For pick ups: Use first entrance, then go out of the second one to straighten out and back up to scale (scale is the yellow line in picture). Fast loading, requires four straps.
Friendly, efficient, kind of a small place so the in and out of the docks can be interesting, you will park on the street walk up and check in, they will have you back in to the scale and then get loaded/unloaded then get another weight, park back on the street and get your paperwork and away you go.
I was 3rd truck and get empty in less than 30 minutes! People nice, speak English well, clear instructions, let you use bathroom. Not busy street, parking on street available.
Has paid for search engine optimization to come up as a result for ‘public scrap services’ yet does not deal with the public. Please hire a better marketing team
Do business here a lot. Workers in the yard; flawlessly perfect. The people that pay you; pathetic. One chic is on her phone all the time and won’t even acknowledge you’re there. It takes forever to get paid. It takes longer than it does to unload your recyclables
If you are coming for pick up and drop you have to go to the scale first and after delivery too
There is street parking for overnight

But big line of trucks today i was earlier reached here so 1 hours for wait my turn

Recycle and scrap metal can be a physically dirty business and at other yards around the country I often see dis-organization and so much clutter you can barely get into the facility. NOT HERE, As tidy a yard as I have seen. I like that they buy from businesses only and not the public. Friendly staff. Easy in and out. Always happy to see us. No hassles. Unlike some yards that have the attitude that you need them more than they need you, again NOT at Southwest Metals, I always feel welcomed and appreciated.
