I took full responsibility for my actions and paid my $201 dollar fee. Not my issue that I got towed. My issue is these “professionals” towed and knocked off my bumper and the under cover part of my bumper, wheel well, and knocked my fog light out in the process. Don’t say I didn’t take responsibility when I know for fact I know I parked illegally because I didn’t see yalls sign and came and paid what I needed to. Also, I signed and left because, although yall did get it very very dirty and I was skeptical, everything looked fine and was doing fine until I got a few minutes down the road already heading home. Y’all took advantage of the fact that I don’t know much about cars and don’t tell anyone what damage yall do to their cars. Yeah it’s just a “2020 kia forte” and it’s just “new to me”, but I worked hard for it to get it. I’m done dealing with this poorly ran company, god knows what yalll do, I just hope one day yall reap what you sow.

These guys are great!!! My apartment has free and reserved paid parking indicated by plaques. After 6 emails reminding residents not to park in paid spots and leaving notes. I made the call they showed up within the hour and towed the vehicle. In regards to how they handled the vehicle. They took photos and in no way could they have damaged it with how it was towed away. Yeah getting towed sucks. The other side of this is coming home and not being able to park in a spot you pay for or own. Simply put, if people paid attention, stopped acting so damn entitled you wouldn’t get towed.

I’ve been seeing news about fraud towing and I just got my car was towed that I owned with good tags etc my car sat in my parking lot that’s registered to my address for a month while I’m currently waiting on the part to arrive due to the snow storms. Just ridiculous and unacceptable. Made police report and contacted my lawyer. Had another towing company confirming their concerns with this company. And I’m okay with any comment I may receive looking at all the negative reviews. But everything will always catch up in due time. God is so powerful, he always sees everything. I’ll pay my fees and I will take care of this. Galatians 6:7 “Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. Called the company to ask about picking up my car and putting it back down for no reason in a spot I have a sticker for, because after that my gear shift is extremely messed up. I called to ask them about it hoping they’d give an explanation or help resolve the issue further since it definitely messed my transmission. I was greeted, after calmly explaining the situation, with being cussed out and screamed at over the phone by a man when a woman answered the phone and then was hung up on.. I’m guessing they know what they did with that response. So be careful with this very rude and predatory company! The reviews are no joke… they’ll have fun talking to a lawyer now since they didn’t want to talk to me like a normal human being.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My car was towed while I was visiting a friend’s apartment downtown, and when I called to speak with the manager, I was met with nothing but rudeness and unprofessionalism. I politely asked if they could work with me on the price since it was outrageously high, and Jeremy, who answered the phone, was dismissive, condescending, and completely unwilling to help. I remained respectful throughout the conversation, yet I was hung up on simply for asking a question. It’s clear from other reviews that this company has a long track record of taking advantage of people and operating in bad faith. They have no interest in customer service—only in squeezing every last dollar out of unfortunate situations. Based on other reviews, I fully expect the owner to respond to this with some snarky, passive-aggressive comment instead of taking any real accountability. But that’s exactly the kind of business this is—one that would rather argue with customers than run an honest operation. If you’re looking for fairness, professionalism, or even basic decency, you won’t find it here. Beware of this business and its shady practices.

These people are thieves, towed a fully legal 100% registered and insured car. Charged me 201$ they also put a massive scratch in my rear quarter panel. I picked up the car on a rainy morning, due to Water droplets on the car there’s no way to fully inspect the paint when it’s wet So the next day, I noticed the scratch. Calmly talked to somebody about it, I was put on hold and then responded with. I signed the release paper so there was nothing they can do. Like I said, I tried to inspect it on pick up. The weather was not conducive. Also, nobody that works there gave me instruction to walk around the car before I gave my signature. The person working the phone Tried to argue with me saying “so you assume it was us” And then continued to hang up on me!

The issue I have that I have has nothing to do with me being towed,the BIG issue I have with is when you are being told there is people at the address and you get there and no one is their and we you have food that can go bad and you have to wait over a hour for someone to show up!! No where in my rating did I blame the company for being towed. But now you know the reason why I gave the low rating for such poor ass business practices!

