Ordered and paid for the EGR valve at home and traveled over 20 miles because the website said it was the closest store that had the part in stock, when we got to the store they said they could order it and we could pick it up the next day. We went across the street to O'Reilly's and they found the same part for less at their store just 8 miles from my home.

I went there on Saturday to get a new battery and they couldn’t change it because of the thunder so I proceed to go back the next day and the guy said that I was lied to because he said if they can’t change about within 15 minutes then they’re not able to do it And as he tried to take the battery out, he never tightened anything back so I wouldn’t go back to them

The manager was a huge help and had great customer service. I believe her name was Trella. Thanks so much for the great experience

I went to the AutoZone on Melrose avenue after ordering windshield wiper blades online went all the way to the AutoZone on Melrose Ave in Roanoke. Virginia. Online said right fit and of course they weren't.

Tried returning a fuel pump relay and was told they relay are black not blue but when when look up exact part that was charged popped up a blue relay

Cam has great customer service, very detailed when it came to looking for a specific part. If I could give a 10 star 🌟 I would. Other places gave me the run around on parts Cam was able to get it ordered

I had an amazing experience at AutoZone thanks to the store manager. She knew exactly what she was talking about and helped me find the perfect product for my truck. Not only that, but she went out of her way to help me install it right there in the parking lot! Her knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out. Honestly, she’s probably one of the best store managers this location has had in a long time. Highly recommend!

I always buy all of my parts at Auto Zone. I ordered a part for my car, unfortunately I had several personal issues which prevented me from picking up the part when it came In. When I did go to the store the manager was hateful and rude. Basically accusing me of picking it up and trying to get something for free. Now this has been going on for a long time. At this point how can I get a refund? I am I just stuck paying for something I never got? Regional involved but no resolution.

I just left at 5 on 09/22/24 I didn’t catch the names but everybody working was extremely helpful even helped me push my car to start. Amazing customer service thank yall.

The manager Truella is very rude to her employee. She was literally screaming at an employee in the font at the register about the shirt he was wearing which looked like everyone else’s. I felt sorry for this guy. She was very inappropriate and I am quite disgusted.

The black guy named Kentae, went above and beyond and helped me change my license plates and put my new tags on my car. Thank you so much I really needed the help. Hes a wonderful addition to your store! Very helpful. Thank you.

I had an excellent experience at the Roanoke Melrose store. Triella, the manager gave one on one customer service, was kind and patient, and provided education on the items purchased. Will be visiting the store for all my automotive needs!

Over all my experience has been good/ okay. Today was an awful experience. The long faced black man that is working alone this morning has a horrible attitude and had the nerve to one leave me standing outside the door at 7:30 he did not open the door until 5 mins later (" stating he will not open the door until he is done with his work when he is alone") two this man also yells at me while someone else was in the store (a witness to his horrible service) about how he could not come outside to do a service check for my car because " they told him he could not go outside if he was the only one at work". I explained to him I was recently helped by him (two weeks ago) and this was not policy. This was a horrible experience.

Parts sales manager, Amanda S. was amazing in not only ordering my O2 sensor but assisting in reviewing my check engine light then resting the light also. Great care for her customers. ❤️ I thank God for her, and her caring when I needed help. Thanks Amanda, thanks Auto Zone.

The Auto Zone at Melrose Avenue of Roanoke. Has very experience in customer service. Last time I start by there. They try to profile me on the spot. Cause they were nervous. Had asked me to remove my personal belongs, a sealed up cross bag and leave it upfront. By Virginia business code. They should had posted a sign for customers to clearly verify guidelines for their customers. Very unprofessional and felt targeted as a criminal. If I needed things. I will comfortably work for it. Vividly it was not much customers inside at the time. I will not visit this Auto Zone nor recommend their services.

A bit more expensive than Advanced Auto, but at least the clerk was knowledgeable and they had what I needed in stock. He also found a couple of discounts to help on the cost. Definitely will go there again.

WOW, cashier acted as if we were “bothering” her, she could not answer ANY of our questions, she told us she could not “physically” carry the car battery and told us we had to install the new battery ourselves. Rude, not helpful AT ALL. Thank goodness my husband used to work at an AutoZone, years ago and knew what the heck he was doing. She couldn’t even look up a part online without his help-so my question is, why have employees that don’t want to work and have no idea what’s going on?

Great store, everyone is very friendly & there for you if need help!!! Candace in commercial sales is the best as she has so much to handle with different shops although she is always a step ahead getting the parts sent to everyone asap!!! I know she has been a pleasure dealing with when I call her for parts from the shop I work at she gets it ordered if not at store and has it to me the next day!!! Thank you especially when it's for my car I know I'm in excited mode yet you are able to keep up with me!!! also big thank you to the drivers that get parts out fast!!!

Excellent service! Needed a battery. They came out to the car in the icy rain, tested and replaced it. Associate very friendly and informative, and helped me get some other parts I was looking to order too. Wish i could give higher than five stars!

Not sure of her name but she is one of the managers at Auto Zone on Melrose Ave. in Roanoke, VA. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, she even installed the light I bought for the back of my vehicle. I'm so greatfull she did that!! Definitely a great employee!!
