else to go here, please heed my advice and go to a different recycling center.

I hate the fact that they close Early and there signs says 4pm, I got here at 3:40pm and doors were closed and had other people also wondering why they were closed. I. Reporting this to the better business bureaus and hopefully like that they can keep the door open till it's time to close.
I like going to this recycling center but on the last occasion they didn’t even weigh my aluminum. Im talking about at least 15 dollars worth of crushed cans. I didn’t check my receipt till I got home cause I trusted them up until that point. I walked away with 25 bucks but it should have been in the 30’s. I figured by the time I went back it would be hard to dispute my claim since my cans would likely be buried under a bunch of others. I believe this was all a mistake and the workers seem like good people but I got screwed.
They don't offset the bins weight correctly after your recyclables have been weight. They yell out a number to the cashier (in my case 15lbs.per bin. What they did not know is that I had weight the 4 bins at 6 lbs. 9 lbs.11 lbs. and 13 lbs. With a hand held suitcase weighter). Instead of weighting the bins again to offset weight correctly they say each bin is 15 lbs. When confronted with this and ask to speak with the owner they gave me the run around. DON'T GO THERE
I drove all the way from South Gate, made it before made it 4:50pm and they turned me away. So much for a running business, I guess everyone one deserves to go home early on Fridays
This place is a complete RIP off since new owners have taken over, employees have no respect and management simply doesn't care. I would advise anyone and everyone not to do business with them at all, if you do you must count all your money!!
Literally my favorite recycling center. The staff is great. They help you get out of there as fast as possible. For people who write bad reviews about the bins and what not, it’s like it’s a recycling center what does it matter ??♀️
I totally agree this place is a total rip off, I literally came in with a lot of plastic, cans and bottles at least 11 full tubs(that they have at their site) they only gave me $54.64 I new they were cheating me , even the people that were in the line, said they were cheating me. we got in a low key argument and i fussed with them, but no results, I know some go there due to the closeness of their homes but, please do not patronize this place it is totally ripping the community off and they don't even care.
Can get slow sometimes and overcrowded. Most of the workers cant speak english well so understanding what they say can be frustrating. Besides that they pay ok rates.
/low rating,looked on their website for sunday hrs and it said 3:30,we rode our bicycles from Willmington Ave. carrying a big heavy bag of cans and got there at 3:15, they said they closed at 3:00 and refused to take them, i showed them the webpage where it said 3:30 but they still refused.it was a long ride back carrying that heavy bag.
Don't ever bring your recycling here! you will get cheated! Not only that they are slow ass hell! one dude has a bad attitude mad about his raggedy job as guess! but if you want to get cheated go there!! I had some bottles and cans and I know I had at least 12 /15 dollars worth got 3 dollars
It's open Sunday which is cool. But the place looks like hell. One guy does everything. Works hard too. He's the one weighing the bins and emptying the bins. It can get backed up because they under staff this guy. The trash bins they give you might as well be thrown in with the recycles. The bins are all different sizes and shapes. There is no consistency and they are beat to hell. The bins have holes, no handles, and shredded. They are so small too. You need like 10 bins just to do a few bags. Then you have to wait by the guy weighing to finish with some one else's bin to get another one. They don't have enough bins. And when it gets busy, it gets ugly. If you got some recycles on Sunday this is the best place to go. But on any other day, I would go somewhere else.
