Bought a 2018 Toyota Highlander from Braxton at Fast Lane Auto in August 2025. The entire process was the smoothest I have ever experienced with purchasing a car. Braxton was completely honest and up front about everything on the vehicle. Fast Lane Auto does a wonderful job with purchasing quality and reliable inventory, and I would recommend them to friends and family without a doubt. tldr: This was our 18th car purchase and was in the top 3 without doubt. I will be checking Fast Lane Auto first when looking for a used car in the future! We need a reliable and affordable vehicle and that is not something that is easy to find at this point in time. My son saw that Fast Lane Auto had several Toyota RAV4's for sale. He sent a message via Facebook and Braxton answered him quickly. He was very accommodating and friendly. We told Braxton that we were going to get there fairly closing but he told us that it was not an issue. Very welcoming, friendly and honest. He asked questions to make sure that he knew what we were looking for and took the time to answer questions and offer information about the cars on he had for sale. We found a great Volvo V70 that fit our needs better than the RAV4 for sale. Braxton made sure to point out that the car had some damage on one tire. I would not have noticed it without him pointing it out to us. He offered to take care of the tire and one other small thing and have the car ready for us on a Friday evening. The second key was at another location and we were not able to drive out to Powhatan for several days so I asked Braxton if he could mail the key. Instead of trusting the USPS, Braxton drove out to our house and brought the key. I know this review is long but I could go on even longer about how much I enjoyed this typically arduous task.

I went to go see a Jeep on the lot they had. I was impressed when I spoke to Braxton that he had been speaking to a man who asked him to hold it for him til Sarurday. He said this knowing I had the money to buy it then and there. The man was loyal to his word. I didnt press the issue. It left a very good impression to me. He had another jeep there. I took it for a test drive and it was great. He even threw in some extra goodies that he didnt have to. The gentlemen there working at his shop were very nice and polite even helpful as I was driving the jeep around their lot testing out the 4wd. I had a good feel for the people there that they were good folks. I also got a very fair deal on my vehicle. While I was there looking the vehicle over there were lots of people driving by beeping as they passed. He even helped a man that his vehicle overheated. You dont get that type of adoration in the community by being unfair. I recomend these guys and would go back to do business again.

I bought a used vehicle, the service was great. I have never felt better at a used car lot. The dealership is transparent, they are very patient and helpful with the entire process.

Poor customer service and communication. Told him we were a 1.5 hour drive, set a time to see the car, notified him our ETA. We make it there and he tells us someone else who he "thought was me" is test driving the car. I'm clearly a female and it's two men that he's referring to. He proceeds to sell the car right in front of us. No test drive, no chance to make a counter-offer. Pulled a "I hate to do this but...". I get you want the sale but communication and honesty goes a long way. A quick update is all we needed and maybe we wouldn't have wasted all that time. Will not be buying (or considering) from him or Fast Lane Auto.

We drove an hour to meet with Braxton to look at a vehicle. Top tier customer service. Process was easy and painless. If you're looking for a used vehicle this is your guy. Honest and not pushy.

My expectations were far exceeded, great place to buy a car. I will recommend Fast Lane Auto to anyone looking for a car and will buy another one from here in the future. Braxton was great to work with and very helpful, very transparent on pricing and fees, and I feel like he looked out for my best interest and gave me a very fair deal. I'd give 6 stars out of 5 if that was possible!!

