Today 02/05/26 around 8:15am I came over to the store to pick up a order, I walked in to the store wait some minutes and no body showed up to help me out, I walked more in to the the store and two guys where in there, I asked if some could help me out? and one of them in meant attitude said he was busy and was the only one in the store, I said I'm sorry I will comeback later. I just wonder if is that the way he has been trained for customer attention? Unfortunately I did not get the parts I had ordered and for what I have already paid, I'll give a try hopefully later today and I understand that not all the people have the same Values but at least because you are getting paid should put more effort and treat people with more respect.

Brittany at this Stafford location did a fantastic job replacing the battery in my Hyandai Elantra. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommend!!

I stopped by Advance Auto at 444 Garrisonville Rd. 11/19/25 around noon, because I was having possible battery issues. After waiting in line and finally getting to the counter, I asked the gentleman if he could test my battery. He barely made eye contact and told me to wait so he could assist the customers behind me. I reluctantly agreed. After helping the two gentlemen behind me, a new customer walked in with a return and he chose to assist him before me as well. Being passed over not once, but twice, was extremely upsetting. I am a customer with a legitimate need, and I should be treated with the same level of service and respect as anyone else. As a single woman, it was disappointing to feel overlooked and dismissed. I left and went to AutoZone instead. I was greeted immediately, and when it was my turn, the employee stopped what he was doing to help test my battery. He explained my options clearly, went over possible costs, and had me on my way quickly. That is customer service. Because of this experience, Advance Auto will no longer be my first stop when I need help in the future.

They are high school students and no know nothing about vehicles or the products they have in the store will keep going to autozone where I get a discount and the people know the products and know something about vehicles

Bad service, since the new advance auto down the road opened they have been in constant disputes and the clients pay that. I went to return an item that I bought 2 days ago in the other store (With tags and receipt). They didn’t even try the return… they just said that it was not possible. Then I asked why if it is the same store chain, same town etc… they said simply because their stores are not connected… this doesn’t make any sense.

This place never disappoints me!! I am a single woman that doesn't know a lot about vehicles. However, when I come to this location the staff is consistently awesome!! They are patient, polite & knowledgeable. I leave feeling confident that I got the correct part. I'll continue to use Advanced Auto Parts-Stafford!!

It seems that the employees at Advance Auto are On a mission to be the absolute best auto parts store in Stafford, Virginia and with my latest experience, I think they’re well on their way. No less than five seconds after entering the store I’m greeted by Jamar. Jamar looks like he benches presses 1500 pounds and eats fitness trainers for breakfast! The man Is huge and looks quite intimidating, but he’s actually one of the most pleasant individuals I’ve met in a long time. Back to my review, as soon as I enter, he greets me and asked if there’s anything he can do to help me find what I’m looking for. I tell him I’m looking for tire shine and he directs me where to find it. As I begin to pay, he asks me if I’m a military veteran and I say yes. He says well let me add that military discount for you. I share with him how each time I visit this store I experience some of the best customer service around. He replies that I’m family, and that the store and its employees always take care of family. What can I say? The level of attention and dedication to his customer service impressed the heck out of me! This is why I bypass two other auto parts stores and instead buy my car needs from this store. They are always friendly, accommodating, helpful, and a really sincere bunch of guys. Jamar should be recognized and celebrated, he’s an asset to the corporation. Promote him immediately!

Very courteous and helpful. I came in to get an air filter but I wanted to make sure Advance had it first. Emily greeted me with a smile and looked up the filter. I was ready to go back and get it myself but she went back and grabbed it for me. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes! World class customer service!

My husband and I went to Advanced Auto to get freon for our truck. We had just dropped off our other car for issues and on the way home, I discovered the AC was blowing hot. They were very helpful getting us freon. The terrible thing happened when Darius was putting freon in the truck and my husband got dizzy and stumbled and fell onto the sidewalk. Two other employees, Elizabeth and Carter came to help. They called 911 and got cold water and something under his head. It was so hot and he was in the truck with no air for about 1 1/2 hours. He did come to and sit up and did not need 911. They took him inside to sit in a chair while they finished filling the truck. We live so close on 610 and they helped him to the truck. God Bless the employees there, so caring and concerned. They are good people! Forever gratefull!

