Mr. Mel is phenomenal! He owns an incredible shop, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He and his employees are truly fantastic. From the very beginning, he took the time to listen carefully and thoroughly assess my car repairs. After being rear-ended, he made sure all of the damage was completely documented so the repair could be done impeccably.
The repair itself was incredibly well done and impressively quick, too. His pricing was more than fair, even though the other party paid, and the value they received was outstanding. I left with a smile because my car was in better shape than it had been in quite some time.
I hope I am not in any more accidents, but if I am, I know exactly where to go. Please consider AAA Action Auto Body. You will not be disappointed!
The worst experience. I reached out to them desperately in need of my vehicle being fixed. At first, everything was fine. However, as time went on, I found myself consistently begging for updates and information about my car. I never received anything. It wasn’t until a week after my car was sitting, that they finally asked me for consent to begin working on the car and to start ordering parts, whole time I believed that the parts were already being shipped out. I sent an email to the owner, politely explaining my concerns with the whole process and requested updates if not I would move the car. today, i received a phone call from Antonio stating that I sent the email to his secretary, raising his voice at me through the phone, asking me if i was delusional, and cutting me off repeatedly- overall EXTREMELY unprofessional to a customer who is giving their money to the business. I didn’t bother to go back and forth because they did have my car and I was also at work. I called the shop itself and the female who answered told me he probably spoke to me that way “because of the stress of the holidays”. I immediately moved my car from that shop. Probably the worst experience I’ve had and I don’t recommend this shop to anyone.
Mel and his crew were phenomenal! I had a little accident that took of the whole rear bumper cover and my taillight. We got a quote and scheduled same day to have my car dropped off 2 days later once the parts were in. He even called me the same day when he noticed one of the parts he received wasn't the best quality so he rush ordered a new on. His turnaround was impeccable and was able to get my car back 2 days later. It looks brand new, and nothing ever happened to it. Thank you, Mel!! Will be recommending you guys for the job every time.

The repair work was top-notch--my daughter car looks brand new, and you would never know it was damaged. The turnaround time was also quicker than I expected. Mel and his employees are fantastic. They are helpful, and the work they did on our two cars was great. My husband took his F150 truck in for repair because he had a damaged tail gate. Mel replaced the tail gate with a new one and painted it to look like new. I took my BMW 428i in for a scratched fender and Mel repaired it and a few other dings too at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend AAA Action Auto Body for their service and price.
Great service, quickly provided, at a fair price. Mel gave me a free estimate in 15 mins, ordered the parts that day, had me drop the car off 2 days later, gave me a lift back to my hotel, and had my car looking good as new by the end of the following day. Mel and his team are the perfect balance; as friendly and familiar as your next door neighbor, but the work they provide is as professional and timely as any corporate or franchise I've ever done business with. I recently had my car's windshield replaced at AAA ACTION AUTO BODY, and I was incredibly impressed with their service. From the initial phone call to the final installation, the entire process was smooth and efficient.
The technician arrived on time and was very professional. They took the time to explain the process and answer all of my questions. The replacement was completed quickly and with great care. The new windshield looks fantastic and is perfectly aligned.

My daughter was involved in an auto accident. Since she is under 25, she could not rent a car and it was important to get her car back quick. I spoke with Mel, who assured me it would be a 2 day turn around for the repairs. She dropped her car off on Thursday and on Friday it was ready. The repairs were perfect and Mel and his workers went above our expectations.

Most shops I called were booked until the Fall, but AAA Action Auto Body was able to get my car in the next day and repaired within a week. Mel and his team were very courteous and professional. I highly recommend them!
I was in an accident on 5/5 and it really threw everything off track for me. I called every auto body shop in Charleston. Every shop gave me a time frame of August-September to be able to fix my car. I immediately panicked, I kept searching. All of a sudden AAA auto body shop populated. I spoke to the mechanic and he told me to bring my car in so he can look at it. I brought my car in on 5/15 and I just picked up my car on 6/7. This was the BEST service EVER!! The manager was extremely nice and helpful and it did not take long for my car to be fixed. If it wasn't for AAA auto body my car would still be damaged and sitting in one spot. THANK YOU so much for your service!!!!
This is the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto body shop. They were able to get me in for a same day estimate and were able to get my truck fixed just a couple days later. There were scratches and dents that I needed repaired and they did a perfect job, it looks brand new. The owner, Mel, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and gave me updates the whole time they were working on the car.
They offered very fair pricing for the job compared to the numerous other body shops in the area that I called before them. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their car!!

Had an absolutely amazing experience with this business, Mel and everybody at action Auto did a phenomenal job helping me get rid of a an annoying door dent. Not only did they knock the job out same day but stayed late to make sure the job was done right and they did it for a fair and affordable rate, far less than anyone else had quoted me. I also had an awesome conversation with Mel's son who like me is a veteran. It was awesome catching up with a veteran brother! Awesome conversation that made you feel welcome! They repaired the holding brackets on one of the fog lights in my car and were able to mount the light back in place after it had previously been knocked out of place. I did not have to buy a new light, nor did I have to wait for any extra parts to come in. They did a wonderful job, and provided amazing customer service. I have been bring my vehicles here for over 20 years, and they have always provided quality work at a reasonable price.
In case you need some body work done, you can't go wrong with Mel & his team! They worked miracles, gave me a deal & made me a priority bc they knew I, "needed to get back on the road ASP."

Mr. Mel is a down to earth, professional and quality person. I called him last minute for an estimate; it was super close to his after hours, but he still waited until I got there (my car overheated twice on the way there.) But he stayed true to his word and was happy to receive me, nonetheless. Being on a relative budget, I had inquired if he could overlook some issues, but he was never interested in that concept because he said Safety First! He also worked on my estimate and called me the very next morning. He had also been in the military previously for many years, which I appreciated. He was insightful, answered a lot of my questions, and gave me a lot of useful advice despite whether I was going to work with him or not. I got rear ended and the adjuster made me find a body shop. All other places were not willing to even give me an estimate, thankfully I was blessed to find mels place! he went above and beyond with getting me the best prices of the parts and working with the insurance company for me. He genuinely cares, to be as helpful as possible and communicate throughout the entire process. I will be a life long client for sure!

I accidentally drove my car into the garage door and had ripped the rear spoiler off. I looked around for body shops near work and found Action Auto Body. I called and they told me to bring the car in the same day for an inspection. They were amazing! Mr. Mel examined my car and got the parts ordered immediately. They parts came within 4 days and within 6 days my car was fully repaired. Their business is extremely warm and welcoming, and they really go above and beyond. Maria, the receptionist, was lovely, and the another guy who works there was extremely sweet and even washed my car for me! I was pleasantly surprised with their service, and could not recommend them more.
Very informative. Shop is small but on point for great paints and body work. Other car issues can be done if you have Time. Must schedule for car to be fix, or stop in for a Estimate they'll take care of you.
I took my "new" car in for some damage received in an accident. I chose Mr. Mel because of the experience my sister shared about her "visit" to AAA Action. She accidentally dented our other sister's car when she backed it into the garage door. She told me Mr. Mel and his son, looked at it, gave her a great quote and fixed it three days later. She said they did a great job and treated her like family. I relied on her experience and I wasn't disappointed. My car looks brand new again. I'm hoping we won't continue to be repeat customers for AAA Action but if we are, I'm sure that any new visit will be as good as our last visit. Thank you Mr. Mel!
