We called his shop based on the food reviews and explained we were traveling from a different state and headed through that state to another one and that we think our radiator just blew. He told us he'd stay till after closing to look at it and see if he can help us. He went way beyond what he needed too. He fixed us the next day and helped get the truck up and running. He was a godsend. We were stressed thinking nobody would help us in such a unknown area to us and so far from home and to the destination but he was willing to help. It's wonderful knowing there's still good honest people out there. If you ever need anything done I think he's top of our list. A huge thank you for helping. It was the biggest relief in such a stressful trip.
Brought our truck in for an AC problem. They were on it! They fixed it quickly and honestly. No price gouging or anything. Glad our friend recommended them- we will for sure be back!
Called the phone number, and Walt answered the phone. I needed help diagnosing an issue with my pickup. Long story short, the dude has it in his head that anyone who calls is a complete moron and a burden, and that’s the way I was treated. I started off by telling him that I was having an issue and wanted to see if he had an idea what it was. He then stayed quiet for a few seconds as if that was the most outrageous statement he’s ever heard in his life, and responded with the attitude of a bratty teenager “Uhhhh… well I don’t know?” as if he really thought I wasn’t about to elaborate on the symptoms of my vehicle in the next 3 seconds if he had responded to that like a normal person. I kept my cool, told him what was going on, and got a lame response followed by a “I’m 3 weeks out”. Good, I wasn’t about to give you my money after that episode anyways. Needless to say I know exactly where my business is never going.
A few days ago I limped my 50-year old Aston Martin in to Reynold's Auto Repair for an emergency fix. Driving up from Lake Tahoe we had gone over a rock in the middle of the road that tore off the exhaust system. Even though we got to Reynold's late in the afternoon, they managed to get the car so we could continue our trip back to Canada. I cannot thank them enough! They did exactly what was required quickly and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this repair shop, and give it 'Five stars' without hesitation!
Honda CRV AC compressor broke as my wife and I travelled through Susanville in the middle of Labor Day weekend and were unable to drive the vehicle further. Walt fixed us up at a fair price and had us on our way within hours of receiving parts from Reno.
Best service ever, I would recommend this Auto shop to my friends. They replaced both Air suspension bags in a day and half and did and excellent job. Our car drives smoothly with no bouncing. Very friendly and trustworthy

Customer service extraordinary!! Walt arrived 15 minutes after our first call for help. Then within 8 hours he made sure we were apprised of his progress every two hours or so even though he is a one man shop!! Highly recommended for automotive assistance in the Susanville Calif area!!
Walt is always fair and reasonably priced. Ive taken my van in a few times and he always does an excellent job! I highly recommend this company! Being a female sometimes taking a vehicle in is stressful! He makes it easy and doesn’t try to gouge you! Thank you Walt!! Love the service!
I went Reynolds & Raymond for a little check up on my Jeep. Turns out nothing was wrong and that's a good thing. My concerns were addressed one by one and I felt a lot better. They treated me with respect and understanding. I will most definitely go back to see them again if anything comes up in the future. Thanks guys
Worst experience ever! Rude and disrespectful mechanic!!! Doesn’t have manners to converse with a customer. Would have given negative rating had there been an option.
When I tried negotiating price for service I was planning on to get from here, the mechanic says “if you talk, I’ll increase the cost”. Will never go to this location again!! and recommend others the same
We were driving through Susanville on our way camping and blew a gas line. Nobody in town had time to fix it but one mechanic on main street referred us here, and Walt had our car repaired quickly and was super nice and professional. Thanks again Walt!
We were traveling from PHX up to bend Oregon when my truck started to overheat and had steam coming from under the hood. USAA had the truck towed here and we couldn't have been more fortunate. Our mechanic was Walt who is also a co-owner. He was quick to find the leak, and had parts delivered and installed before we even knew what was wrong with it. Unfortunately it had a bad o-ring and we had to wait a bit long for a second part. Walt knew we were hungry and was nice enough to take us to lunch! It was a great small town experience all around and we we're thrilled to get back on the road the same day. We won't forget this place! Thanks Walt!
I had my truck towed to these people twice the second time they put my truck to the side 3 weeks later i had to have it towed some where else they cost me big im from oklahoma