The driver pretty much stole my car Someone called that had no right to have my car towed. Lied to the driver about who owned the car. The drive didn’t even look at a title. Imagine having so many bad reviews, you have to leave yourself 5 star reviews and enlist your friends/family to leave 5 start reviews to *try* and help it. If it was possible to leave 0 stars, I would. The lack of professionalism at this place is astounding and the way they respond to bad reviews speaks for itself, as do the number of bad reviews they have. Places like this don’t last and the people that run them end up reaping what they sow. Y'all are going to do the wrong person dirty one day and a bad review is going to be the least of your worries. The LEAST you could have done was refund the money, or even half of it, due to the damage that was done to the 2020 Kia. New or not, there was not one thing wrong with that car before any of you touched it. You can try and clap back with whatever smart, sarcastic comment you want but we all know what happened. I highly advise anyone that has to deal with this place, make sure you take before pictures of your car if you park it anywhere on the streets of Charleston… because they love to tell you they’ll “see you in court.” They’re rude, unprofessional, and think they’re above taking responsibility for anything. God doesn’t like ugly and life has a way of turning tables. Have the day you deserve.

We drove down to SC in a brand new 2020 Kia, no issues no problems at all. CBR Towing towed our car with no concern for the care of the car, when we went to pick it up from their office location the work place was run down and hazardous. When beginning the long drive home immediately leaving their office the entire wheel well came off on the highway at 70 mph, we are extremely thankful that everyone in the vehicle and the vehicles around us were unharmed. When we pulled off of the highway to call CBR Towing looking for a resolution to the damage and and risk they put us and others in they said, “ We’ll see you in small court” I cannot emphasize this enough, this business needs to be held accountable for all damage and risk they have caused. And I highly recommend you look up the owner Ron Black, there is an article showing record of him using racial slurs and discriminating against some of his customers.

Arrived over an hour later than arrival time than was told to me with no communication from the company. I had to call them 3-4 times asking for interval updates, each time being told 10-20 more minutes. Overall impression was unprofessional. Having an accurate ETA communicated to me and being called with updates would have been sufficient. Once he arrived, he was efficient with the tow.

My car was towed last night. Today I called to make sure there would be someone onsite when I arrived to retrieve my vehicle. I wanted to make sure I had all the correct documents as well and appropriate payment. I was told the office was open until 6pm when I spoke to the agent who let me know it was cash only and I needed proof of registration, ID, and insurance. I left work early and took a costly Uber to get there in time. I arrived at 5pm. There was a small window that was closed and a phone number that said to call to let someone know you had arrived. I heard the phone ringing inside. I called ten times. I waited until 530. I knocked on every door I could find. I now have to take another Uber to my home and I am sure I will be charged additional fees for my car being held another day. Where is the disconnect here? Was I given the wrong time of a 6pm close?

I want to first say that this is the most unprofessional company ever! If you get your car towed, please note, they do not have a receptionist that will process you and and get you your car. Instead, you have to keep calling to track and see where they are because you're waiting on a driver to get back and release your car to you. I waited for an hour, as I was quoted. Only to call back in an hour and they tell me I had to wait another hour because "they had something else to do." I spoke with the gentleman about 3 times. never did he mention that you cannot remit payment with a card. It's cash or zelle only. I asked why wasn't this communicated, the driver stated "I had a lot of stuff to do." After paying $201, I was granted access to my car, which I discovered had been broken into by the company without my permission. I opened my door to see that my seatbelt was tied up into my steering wheel. I was told they only tow from the back- my vehicle was backed in to a wall where they towed it from. So this let me know that not only did they pop my door open (without my consent) but they had to start it to move it in order to tow it from the back. When I asked the driver how they got into my car, he responded with "he didn't know and he didn't want any trouble." I had to ask countless times before he indeed told me how they got into my car. After a long night, I called back the next day to speak to a Jeremy- who was extremely rude. I asked what could be done to rectify the situation since I didn't give them permission and that is illegal to break into someone's car without their consent. I asked for some type of refund and he responded "absolutely not!" and proceeded to hang up the phone. I called the police to file a report and after speaking with an officer, they stated that they have never heard of a towing company having to go into your car (without your consent) in order to tow a car and they have heard a lot of horrible things about this company. I did not appreciate how they handled this situation or even trying to do something to rectify the situation (even $50 would've made some type of difference) as I felt totally violated when I received my car back.