Bought a 2013 Mazda Miata MX-5 with low miles and working with Fast Lane Auto was a stress free process. Both Zack and Braxton were responsive, polite and professional. I was a little hesitant as this wasn't your traditional big box car dealer but honestly these guys cut through all the red tape and get you into the car you want quickly and seamlessly! I've bought 5 cars in the past 5 years and this was best experience yet. I highly recommend checking out their inventory as it quickly turns over and if you see something you like these guys will work with you to get you what you want. I honestly didn't know the car buying experience could be so easy. 10/10 After a tree fell on and totaled my Yaris, I was in dire need of a vehicle, fast. After getting frustrated with the costs associated with buying (used car prices, plus taxes and fees, financing, etc..), I resorted to browsing Facebook for something within the 6k range. Seemed like a long shot, but I need something fast. I stumbled upon Braxton's profile and noticed how highly rated he was and figured I would look deeper into it. I simply messaged him and said he could meet me the next day. He happily provided the VIN and Carfax details beforehand, as well as explained his simple purchasing process. My dad and I took the plunge and drove up to Powhatan to view the Rav4 I ended up buying that same day. When we arrived, we were greeted with the nicest smile and a genuinely happy attitude. He and his business partner have a passion for this and it really shows in how they treated us. We were given full access to the vehicle, were told we could test drive it as long as needed, and that if there was anything we were concerned about, we could talk more and find solutions. They pick their stock carefully and do a great job of tuning everything up before listing at prices way below the typical MSRP. After test driving, I was able to purchase the car outright using my credit card... what?! Additionally, he was able to title the car and give me temporary tags in under 20 minutes! Overall, I spent less than an hour at the lot, which is unheard of. The last time I bought at CarMax, I was there for 5 hours. They stated that they wanted to make the overall experience for the customer as easy as possible, which is absolutely what they did for me. Braxton said if anything popped up with the car that was out of the ordinary, we would do the right thing and look it over for me. I am highly recommending them to anyone and everyone who is in the market for a car. These guys are smart, hardworking, passionate, and ready to help you. I just bought my first truck with Fastlane and it’s been great. I have never experienced better customer service in my life than I have with them, had a small issue with the vehicle and they came to me at work, picked it up and fixed it and brought it back to me no questions asked. Great people and I highly encourage going and checking them out, they deserve your business!

Bought a 2005 Toyota sienna with low mileage. Got a great deal. Brought my dogs in their office. Drove it around and it drives extremely smoothly. Excited to use this car for the next few years.

Braxton is great, we have bought more than one vehicle from him. All have been in great shape, clean, and are exactly what he says. These guys know what they are doing for sure. I appreciate all the honesty from them. Will be sending friends and family to them! Great young man

Purchased a 4 wheeler. The process was super easy and they guys were nice enough. I thought the price was kind of high but they assured me that the price was right for the 4 wheeler. I’ve never bought one before and this is why I wanted to go to an actual car lot instead of through someone. I thought it would be more trustworthy. Easier. Got home and it stopped working the next day. They told me there was no warranty on it after it’s sold. Took it to Sorenspeed here in Powhatan and they’re amazing. Fixed it right up. But that cost me almost another $600 on top of what I already overspent initially. Sorenspeed did a deep look and the tires are dry rotted and not newer. The calipers were locked up. All of the brake lines were from 1999 and clogged. The rear bushings had to be replaced. Among a ton of other stuff. I reached out to Fast Lane but they have ignored me. The four wheeler was fine but it is now immobile again. Sorenspeed is trying their best to figure out everything that is going on but it looks like the guys at Fast Lane literally bought it at the auction, maybe did a quick glance, replaced one thing and then said “welp. It’s good enough.” I feel like a damn sucker and wanted to go to a local place that wouldn’t lie for a quick sale. I guess it’s on me for not being super knowledgeable in all things automotive. But that’s what they’re supposed to be there for.

They need to be more up front about the things they are selling. Any advice i have to future prospective buyers is to come in with at least a general knowledge of cars or just bring a mechanic with you and save the hassle. They sold a junk four wheeler to my best friend and refuse to acknowledge it. My husband who owns his own mechanic shop has spent hours trying to get this thing to be a safe vehicle to drive. They were told that it was worth the price and it most certainly was not. If they had just been more upfront it could have saved her a lot of money.

My wife purchased a 4 wheeler and it broke the next day. I called the guys to see what they could do since she’s had to put more money into something that we were told “it’s good to go.” They had the nerve to tell me that “since she drove off they won’t cover anything.” Yes, because her riding 10 mph with it on the way home really is going to break it. They also didn’t make sure there was gas in it before she left and she ran out of gas on the way home and had to pull over into someone’s yard while I went home and grabbed the gas can. They lied to my wife. This was her first 4 wheeler purchase and she was so excited to finally get one. They told us “you should’ve brought a mechanic with you.. I’m not a mechanic.” Then you shouldn’t have told us it was good to go!! Fast Lane flips automobiles apparently since they can’t actually look at them from a mechanics point of view or work on them. They told us they replaced the carborrator on the 4 wheeler but our mechanic said “yeah, but they didn’t replace it with a good one like the original one was.” Fast lane is not trustworthy.

