Car had a problem related to the battery needing to be replaced on a Sunday. Had Mopar Road Assistance tow it to McGee's and they had it fixed for me on Monday. Car works great and I'm very happy with the experience.

Parts were back ordered two weeks. They had no loaner for me. Luckily Devin in sales came to the rescue. Took about a week and half but I had a loaner. They didn’t explain why or what they did to my vehicle but my extended warranty covered all but $100. Four stars mostly because it’s fixed and it was cheap. Everyone is nice there but explaining what was done and why things happened or maybe some idea would be helpful going forward.

Less than 1 star! I sent my vehicle there for check engine light that was on. Vehicle has only 38,000 miles on it. They first tell me it’s going to be four to six weeks before all the parts are in and it can be repaired. Less than a week later they text me and tell me it’s done. All the parts were apparently in stock. All the work has been done and the light is out. I pick it up and go approximately three miles down the road and the check engine light comes back on and now the ABS light comes on as well. I call them immediately and they say oh sorry that happened to you. I can’t get it back in until next week Friday! They should have had me turn around and bring it right back. However, they really acted as if they didn’t want to deal with it at all! Really poor attitudes!

McGee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram — 1 Star I purchased my Jeep from this dealership less than two years ago, and it passed inspection last year with no problem because I maintain my vehicle responsibly. When my dash lights recently came on, I scheduled a visit expecting the “free inspections for life” that McGee advertises and a straightforward fix to a likely wheel bearing, tie rod, or sway bar link — a simple issue that would have cleared the sensor and allowed the Jeep to pass inspection. Instead, the service department refused to honor the free inspection and immediately pushed a $159.99 diagnostic I did not ask for. That diagnostic was not only unwanted, but also unhelpful. It produced a vague, uncertain list of “possible” issues without even identifying the source of a leak. From there, I was handed an absurd $6,000 repair estimate — nearly the value of the entire vehicle — and the conversation was quickly steered toward buying a new car rather than addressing the basic, obvious repair I originally came in for. As a customer who actually purchased my vehicle here, I expected honesty and support — not predatory upselling, evasive answers, and a manipulative laundry list designed to scare me into unnecessary repairs or a new purchase. Jonah, my service advisor, was complicit in this approach, and the entire experience felt dismissive, deceptive, and entirely profit-driven. To make matters worse, a personal item from my console mysteriously disappeared during the visit, which only reinforced my loss of trust. I left feeling exploited instead of helped. After this experience, I will never return, and I would strongly encourage other customers to think twice before trusting this service department with their vehicle, their wallet, or their peace of mind. Traveling through Vermont on summer vacation, my Jeep Grand Cherokee needed an oil change. In looking online, I found McGee Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer nearby. The Service Manager, Jonnah, was great. Got my vehicle in quickly, completed the oil change and ensured everything was good. Very friendly and helpful staff at McGee. I would definitely recommend them.

This dealership was easy to deal with they gave me up front pricing from the very begining and I didnt have to negotiate whatsoever. However when I arrived to sign papers the agreed upon payment was higher due to an incorrect sales tax percentage inputted in the system. but the General Sales Mgr who is an absolute stand up guy advised the finance Dept to go with my original agreed upon payment. The general Sales MGR Craig Stevens greeted me at the door and was a professional and gentleman just an old school business man that was great to deal with. My issue was when I got my vehicle home and unloaded it from the trailer It was def not serviced. The carfax said it was serviced on 3/10/25 prior to me picking it up on 3/14 but not only was it in 4wheel drive, like someone was driving it that way but the engine compartment was covered in dust and dirt indicating the oil cap was never touched. Also the correct mileage was 71 miles not 13 also indicating it was never touched. The 3rd indicator was my oil life was at 0 percent. It was just very discouraging to get a $56k vehicle and thats what i uncover when i got home. Other than that I love my jeep

This is my 2nd lease through McGee and I have been very happy each time. The sales people are so genuine, kind and helpful. As well as the service department. My current lease was done so quickly and painlessly. I love my new wrangler but even more the staff. Would highly recommend.

Made a trade for a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee at McGee CDJR in Barre. Worked with Rob as salesman. What a totally great experience. From the time I walked in the door until I left with my new car was under two hours. One of, if not the very best car buying experiences I’ve ever had in my 47 years of car shopping. I would send anyone I know there, and will seriously consider returning in a few years time.

Had an amazing experience with the whole team that was there today! Big thanks to Rob Collins for helping me get into a Jeep. All said and done in less than 24 hours. The vehicle I wanted was located down in Springfield and they had someone drive there and bring the vehicle to Barre. Saved me from over another two hours of travel. They took excellent care of my husband and I. I wasn’t too impressed with how clean the car looked and they were more than happy to have it fully detailed again without a second thought. 100% would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be back when it’s time for my next vehicle.

Terrible service technician, completely rude and not accommodating. They literally took a look at me (I’m ethnic) and turned me away An oil change literally takes 10 minutes and I arrived at opening, so to be squeezed in should have been possible. I say this on the premise that I drive a new dodge vehicle, I have a service plan AND there was literally ONE other person there. (She happened to have an appearance similar to the locals) There’s always this sentiment that ethnic people are inherently evil or problematic or filled with complaints. Nah. I just needed an oil change. And to expect service as a paying consumer shouldn’t be construed as problematic because despite whatever my appearance is, my money is the correct color. I found an alternative place that was more accommodating. Quick Lube and Wash. This dodge dealership has completely turned me off as a consumer. I’ll never return, nor would I purchase from them. Racist behavior should be maligned because of its antiquated reasoning, it has no place in society or in places of business that cater to all Americans. I so disappointed in this establishment. I wish I could give ZERO STARS
