This was a simple emissions test and they kept it so. They are always extremely polite. Yes, almost always a line of cars for fuel, but at their prices it makes total sense. Besides, seriously, what ia a couple more minutes to save a few dollars. At a minimum, give them a try for an oil change or fuel.
I’m a local repeat customer to this place and I can tell you it’s the most reliable and honest place I been to. I had an old car when I couldn’t offer a new one, they took my business and did “mechanical patch repairs” till I got on my feet. now I drive a new car, still take my car there for regular oil change etc...

Gas is cheap there, but it is already cheap at many gas stations in Annadale. Never, ever stop by for service. High price and terrible service quality.
They usually have the cheapest gas prices within the surrounding area. But so far, on all the times I went, their actual price on the pump stations is 3-4 cents higher than what they show on their neon sign.

The safety inspector at this A1 Auto Service ( Ana ) is belligerent and will fail a vehicle that is in perfect working order. Find another shop that is honest in their business practice and save yourselves the headache of being swindled. This used to be our "goto" for safety inspections, but since Bill sold the business a couple of years ago it has steadily declined and we'll not be returning after being rejected for power steering unit failure when it is in perfect operable order. I've been forced to burn two days in bringing the "rejected" car to two other shops to verify Inspector Ana's Claim and both shops could not locate any issues with our vehicle. When we confronted Ana with our findings and requested she reinspect she accused us of having made repairs elsewhere!!!???!!!! Not an amiable or kind person at all. We're elderly and were treated in an offensive manner and disgusted with her rude and accusatory behavior.
My search on social media reviews revealed that this is a common complaint with this business ( yelp ), three other consumers have shared similar experiences with this business which leads me to believe the business is being run dishonestly to garner unnecessary repair work.
Save yourself the headaches and find an honest and reputable service station.
