Platinum Automotive Center, is the only body shop that I will ever use in the Charleston area. The level of care & service is unmatched. The shop has worked on my son’s Ford Mustang after an auto accident in 2022 and they just completed worked on my BMW X2, in November 2025. Everyone on the staff is always respectful and knowledgeable about insurance claims and it just makes the process smoother. Working at a dealership, I've had all kinds of tow truck drivers drop things in every location possible. Tyler was by far the most helpful. He went out of his way to ask where we wanted the vehicle and even brought me back the mileage and various other information I requested. He went above and beyond as a tow truck driver in assisting me.

Very nice shop. One stop for it all. Bodywork performance and repair work. On my trip I came for performance. They also have a n awd dyno. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have NEVER written a bad review on anyone, but now that I'm having to spend more money 2 years after they fixed my van (2018 pacifica) after a tbone accident, I feel I need to share my experience. Picked up my van to find pin stripe stickers on the painted side instead of hand painted. Stated they didn't have anyone to do them. So my husband had to track someone down to get them painted. The gentleman that painted my pinstripes said he does work for them all the time, so i dont know why he wasnt called. My van had an exhaust leak that was not present before or directly after the wreck. Numerous other issues such as cracked inside panels, scratched glass, missing screws and more. (Not present before accident) Yes they did fix these things when brought to their attention, but not sure how the van was released back to us in that condition. Still have all the pictures. My passenger door still doesn't work right. We have had to fix the wiring harness because the door sliced through some of the wires since it wasn't aligned correctly. (Still doesn't sit flush with the side of the van) Not worth the hassle of asking them to fix it. They have beautiful exotic cars there, that I saw them do great work on. So A+ for that. The paint job was on point, so 4 stars to whomever did that. Maybe just stick to the exotic cars. Just don't feel as if my $40k minivan was given the same attention as the more expensive vehicles.

This is the only shop I trust for cosmetic repairs & upgrades in the Charleston market. Ricky & Joe were on top of ensuring everything came out perfectly (rims & repainting two rear panels). They were able to salvage my curbed rims & beautifully powdercoat them. I couldn't even tell they had curb marks previously once they were finished. I highly recommend these guys for any high-end auto work, from paint to turbos.
