He helped me out super fast and got me exactly what I needed...nice to know people (William) enjoys helping customers that's the key to customer retention...William is an asset to Advance Auto Parts!!! A+ customer service and willing to think outside of the computer!!
The person up front was courteous and professional they helped me put my wiper blades on and even told me to apply there if wanted a job when I asked if they were hiring
I took my SUV , told man lights keep coming on dashboard & slow starting. The men connected and test the alternator and battery and starter. Told me I needed a new battery. $235 got new battery, A week later lights flashing and slow starting. Took Firestone. " Needed Alternator" . wasted $235 . WHY test my SUV and than take $235. He was WRONG . So UPSET About this problem with trusting Advanced Auto.
Very friendly and helpful staff Thank you so much I bought windshield wipers and he put them on very quickly and had me to try them and they worked great buy one and get the second one for free so thank you so much..
Peters creek/melrose Location Tuesday morning 10/24 Guy was extremely rude. I came in to ask some questions and he shouted his answers in a way that he seemed annoyed I was asking questions. I know some men can be gruff so i tried not to assume he was being rude at first. He was talking to me VERY loudly so at first I just assumed maybe hes hard of hearing so I also talked loudly...not with an attitude just matching HIS volume. Then out of nowhere he angrily tells me to lower my voice SO I just left Ill buy my part somewhere else after that!!!!! You may want to hire someone les rude. Idk if he acted like that bc im a female asking a few questions about how to do a repair or if he was just having a bad day but I imagine you've had other complaints about him if hes always like that so here's another one!!! If he was just having a bad day and isnt always like that then I hope whatever hes going through that it gets better.
Peters Creek and Melrose location. Replaced the battery for the 3rd time in 2 years. The employees are great. If you need it, they'll find it. And no issues at all with the battery issue.
Bought wipers, and window tint app. Installed the wipers, decided to take back the window tint app. the next day. Tossed my reciept when I put the wipers on. When I tried to return window tint app. they have no record of me buying it. Said they could refund me $11 on $16+ window tint applicator package?!!! I really thought the reason I give Advance Auto my phone # was for returns, warranty info, etc. I wasn't satisfied with this interaction at all.
I ended up buying a fog light here in order to have it put into the car so I could pass the inspection on the car. I went to the inspection place and they couldn't put the light in because the problem with the fog light wasn't the missing bulb. It was that there wasn't even a socket for the fog light to be put in on the side I was trying to replace it on. Removed the other side and got it inspected. A bit embarrassing, anyway. Pretty fast customer service here, probably the fastest return on a car part I've ever had.
We stopped in to this location to see if they could connect to our OBD reader in my sister’s car. They first very rudely sad no, didn’t care to elaborate and when I pried for information they said due to COVID-19. Fair enough. But then while we downloaded an app to do it ourselves and were checking out fluids to see what could cause the check engine light to sporadically turn on, the same employee whom I was led to believe was a supervisor of sorts came asked us if we needed any help. After I reiterated why we were there and told her that I understand they can’t do it but was it okay if we could stay a few mins to run the diagnostics ourselves, because if something was awry we were planning on purchasing what we needed in order to fix the issue, she didn’t say anything at all. Was not just flat out rude but downright hateful for no reason whatsoever. I don’t ever leave reviews but I figure this uncalled for episode warranted me publicly exposing the unsatisfactory customer service at this particular location. Auto zone is right up the street and I pass another Advanced on the way home. Save a waste of a trip and avoid this location.
Encountered a very rude employee at this location. A new employee advised why we were all waiting and the experienced could care less. When we were finally helped by the third employee he was friendly, but it still doesn't excuse the first employee being so rude.
They never seem to get it right the first time when you provide them with automobile details and sometimes the part to be replaced. Why is that?
It’s the same no matter what state you’re located. Sometimes (I say that cautiously ) you may find the right person with auto knowledge to give you the right part.
Customer service is great , my battery got check be nice staff and also installed my battery with my Veterans discount well pleased think I'll do more business with them for my auto parts. Thanks Advance Auto.
I know we all have are Bad days. Some of us more then others. So on that being said the employees @ A.O.P are Friendly I'VE seen it first hand. On How they Treat their customers.. Thanks for making my visit there@ A.O.P. Quick and easy now. They're NOT trying to get you out as quick as the can. THANKS GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.. But not everybody may receive service like that.
Great knowledgeable personnel but was super busy at the time I was there and lines were slow moving(I know first world problems). They were also out of alot of the on sale oils.
Again, if you make an online order you can apply a discount code. This cannot be done in store. On this trip, I ordered online, applied my discount code and went in person to the store to pick up. Once there, I found another part I needed and they cannot add to an existing order to be able to apply the discount for what I found in store. So, at the parts counter, I used my phone to order the part I found inside the store, used my discount code and completed as a second purchase... It just seems to me that adding to the first order would be much simpler, but Advance Auto Parts wants to do it the difficult way... Seems like to me simplier is better and makes for more repeat customers. I will continue to order online, and then go to store and pickup until they come up with an easier method to satisfy the customers.
