Broke down on the highway towing our 47 foot toyhauler. Called a bunch of Chevy garages. Couldn’t work on our truck or was too busy. Someone gave us the number to this place and they were more than helpful! Hunter diagnosed the problem and got us fixed up and on the road! Highly recommend!
After taking my company vehicle to several diesel service centers around town, these guys did what I needed. They followed the instructions that I had when doing all my service work. Others didn't do what I asked, and in the long run, it cost me more money.
The employees are nice, professional and care about the work they do. Doing the work right the first time is what everyone wants and they do just that.
Dad & I have been bringing our work trucks to this place for decades. I’ll even come out of my way to come to this place driving all the way from Lynchburg. This is one of the few places I actually trust to do a good job & do it right
“Extremely disappointed with Wood’s Fleet Service. Took my vehicle in for what should have been a quick repair, but it ended up taking much longer than promised. They kept changing the completion date, and communication was terrible—I had to call repeatedly for updates. When I finally got my vehicle back, I noticed they hadn’t even addressed one of the issues I initially mentioned. I was also shocked at the high price for the level of service I received. I wouldn’t trust them again and definitely wouldn’t recommend Wood’s Fleet Service to anyone.”
Very nice guys. Helped my mom file so her insurance would pay for the tow bill & also came up with a way to cover the storage bill with no out of pocket cash ! Couldn't ask for better!
My company truck broke down. I was took my truck to thier shop, and they tried everything to get me up and running again. The problem couldn't be solved. It's a Holiday weekend, and I couldn't get an Uber, or a Cab. Tony, gave me a ride to the hotel in his personal vehicle. Cam, and Zach, treated me like a brother. And being on the road and stranded, that means a lot. My company got me a Rental.. and Kim Wood, sent someone to the shop so I could pick up my empty trailer. These People are Awesome, and treat Everyone with class,dignity and respect.
One of the few truck service centers that has been honest, timely and effective on repairs. They tow it in, fix it with little or no wait time and call you to let you know when it's done. Very surprising how uncommon this is for truck service. Since down time on my trucks usually costs more than the repairs these are my most important qualities. The price being at or below average is a bonus
The best help I ever got on the road. I broke down in Ronoke VA I-81. Towing arrived at 3am. I was gonna go to freightliner and lose the whole weekend there probably more but the towing guy Kevin told me he could bring me to this place and replace my turbo same day. And that what happened. Good people got me back on the road. They didn’t charge much for the towing also even the state trooper called them. I feel fortunate ending up over here. Thanks to Eric and the good mechanics in the shop.
This place it’s fantastic. When traveling to Florida in a budget truck that left us stuck with a cel and unable to continue our truck we were directed here. Eric wasn’t expecting us and already had a pile of work but with 45min he had the problem diagnosed and parts installed and we were back on track to the sunshine state. Eric went above and beyond to ensure we got amazing service. This is a trustworthy place for sure. Thanks again Eric. For the service and the soda 😬
My rig decided to try and eat itself, coming over I-81, and took out the oil system for good measure. KY (and later another tech as well, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall) from Woods Service responded, did his utmost to work on the truck to get it ready for towing - ultimately it turned out that a manufacturer issue made things more difficult than necessary.
Not only did he help arrange things for my trailer to be picked up, but he took time out of his trip back to his house to make sure my teammate and I got to a motel.
Outstanding service, genuinely good folks who will go, literally, the extra mile to help you out. I cannot recommend them enough.
The gentleman who came to tow me was there when the dispatcher said he would and was very courteous helping me into his truck and getting information I could not find on my own.
