I had an excellent experience with Combs Wrecker Service & Repair. Darin, the truck driver, arrived earlier than expected and was professional, efficient, and very respectful — a true American who clearly takes pride in his work. Most importantly, my vehicle was handled with care and arrived with zero damage. Kristie in dispatch was equally impressive. My phone kept dropping the call (5–6 times), but she remained patient and professional throughout and successfully gathered all the information needed to get Darin to my location. Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend this team if you need towing or repair services in the Winchester area.

Kristie and Darin are the best. I have used Combs on many occasions and can’t say enough about them. Every time I’ve called Kristie has treated me so well on the phone and made the experience much less stressful. Darin is the professional that you want on the tow, he has many years of experience and it shows. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Easily the most helpful and friendly tow company in the area, Kristie never fails to put a smile on my face even when the situation isn't the best and Darin is always fast and on time, and very informative when doing his job. No question these guys are the best!

Amazing customer service and pricing! I got my car stuck in the snow at a gas station in Winchester and luckily PJ was driving by at the right place and right time. He immediately pulled over to tow my car out of the snow and ice without question. Having to get towed is not the most fun experience but PJ made light of the situation and made it more comfortable and laughable. He made a comment before leaving that really stuck with us for the rest of the day. He said he was glad he could be someone’s guardian angel for the day and he sure was! Thank you again PJ and Combs! ❤️

My car got stuck in a snow bank on Wildcat Hollow Rd. I called several towing companies and was advised they could not assist me. Then I called Combs and Christie advised that she could have someone there in about an hour. I was so relieved to have someone listen to me and who actually wanted to help. And true to the time estimate she called me when the tow truck had arrived. I apologize that I did not get the persons name who successfully got my car out of the snow bank however he was so kind, helpful and efficient. I highly recommend this towing service!!!

They delivered a mini-excavator. Another company could not figure out how to deliver it. Combs showed great problem solving skills and placed the excavator perfectly. Took their contact card and will use them for any future towing need.

My interlock (I know 🙄) crashed out on my car and wouldn't work. Therefore I couldn't start my car. Made an appointment for a tow the following morning and Darren was there on time and very cool!!! The whole family are good people. Amen for them 🙏🏼 I'll tell ya!

Awesome service. Having your car towed is a miserable experience but they made it so easy. They put me at ease, gave me.updates on times and even offered me a ride to the dealership. I did get my own ride but the offer was so sweet.

I had a check engine light issue with my car. Other places tried to charge me big $$$ to tell me what it was. I brought it here and they not only told me what the issue was for free. They worked with me to get the fix in the most accommodating way. 10/10 would call for tows or anything in the future.

Called for car to be towed around 9 o' clock this morning. Everything seem ok but took 2 hours to get to me and I was 15 mins away. They told me a towing truck was on the way. I called while I wated and that's when they told me they were busy with something else and it would take more time. I will look elsewhere next time.

My car randomly shut down on the side of the highway. They arrived quickly handled everything and got me squared away in no time! Fast reliable service!

I called Combs because my car stopped in Leesburg and I couldn't get it started. From the time I heard the voice of Christi until Darren helped me write up the key drop off, I had a deep sense of comfort. I am 78 and my friend who was with me is 93. Christi assured me that Darren would be there ASAP. He arrived in weekday afternoon traffic in Leesburg. Route 7 was a mass of cars. Did that deter Darren's positive attitude? Not at all. He met us with a smile and assured us all would be okay. I felt such a sense of calm. The ride back to Winchester, though full of traffic, was such a pleasant one. As Darren and I talked, I found out that I had taught him in fourth grade! Do you know how proud it made me to know one of my students had grown into such a wonderful young man? He shared stories and pictures of his talented, successful family. What a great dad! The trip back seemed like only a short time due to Darren's taking such good care of us and being such a good conversationalist. You can bet that I will call Combs any time I need service they offer and I will share this story with all of my friends! Thank you so much Combs Wrecker service and especially Darren and Christi!!!

UPDATE: The company made it right and I now have a title. However, I still feel like it shouldnt have taken me doing a negative review and hunting people down to get it fixed so thats why I only gave 4 Stars. Bought a car from them back in April of 2025 and wasn't given DMV paperwork until the middle of June. Got to the DMV to do the paperwork and found out the VIN the owner put on the paperwork was inputted incorrectly. Have been getting the run around from PJ in the main office for the last month. Was told it was being taken care of and that the owner would contact us. It's been over a month since that initial contact and we have been checking in every week, several times a week and the owner still hasn't gotten it fixed. It's an easy fix but for some reason he is refusing to fix it. I have been more than patient but enough is enough. I'm sitting on a vehicle I can't do anything with because he doesn't want to resubmit the DMV paperwork. Next step will be getting the authorities involved.

I was down on my luck on a Sunday afternoon when my car’s check engine light randomly appeared. I had to pull over and while trying to get my ducks in order, Combs Wrecker Services made it as easy as possible for the situation to be stress-free. They quickly gave me a quote on how much a tow would cost (very good pricing!) along with an accurate time estimate. They didn’t require any payment until the service was done - on top of that the driver put my key in the dropbox and filled out a form at the dealership for me without asking. Absolutely amazing customer service. Mike (the owner) made sure I was okay on the phone before asking about the vehicle, and that is what small business is all about. My customer loyalty is sticking with combs! This is my recommendation for any towing services you may need.
