Talked with Dave and Austin about a new battery for my car, and both were very helpful and professional. Austin tested my battery and alternator first. After I decided to get a replacement, he took time to explain the different options and willingly installed the new battery. Austin was efficient and professional throughout the entire process - very knowledgeable and great customer service!

Two employees there. Both Eating at cash register. Mobile order wrong , had to bring to their attention. There just for a paycheck. No Customer service

Terrible customer service. Literally asked for help and was given a sheet of piece of paper and told to figure it out myself. Went across the street to Oreilly’s, where I was greeted upon entering the store and a technician automatically came outside to address my concern. Advanced Auto dismissed me and were not helpful.

I came by today for a battery problem and talked to Austin who was very responsive and helpful. He explained the battery options and took care of installing it better than I have ever done myself. I would ignore any bad reviews and ask for Austin if he is available. I rate his all around attitude and the quality of his work a perfect 5!

Tried to borrow tools to repair my truck. Was told $469 for the 2 tools we needed to borrow. Went to O'Reilly across the street and it was $252 instead. Seems like they are way overpriced but they were still kind. Just not gonna be taken advantage of and that's what I felt they were doing

The young man at the counter greeted me when I walked in. Asked what I needed. He walked me over to the light bulbs and was helping me figure which one to get. I did not get his name. ☹️. Great customer service!!

Staff was rude about me doing a return since I bought it from a different location. They did the return but were extremely rude even though advanced auto policy is that I can return to any location. I don’t live in the town I bought it in so I just returned it to my local one where I buy all of my other car parts. Wont be shopping at this location anymore though.

Employees are only half helpful. Husband order someone into the store. Someone cancled his order and misplaced the item. Took 20 min to find then charged us full price instead of online price we ordered it for.

Do you like being treated with disrespect? Do you like old grumpy men that peaked in high school treating you like a burden for showing up at their store when you obviously have several options for auto parts within a five mile radius? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your integrity questioned by a complete stranger that works for a large commercial conglomerate that could care less if your return is opened or not properly put back in its sealed package. Do you want to be berated for buying cheap junk from china and then scolded for having the audacity to ask for a refund when it fails? Well you are in luck, head down to this Advanced auto and see Buddy, unlike his name he will treat you like a menace to society…or how I image he treats his kinfolk when they come over for the holidays.

If I could give zero stars I would. I waited 3-4 minutes for the one kid who wasn't doing anything to raise his head from the screen and nod me over. After announcing my total (the only time he spoke until then) $37 and change. Was informed he couldn't break a $50!?! The parts store across the street had no problem and was cheaper! Stay away if you want anything close to customer service.

Once again disappointed at Advance Auto Parts it seems like every time I go to one I'm reminded why I've had done business with Napa or AutoZone. When in with a friend to pick up some Freon and a lady was in line waiting for a good 15min two of the worker we're outside trying to get on bag out of a trash can. This is not the 1st time I've call amd they say a part is a Factory item only then I call autozone and they have it the bad part it was just a belt.

Good staff and the store is clean. However, the online "in stock" feature is worthless. Drove here specifically for the purpose of buying something that they said they had when other stores didn't. Of course, it wasn't there.

I like they can look you up by phone number so I can return the battery core later. Also had a hard to find battery I needed for a generator. Great place.

I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at advance auto parts with a associate named Jennifer. I was trying to purchase a battery and was being charged a core fee of 22 dollars I simply as a Coustmer asked why I would be charged one and she had a attitude and said you want to buy a battery or not?? Horrible person I also will be calling corporate on her

Masks were not being required even though they had signs on the door stating that they would be. The setup of the store made social distancing extremely difficult. We went to this store specifically because the website said that they had the parts we needed, but when we got there the guy said that they didn't have it after "looking" for about 15 seconds. It also seemed that we were inconveniencing him when we were ready to check out. We ended up going to a competitor and got our parts. I will never go to this store again!

One of the managers, Cody, has no business running a store and provides a poor example to his staff relating to how to treat customers. Additional training or demotion is warranted. Very rarely have I had such a poor customer service experience. I will take my business elsewhere moving forward.

Went there today for a battery for truck. The manager (LISA) was most helpful showing me how to order it with my phone while I was there. She was patient and walked me thru it. It saved me $35.00. Thank you LISA.

I usually go here to get random parts for vehicles, I got a crankshaft position sensor that is non returnable after installation. The part was bad and I replaced it with one from Napa Auto and the car runs fine now.

You can find just about anything you need for mild maintenance on your vehicle. They can diagnose your car's computer for free and they install batteries and wipers at no cost if you buy them there. Oil and filter prices are a bit steep though. The staff aren't overly friendly here, but I guess it's hard to be excited about auto parts.

Went in to have batteries in my diesel truck checked after they large white male with his arms crossed leaning on the counter blew a couple sighs and mumbled how much he hated to check batteries pawned it off on the young black man who came out and checked determine One battery to be bad he turned around went back in the store after about 5 minutes I return in the store for them to ask if they could help me with something I said yes what's the deal with the batteries told battery would be $105 I asked about the warranty on the batteries that were in the truck since they have been purchased previously at the same store which they could not find record of that they were out of warranty I grit my teeth anytime I have to go in that store so glad AutoZone opened up the street Paul the manager(advance Auto don't even get me started about Bill) is easy to deal with if he happens to be there or available would not recommend going there to buy anyting take the extra minute to go to AutoZone less than a mile away

Bill at the Powhatan store was so helpful and courteous. When I called to see if they had the battery I needed in stock he suggested I buy it online so I could take advantage of the online discount. Then, because I am handicapped, I asked if I could call him from the car when I got to the store, so I would not have to hobble in. He agreed, and when I got there he had the battery installed within 10 minutes. Great price ($136 installed vs $225 for dealer) and wonderful service. Highly recommended and yes, I will return.

Helpful, friendly staff. Great selection and good prices. Location is easy to see from the road and the parking lot is clean and well laid out. Store interior is well organized and well stocked.

Went in for windshield wipers. They said they'd install them. Got the passenger side on fine but had a lot of problems with driver's side. Even "had" to straighten out the arm. Still couldn't get it on saying the arm was damaged. Finally back up came to help him. They first guy grabbed the wrong driver's side blade. SMH.

Good help but over priced. Oil was $9.99 a quart and at Wal-Mart it was $7.99. Sea Foam was $12.99 and buy 1 get 50% the 2nd, and at Wal-Mart it is $6.99 all the time.
