Awesome place! They are very honest and so courteous. We broke down in Susanville and they fixed it immediately, so we could get back on the road. Thank you, and we did get to Florida.

He helped me get back on the road fast after I spent 5 days trying to get towed from progressives tow service. Bad experience to say the least . Once susanville tow got me covered Paul had me on the road the next day. A big THANK YOU to susanville tow and Paul's automotive.

Paul was amazing. I came in with no appointment. We got stranded in town and needed help. He looked at my van immediately, diagnosed what was wrong and referred me to the right mechanic in town. I tried to pay him for his time but he refused to take it. Seriously you don't find quality people like Paul very much anymore. Would highly recommend!!

My Suburban had trouble while I was on Vacation - closest mechanic was booked almost a month out. I had to drive an hour to get to Paul's. He immediately diagnosed the problem, and gave me an estimate before I left. It was fixed by the next morning and the bill was less than the estimate! I was happy with all aspects of the work.

Fantastic, honest, quick service. He and his son went the extra mile. I was traveling from Oregon to Arizona and broke down 20 miles outside of Susanville late Sunday, got a tow to Paul's shop the next morning. He contacted me later with the damages. The labor and parts were unbelievably reasonable fair and honest. He sent his son to our motel to pick us up the next morning. And we were on the road again. I enjoy taking my vehicle here. You make an appointment bring it in and the work is done asap, usually that day. Paul is friendly, to the point and tells you what needs to be done. The business is very clean and there is not a lot of cars parked outside waiting to be seen. I'm coming back for sure!

I was cut off and hung up on because I asked if they would be able to install a part that I ordered. I figured it would be the fastest and easiest route, so my vehicle didn't sit at their shop until the part came in. Oh well... first time trying to go to this place, definitely won't be attempting to utilize their services ever again. Customer service is DEAD.

Paul was able to diagnose our truck and recommend another shop that specialized in the repair we needed. Honesty and service are the best advertisement. We will be back. Thanks again Paul and keep up the good service.

Amazing how you are hiding the bad reviews yet letting Paul Romesburg and family give themselves good reviews... but you are being honest... I can use other people's phones to see if you "hide reviews ". Not impressed. Kid at the front desk told me he was quoting me the highest price and then would come down "IF they could". Have you noticed he is not there full time based on his business hours. You believe you are not paying extra so he can do that?

I have gone over around 12 because say open tell 3 to 4 depending on day of week. There is never anyone there on any of the weekdays after 12. They really should not lie about there hours of being open.

Pauls auto has been able to fix my vehicles, or recommend a shop that could. He doesn't do unnecessary work and charges reasonable rates.

They were able to get my service done quickly and had helpful and pleasant staff.

Just needed AC recharge and they were able to determine my system was good and was able to recharge system. This is the first time in years I have taken my car to a mechanic. Normally, I do all work myself, including transmissions and engine repair. Very pleased with their service and I can highly recommend them to others.

Paul took time to look at my vehicle's problem at no charge. He recommended a local facility that could handle it. Nice people, easy to work with.

Thank you Paul's Automotive of Susanville CA! My daughter and her friends got stranded in nearby Alturas where NO ONE would help them, not even the Napa auto parts there. They said you were very kind, reassuring, and did a once over on their car just to make sure there wasn't a more serious problem before they headed back to Colorado (long way with lots of desolate area in between) . I can't thank you enough as a parent concerned about these kids on their first road trip far from home by themselves.

Great shop! After other shops in town had not been able to diagnose a problem in my truck, Paul was able to get me straightened away. After multiple services at this shop I have been impressed with any and all of the work I have gotten done. The only downside, is that they are typically pretty busy, and sometime appointments are a week out. However, to me that is actually a really positive attribute of a shop, because if they didn’t do good work, there certainly wouldn’t be a line for service!

Visiting family in Reno we drove down from Washington. On the way home our truck started bogging down. Long story short, Paul got us in, diagnosed and back on the road in about 1/3 the time he said. Super helpful and friendly! I was on a roadtrip this last week and during a stop in Susanville my car was having issues. My friend and I dropped by this shop and Paul stopped what he was doing to take a look at my car. I work at Sun Automotive, an automotive repair shop back home, and so I really appreciated how helpful he was. He spent some time diagnosing what may be wrong and we got back on the road really quickly thanks to his help. He didn’t even charge us for the diagnostic time! Super thankful I found this shop.

Paul helped us immensly. Our car broke down on the way home from a road trip, he worked his butt off to diagnose the problem and fix it up in one day so we could get back on the road. Very friendly, affordable, and fast. Got recommended, and I'm passing on the recommendation!

From my oil change to several repairs on my vehicles Paul's Auto is one of the best in town. The receptionist is very knowledgeable and friendly. I won't be taking mine trucks any place else.

Best shop I have ever dealt with. Honest people and friendly service. Everytime I bring my vehicles in they will tell me exactly what I need and won't do unnecessary fixes. This shop has gone above and beyond for me more times then I can count and is the only place I will take my vehicles to. I made my mom take hers there and she now comes from eureka just to take her car to this shop. I have never felt more family treated then I do when I deal with this shop. LOVE THEM!

Great service with good prices. You get all information put on your invoice. you can see what everything cost. when getting oil changed they check all fluids and let you know if anything need to be filled up.

An honest business, I will be taking my vehicle to them from now on. Took my Saturn there it needed new gas cap other places charge up to 75 dollars to pull the code. I am very pleased.