Bad phone service. I call the store the first time. I was asked to wait. I waited for 16 minutes. No one came back to the phone. Called again And was put on hold yet again waited another 12 minutes. No one answered the phone. No one came back to the phone to let me know that they would be with me momentarily.

Employee (Rico) went above and beyond in replacing a battery in my vehicle. It was a difficult install but he took his time and got it done. As a disabled person I have to sometimes rely on the kindness of strangers. I thank God for Rico.

Went here to pick up an AC line they had in stock, when they rang it up it was $15 more than it was on the advanced app. I asked about it and they said that was for online orders only. I asked if I could just pay for it online then and take the hose and they said I can but would have to wait there for at least 30 minutes for them to get the confirmation that I paid for it. I asked if I could get it discounted down to that price there or get a 5 or 10% off and they said no, it’s in the fine print that price is for online only. Just irritating people with a rude and unprofessional attitude

I wanted to take the time to thank Keshawn at the Stafford VA location. He was very helpful in working with the GM at the North Charleston SC store on my behalf. Keshawn’s knowledge allowed for me to get my due refund for a 1 year old battery that went bad in which I had lost my receipt to. Keshawn was key in explaining to them why and how to assist me.

The worst online store pickup experience I have ever had anywhere. I ordered a battery and some misc items to have picked in 30mins. All the items where stated on the website to be in-stock and I received an email stating my order was ready for pickup. Store wasn’t closing until 6pm so I had time and arrived at 4:15pm. I get to the store and show my receipt for the pickup. The clerk tells me that my order was sent down the street to CarQuest because they didn’t have my battery in-stock. I’m confused because there was no instructions or notices in anything I received to tell me this. I ask about my other items, and the clerk informed me that the entire order was sent because of them not having the one item. Ridiculous, but ok where is this other store I ask. Was told it was a couple of blocks down the street. So I proceeded there and the store was closed. Why wouldn’t he tell me that. Poor execution across the board. I will have to be desperate to come back here again.

I stopped by this location today with a bad alternator. Carl, without hesitation began a two and a half hour long process of replacing my alternator in my ‘03 Acura after hearing news that my tow company could not get to me today. He continued to work through his lunch break as his determination to finish the job took over. I appreciate the help from Carl and the kindness from all of the staff at this location as they got me back in the road safely today! Thanks Carl I hope that Tomahawk Rib-eye SLAPPED.

I had been searching for a hard to find part for a week straight. One of the associates there was able to do some research and have it ready for me next day. Huge thanks to Donna, and I would HIGHLY recommend choosing this location for their customer service.

A very nice young, athletic man named mason helped me out so much. I didn’t know the difference between a head gasket and caliper, and he really clarified it for me. He also helped me get the parts I need for my vehicle, truly helpful. Great job Mason!

I always rely on this particular Advance Auto Parts store for parts that cost over $100. I returned a brand new alternator that didn’t fit on my car. Mel, an employee, approached me and handled my return situation in a respectful and timely manner. I was very impressed with the customer service and will definitely come back here in the near future. Keep it up.

I have recently visited this store multiple of times for new windshield wipers, scratch remover for my car, a battery for my key fob, and an emergency cord for my phone. The prices were reasonable. It seemed that the staff enjoyed working together, and customer service was great. They explained how to use the scratch remover and it worked perfect. I would definitely go back.

Considering the situation, the experience was exceptional. I needed a new battery and in literally took 15 minutes from the time I walked in until my battery was installed. I want to recognize the female employee on tonight! 01/21/19. She was awesome. I would definitely recommend this Advance Auto Parts to everyone I know.
