I had a great experience at Mavis-NTB in Charlottesville. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell anything I didn’t need, and got my vehicle in and out faster than expected.
It’s hard to find an auto service shop you can truly trust, but these guys are honest, knowledgeable, and fair with their pricing. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was top-notch.
If you need tires or any auto service, I highly recommend them.
I went in with a slow leak in my tires. They were able to work me in (without an appointment) and determine the underlying problem quickly. Nick and team were very nice and kept me informed throughout the process.
I had a nail in my tire that was too close to the rim for a normal patching so i needed a whole new tire. They explained everything to me and order a new tire. I dropped my car off the next day on my way to work and it was ready for me when I came back. As someone who doesn't know much about cars they were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic! We needed a new belt and were stranded. Got a tow and into the shop and they had us out in less than 2 hours! Everyone was kind and really easy to work with. The service was affordable. Overall great experience!
I was fit in last minute for my alternator and battery dying. They originally said to come in a few days but called me back when they had an opening last minute. It didn’t take as long as I thought and I was treated kindly and they went over and beyond to help me. I’ll definitely be coming back for repairs.

1st in,1st out is their policy for state inspections.Arived at 7 ,they open at 8.I was 1st in.Its now 11:45 and I still haven't gotten my inspection.
The best experience I’ve ever had getting work done on my vehicle. Nick was knowledgeable, patient, kind and earnest, and the team generally felt more willing to actually help you than most other places. 100% will be back again, the NTB on Rio is my new go to!

The team focuses on ensuring that all of my vehicle’s needs are addressed. They also make me feel like a valued guest. The interior and exterior are both well maintained.
I called last minute on NYE to find a tire for my bmw, however the rim was damaged, unable to secure a rental due to the holiday, they were accommodating in getting me back on the road until the replacement wheel arrived. When there was a mistake made at shipping Donald Eley (not his usual store, but worked in my favor) and Hayden (one of the managers) went above and beyond with not just repair but replacement of my current rims and a tire—an additional tire I wasn’t aware of that had substantial damage—I was exhausted and Donald his self, expressed diligence and concern for my safety more than I was willing to do for myself. Replaced TPMS sensors quoted $1600 at the BMW dealership for less than the price of an expensive entree. As a business they aren’t required to care to the extent they have, and I express my gratitude.
Picked up a screw in my 3 day old tire while out of town ? Nick and Adam worked me into their busy schedule, on a Saturday no less, and had me back on the road in no time (no plug needed). Adam also reset my TPWS which was malfunctioning due to an under inflated spare (you were right Nick). Adam took care of everything quickly and showed his high level of experience and expertise. Thanks guys!!! Only regret is these guys aren’t local to me.
The service here is amazing! We were traveling home over a holiday weekend and unfortunately our tire got completely shredded on the drive. The team (Adam, Page, Fernando and Steve) fit us in right before closing on a Saturday evening and replaced two of our tires in 20 minutes! We wouldn’t have made the rest of our 7 hour drive home without their help. Thank you!!
I am from Houston I called the evening before Thanksgiving Eve. The manager was so polite and I told him my problem he said no problem come in the morning and we will get you taken care of. They did just that the staff was amazing everyone was kind and so attentive. Made sure I was comfortable while I waited. They are excellent and I appreciate them very much. Highly recommended.
The guys here are great and work great as a team. They work as efficiently as they can while staying pretty busy! Awesome job and thanks for getting my car done in a timely manner!
Adam at NTB got me in for a weekend aligment on my suv. His team worked great and had my alignment done in 45 mins which was great! My car drives so much better! I would recommend them!!
I take my vehicles here for tires. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful the team at this location is every time. They have helped me patch tires, change tires and are exceptionally priced when it comes to new tires. They are fair, professional, and timely in the work they conduct. Special shout out to Adam and Page for always answering my questions and being so accommodating. They deserve 5 stars for 10 years of great service.
I have been here twice due to flat tires. People here are warm, helpful and do the best of their job. Their repair was fast and quality of service was excellent, but prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Very quick and professional service. I required the wheel alignment service urgently after installing new tires on a Saturday and got an appointment for Sunday morning. Total service time was 1 hour and they re- torqued the lug nuts free of cost. They also provided detailed specs on the service and are very accommodating even if you arrive without an appointment. Also, The staff are super helpful and give a detailed breakdown of service costs so you know what you are paying for.

I needed some work on a tire for a screw/bolt that had become embedded. I discovered this problem on a Saturday evening, so I'm grateful that this place is open on Sundays. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the work was completed efficiently and relatively quickly. Would recommend to anyone who needs work done on their car.
All the staff members are so friendly! It’s so easy to make an appointment and get in quickly. Great prices and work is always done well. Before and after headlight restoration!
