Great staff, fair prices, and quick turn around. Update: went back after a CEL popped. They got it taken care of quick, and went above and beyond with a difficult 3rd party warranty company. They are highly recommend. 2nd Update: went back after needing another repair and some maintenance, and couldn't be happier. Always treated right whenever I need anything, with fast turn around time.

I recently took my car for an inspection. They offer drop off service the night before, which was very convenient. Kevin was great to deal with…. I highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!! 10 out of 10 for sure!! I stopped in last week because a sensor light came on. They checked my car out while I waited and printed out what the problems were. I even received text updates on when my car would be ready by. I picked up my car the next day and it drives even better when I first bought it. Thank you to Chris and the rest of the team for such a wonderful experience.

Found a coupon for a PA state inspection at this place. They failed me because my windshield wipers left a slight streak - even though visibility was perfectly fine. Then they said I either pay $60 to replace the blades or I wouldn’t pass. I went to a different shop and passed the inspection with the same blades. Thanks , never again.

Kevin is great guy talks to you and explains everything solid guys also you receive video of what's wrong. Give them a try both Philadelphia Rhawn st on right 1 block before Frankford ave.Also bucks county on street rd. On right side after second street pike.

Service was professional, polite and efficient. Checking in and checking out was easy and quick. Requested Services were completed on time. Communication were excellent via text, phone and in person. I’ve had years of up Shops trying to upsell me on services And take advantage of my lack of Automotive knowledge. I’ve never felt safer in my car and respected as a consumer. We take all our vehicles to Shums, they do outstanding work. They always send a comprehensive video to explain the work that is needed. We couldn’t be happy with the services that Kevin provides.

This is the 3rd year in a row that I’ve gotten my car inspected at Shums & as usual, it was a nice and super easy experience! I discovered Shums several years ago when they first opened their Southampton, PA location after being ripped off by a different mechanic right down the road from them. Ever since then, I’ve not only gotten my yearly inspection done there, but I’ve taken my car(s) there for oil changes and other regular maintenance. I’ve also taken my car there to have them check out different issues I was having. I’ve had the same experience every single time! All I do is text Kevin, tell him what I need, and he sets it up. He is always super responsive, incredibly helpful and so easy to work with. And they ALWAYS have amazing deals and coupons on top of their already reasonable prices. I can only say good things. Def worth checking them out!

I needed a bulb replaced and didn’t have an appointment- I was in and out in less than an hour- really about 40 minutes. It was my first experience with them and I was very pleased with the results.

I've been using Shums in Southampton for all of my service needs the past 2 years. They are courteous and in my opinion very honest and forthright about what your car requires for inspection etc. They will send you video of anything that they find and clearly explain what they're seeing. It's hard to earn my trust with auto repair, but I can't recommend these guys enough. Their communication is top notch and they deliver what they promise. I recently purchased 4 new tires and unfortunately had damage due to a road hazard. They replaced the tire for a nominal labor charge, far below what I was expecting. Great guys, don't hesitate to use them

Very thorough and detail oriented. this place definitely knows their stuff and I feel very comfortable taking my foreign vehicle to them to be serviced. You’ll get peace of mind with photos and videos to show you what’s going on with your vehicle and they really take time to go over everything with you. Not that I want to be bringing my car in to be serviced anytime soon again ? but when I do, I’ll definitely be taking it here

The service left a very mixed impression. The level of bureaucracy and disorganization here is far beyond what’s acceptable for a small business. Their advertised promotion looks nice online, but in reality it’s almost impossible to use — too many hidden conditions and excuses. My advice: if you plan to visit, bring plenty of patience and time. The large number of positive reviews seems questionable — perhaps encouraged by small perks like free coffee. Too bad I didn’t take a photo of their “Leave us a review” board — it honestly looked quite funny. Hopefully, management pays attention and draws the right conclusions. Update your replay Thank you for your reply. Not speaking perfect English and being stupid are two completely different things. My review described exactly what happened — the confusing process and unclear conditions of your promotion. Whether a customer speaks English or not, everyone deserves respect and fair treatment. I came on the first day at 9:20 — my mistake, I realized it. I returned the next day at 8:50, but then you said an appointment was required. So the “clear conditions” don’t seem that clear after all. By the way, bro — great advice from a business owner to tell a customer to go somewhere else. I’ll take your advice and won’t come back. At least my review was honest. You know why? Because I didn’t drink your coffee. Communication barriers can happen, but professionalism and respect are universal. Hope you learn the difference.

After taking my car to the dealership for diagnostics,I had to find a second opinion for a suspension repair. My friend referred me to Shums in Southampton which was fairly close to where I just moved. I brought it there and Kevin took my car in right away. The shop made their own diagnostics and found some other problem not found and quoted the price which was fairly reasonable compared to the dealership’s quote. In two days they were able to make the repair. Shums also did my state inspection and now I’m driving my car again like new. Highly recommended place for major car repairs

Kevin and his team are the best!!! They are honest, transparent, and they have the best equipment. In fact, they’re the only ones with a road force balancer in the area! 10/10, I look forward to coming back for my future servicing and tire needs.

Shums auto repair shop is terrific! I’ve never seen a cleaner garage. Even the bathroom is cleaner than mine at home! The work they do is second to none! Their specials on oil change and inspections are better than any place. The guys at the front desk are polite, knowledge and friendly. If you have a major part problem they take a picture of it and send it to you! I’m super confident in their work and professionalism.

Outstanding service! Was able to get an appt immediately and had my car done within a few hours. Staff is extremely nice, and they stand behind their work. I will 100 percent be bringing my cars to their shop in the future.

Since moving to Southampton two years ago I have been going to Shums Auto Repair. The entire team is pleasant, accommodating and have provided me with great service. As recently as this week, upon hearing a clatter coming from underneath my front seats I pulled into their shop about 1:00pm. My car was put on the lift, the mechanics showed me the worn out pads, kept my car for repair and oil change as well. Great team, great service.
