Very unpleasant experience I had. It was my first and last time in this market. When I came to the store with my dog( Yorkie)in my hands, one of the stuff members angrily told me to “make it quick and never come with a dog here”. I left right away and will not come again! With this kind of attitude I’m not surprised that there were no customers!
Placed a order via Door Dash. When the food arrived one of the sandwiches I order was totally incorrect from what I ordered. I ordered a deli ham sandwich on a Kaiser roll, in the Door Dash special instructions I noted American Cheese, no lettuce, no tomato. When I opened the sandwich it was ham & cheese on rye bread with lettuce, tomato and onion. When I called the store and explained what happened to the guy on the phone he blamed it on Door Dash for them not telling him correctly when they called him. So I asked about getting the correct sandwich he rudely said I’ll make one but who will deliver it. I told him I will call Door Dash. Which I did. Door Dash said they would put in a new delivery order for the correct sandwich, which they did. I waited 10 minutes or so and it was still saying the restaurant was confirming my order. I then tried to call the store several times to give him a heads up on the new order and no one answered it went to a voicemail. I even blocked my number and tried and still no answer. Door Dash then called me back saying there was a issue confirming my order and they cancelled it. I feel since the mistake was made making the sandwich and I called to get it fixed the guy on the phone decided to not accept more Door Dash orders and was not taking any calls. I would of even been fine with picking up the order but could not get through to the store. Definitely poor service after they got my money.
This is the best market around. The new owner Is the nicest person. He has changed everything in the store to make it so convenient to actually get almost everything you need. The food is delicious and fresh. It’s great to have a local market in the area. You must try their chicken salad. Best I’ve ever had! Better then my homemade. Hats off to the new owners!
Under new owners, this market has really improved in every way. It's clean and bright, the staff is friendly and the food is great. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing: fluffy eggs and generous meat on a fresh roll. The chicken salad is fresh and tastes better than any I've had in the area and the cheese-steak hoagie is my son's favorite.
Just ordered Uber Eats and needed some custom things done. They were AWESOME and made it happen when we called. They definitely went out of their way for us.
The convenient store side of the "Market" is lacking. It is always so grim in there, also. Went to buy a bag of ice and the clerk had no clue how old it was. I decided to simply put it back go elsewhere. Even the assortment of chips and other snacks is bad.
With the densely populated Village Shires surrounding it, I would hope for a better convenient store.
I went in one morning when I was late for work and wanted to pick up a quick bit to eat on my morning commute. The business owner and employees were very friendly and recommended I get the Bacon Egg and Cheese. I looked over the menu and decided to also get the Mac and cheese bites. To my surprise the food was Delicious and offered at a good price. Will be going back often!