I’ve been searching for many months for an affordable car I can enjoy. I came across two vehicles near me at the same dealership that I was curious about so I drove out to see them. I met Braxton who was forthcoming with information, trusting, & generally fun to speak with. I test drove one vehicle which turned out not the be the vehicle for me. The 2nd vehicle that caught my curious nature was a sale “in progress” & sold before I returned from my test drive (Braxton had advised me prior it already had a buyer). He then pointed me to another vehicle which I really enjoyed that was currently being worked on. I spent over two hours at the lot, was treated with respect and kindness, no haggling or pressure to buy, & I’m looking forward to returning as soon as I can to see what’s new. This is how car shopping should be!

In general, I never buy vehicles from dealers, and advise others to not do so either, for what I assume are obvious reasons. With Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, we have an endless array of options for pretty much whatever we want to buy, from private parties. In this scenario, when it comes to a car, as neither the buyer nor the seller is a professional in auto retailing, they operate on a reasonably level playing field, as opposed to the buyer feeling like a target for manipulation by a sales expert, regarding such a major purchase. I had been looking for a particular classic truck for some time, and the ones offered by private parties either didn’t measure up to what was described, or had major repairs needed or coming up, than even the owners were aware of (revealed in pre-purchase inspections by mechanics that I paid for). Then, one dealer - Fast Lane Auto, more than an hour away from me - had what looked like the truck I was looking for, that they claimed was owned by only one person, until a few weeks earlier, and appeared to have been immaculately maintained. Before I was willing to drive the 1+ hour to take a look, Braxton sent me the CarFax report, proving that it was a one-owner vehicle. He also took pictures at my request, showing specific areas of the frame and suspension, and answered all my questions promptly. I came out to take a look, after he agreed to allow me to take the truck to a nearby mechanic (of my choice) to have a pre-purchase inspection, which it passed with flying colors. Braxton and his partner, Zack, were 100% customer-focused in all phases of the sales process, which is impressive in any business these days. For a small car dealership, operated by two guys as young as they are, to have this kind of business savvy and integrity, was really inspiring. They explained how careful they are in checking out the vehicles they purchase, to ensure the function properly. They are obviously in the business of making money, but they are doing it the right way: by serving the customer with great attentiveness and candor, and providing the actual value they are offering. In the end, I bought this classic truck from them, and in the three weeks I’ve had it, have been absolutely delighted. I can’t say enough about my positive experience buying a used car from Fastlane Auto. Braxton took excellent care of me and got me out the door with a “new to me” set of wheels in no time. I spent A LOT of time looking at over 65 cars and traveling to personally see over 20 cars. It's tuff finding a really good vehicle in that $10,000ish range. I spent 10 yrs in the car business in Massachusetts. It was time to find my Daughter a really Good used car. I can not say enough about the through description of the car we bought over the phone before I drove 3.5 hrs from the last disappointment of a dealership. The car was as describe to me. More importantly it was in Really good mechanical shape. The process was without pressure and happened very quickly. Even the Doc fee wasn't a complete rip off . Like everyone else's. If my daughter didn't like this one he had 3 other types of Really good options that we would have been happy buying. Drove 3 hours from MD and purchase a 2011 Ford Mustang GT Premium from these guys. They were honest and easy to communicate and negotiate with. The car buying process was easy and we were out the door in under an hour. We were comfortable knowing what we were walking out the door with and at the right price. Honesty is the most important factor in the used car buying market. We signed multiple papers acknowledging that the dealer was not offering a warranty and that it was an “as is” sale.

Wow! Talk about the consummate professional! My wife and I went to five different dealerships and felt like we were being lied to the whole time.
