This was the best place ever going to it I had to circle around it a few times until I finally found it and there was this amazing worker and his name was Logan he was the best employee ever He brought us around the whole entire store for around an hour and a half Help me understand anything that I have questions about and did not get mad at all at any time he was always kind and did not complain about anything and was the greatest guy ever I will definitely be coming back!
Definitely would buy from here again, especially being a local SC business. I worked with Logan to locate a mini PC that met the specs for a home assistant project I'm starting. Found exactly what I needed on their eBay site. Logan was very knowledgeable, helpful, and communicative. According to all the descriptions I read they thoroughly prep these products for reuse. Can't wait to see what else they have as I keep building!
Despite what Google says, they DONT take scrap metal! However, they DO accept our used personal alkaline batteries at NO cost!! Very friendly and helpful staff!!
I normally don’t leave long reviews, but this company absolutely deserves one. I’ve used them multiple times now for appliance disposal and construction/demo related dump runs, and every experience has been excellent. The staff has always been professional, understanding, and genuinely helpful.
Most recently, they helped me dispose of an old dishwasher and several light fixtures quickly and without any hassle. On a previous visit, they even worked with me on taking several items that normally would not have been accepted because the main dump facility was closed at the time. They easily could have turned me away, but instead they took the time to help me out and made the entire process smooth. That level of customer service is rare these days.
As someone who runs a service business myself, I really appreciate companies that are organized, respectful, solution oriented, and easy to work with. They’ve saved me time, stress, and extra trips on multiple occasions, and that reliability means a lot when you’re trying to keep jobs moving efficiently.

Visited because some Facebook Marketplace posts looked like they were all coming from the same place, Was looking for some used mini-pcs that were not selling at new pricing. Twas blown away. Staff is super friendly, and they have a TON of equipment at super friendly pricing. I plan to make a run to drop off some of our old equipment.
This staff here are a friendly, knowledgeable and amazing group. They truly care about their customers and environmental impacts from electronics waste. The prices were better than fair and I recommend giving them the first shot every time.

I found this place on Google after looking for places I could recycle electronics. One thing that I loved was that they had a pick up/drop off option. I called them, mainly to make sure that I was going into the right place since on Google maps, the place did look a little sketchy and you can't really see where the business is. After talking to someone on the phone, he told me where to go and I found it with ease. When I got there, some of the guys helped me unload the things from my vehicle. Super friendly owner/business/people! Absolutely loved the ease of the whole process. Definitely recommend!
I found this company through a Google search for companies that will pick up your refrigerator, and I called several places before them.
Removing the refrigerator included getting it down a flight of stairs. Those companies I did call before them either never returned my call or gave me quotes that were well beyond my price range, with extra costs factoring in that it was going down a flight of stairs
They were very prompt and scheduling a pickup, I called yesterday afternoon and it was gone by 10:00 a.m. this morning. They are super friendly and personable which is more rare these days. I don't ever take the time to make reviews but these guys are awesome!

I wanted an old type writer and Mr. Allen had several to choose from. All it needed was a ribbon.
The price was great. The location was pretty easy to find using the instructions Mr. Allen gave.
The shop was pretty cool. If you are a sculpture look him up for spare parts.
Mr. Allen was a pleasant person to talk to. I think the person who had the issue with the phone call wasn't used to a northern personality. That is a shame because I don’t think he deserved the negative review.

I've dropped off several things with Allen Recycling. They take care with electronic items and don't charge people to recycle them. They make it super easy to do, and I'll keep going back!
The owner answered the phone promptly and confirmed he would be happy to take our (old and frighteningly heavy) flat-screen. He was even happier that we brought it to him. A couple phone calls and he greeted us out front. We weren't familiar with the location so he graciously took the time to come out and watch for us. His guys came out immediately and bada bing bada boom, bye bye tv. We'll definitely be back by with more recycling. Allen confirmed that they take basically anything that plugs in (except for CRT tvs). Feel good about your clean out and take advantage of their service!
I called today about maybe recycling my old computers and printer because I read that they have great reviews. When I called, there was so much happening on the other end of the phone that I had to ask if I was speaking with Allen Recycling, to which the person that picked up the phone made the smart aleck remark that it was and that is why he said it was Allen Recycling when he answered in a very condescending way. So condescendingly that I just hung up because it really rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn’t hear and really didn’t appreciate the sarcasm when all I did was politely ask a question. That is not how you do business and you have lost a future customer on account of just being rude. Word of advice: If you need to recycle old electronics, I wouldn’t come here.
Been using Allen Recycling at work to take care of the e-waste that piles up in our IT department as equipment fails or goes obsolete. We wipe our electronics before handing them over, but it's nice to know our hard drives, USB sticks, and SD cards are going to someone who knows and cares about our security. Allen and his team are johnny-on-the-spot for pickups and available throughout the week for drop-offs. They also have great info and advice on product life cycles and recycling requirements and possibilities in South Carolina. On the (very) rare occasion they can't just make something disappear immediately, they'll direct you to the service or institution where you can dispose of it responsibly. It's also nice to have a business like this that serves both businesses and individuals. If you have something in the garage you've been meaning to get rid of but don't know where to start — hit up the Web site and make contact with Allen Recycling.