I watched one of the drivers circle through the Walmart parking lot for a good 15 minutes while I was waiting for a pickup order (that i ended up having to go inside to get). The driver ended up towing the car that was parked next to mine. Sad thing is when you call the number posted on the pickup sign it said you have to go inside to pick up your order due to the inclement weather. You would think its acceptable to park in the pickup section since you are picking up an online order but apparently not. The owner of the car that was towed came out looking for his car, I asked what type of car and he confirmed it was the same one I seen towed. He said he was inside picking up his order and thought it was okay to leave his car in the pickup parking area. The gentleman didn't speak much English so I called CBR which of course they fed me the "we tow unattended cars that are parked in the pickup area and that I needed to take it up with corporate" I explained to him that we had to go inside to pick up our order due to the weather (the walmart employee also said we were fine parking there) he said it didn't matter and the gentleman wouldn't be able to get his car until the next day for $175. This company is definitely predatory, this economy has the best of us and you got people like CBR ripping people off......

This place is a joke. Yes, I take accountability for my car being illegally parked, and I happily paid the price for my crime !! My biggest issue is not them towing my vehicle. It is them damaging my vehicle. I spoke to a guy named Jeremy Who is not only rude, unprofessional, but also aggressive. He insinuated that my car already had those damages prior to them towing my vehicle, which is a lie because coincidentally I took a picture of my car the day before they towed it!!! When I asked him to show me the pictures of my car before they towed it and after they took it off of their machine, he refused. The guy who works there Jeremy is a joke A grown man, 20 years older than me being rude, unprofessional, and argumentative. It was to the point to where I literally had to get the police involved being that it is a civil suit they couldn’t do much. He even refused to show the photos and videos of my vehicle to the two lovely officers who did show up. So I literally had to take the time out of my day to file a civil suit against these monsters. Towing someone’s car, and then damaging it is so wrong in so many ways. See you guys in court. I guess since he figured I’m an out of towner that I wasn’t going to do anything about the situation.

My car was towed by this company even though I paid $50 to park in the lot it was towed from. My family and I were visiting and came back to leave from eating lunch/shopping and my vehicle was gone…(not the towing company’s fault, it was the owner of the parking lots fault) Regardless. The management of CBR is definitely lacking in communication skills and obviously just by reading the owners responses to the other reviews tells you more about this company than I care to… SO. If you’re reading this and in a similar situation, I’m so sorry. I really hope that this establishment makes the necessary changes to operate appropriately, and fairly for their future customers. ** adding that this company states that they’re open 24 hours. Not true… we waited 2.5 hours in the parking lot of this business for someone to come open up on a SATURDAY and had to pay $200 to get it out.**

The two men who work there are extremely disgusting, dirty, and just flat out rude! So much love for these guys my car broke down across the street from them and the city was trying to get it impounded and they found a way to get in contact with me and unfortunately I had no money to get it towed to my house and I asked them if I can hold it in the back until payday and they said no but we can tow it to your house for you!! The staff was able to lookout and put me in a much better situation if I ever needed towing assistance I would highly recommend this company and all thanks to them that I can keep my car wonderful staff:) thanks guys you rock!!

Since you won't answer your phone. Your truck came in my yard in walterboro last night around 4am. I have your guy ,your truck on camera in my back yard. I have no trespassing signs in my yard. All my cars are paid for. If you are your truck comes in my yard again. I will involve law enforcement.You can't come in my yard to look into the back of my neighbors yard.
