Friendly, helpful, efficient. I found them several years ago We were going somewhere that couldn't diagnose an issue with a shaking steering wheel... the axle was suggested so we fixed that and the wheel still shook. Took it here and they found the problem ( unmatched tires). That was a few years ago. Since then the service has stayed the same, efficient and to the point. Auto work isn't cheap, but its more costly when your mechanic can't diagnose correctly. These guys can. Also, generally they over quote so the bill comes in right at or just under the quote so there are no surprises when you go to pay (which is the worst). They usually get booked out week or two in advance, so they can't get you in last minute. However, they did help me in a pinch once which I appreciate.

I came here on recommendation of neighbors, who owned their own auto shop. Glad I did. Was having some engine issues...I just needed an oil change. They were honest & reasonable. I have found my repair shop.

My recently purchased a car from them , and they did a great job on the car, before they sold it too her, the mechanic was very friendly and helpful, and so was their customer service

These guys are great at a great price. Sydney at the desk is so pleasant and accommodating. Don’t let her youth fool you. She knows what she’s doing. I’ve been so pleased with their service at both locations at a much better price than my dealership.

My former coworker recommended Tom Sawyer years ago and I only recently had need of their service. My first experience was when I brought my car in for an interior leak. They quickly identified a clogged sunroof drain and fixed for less than $40. Most recently I had a noisy exhaust and mushy braking. I decided to have Tom Sawyer also do a safety check since my car has over 150k miles. I love my car and want to drive it for as long as possible. They identified exactly what I expected for a car with as many miles. The repairs were very reasonably priced, and they worked in conjunction with Meenan so all my repairs could be made seamlessly. I have had several good experiences with Tom Sawyer and Auto Repair. Recently we were to go away for a weekend and I discovered a large screw in my tire. I noticed the tire was losing a lot of air and I took it to Tom Sawyer right when they opened at 8am on Thursday. They got my car right in and put a patch on my tire in anout 25 minutes. The price was reasonable at $43 and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Tom Sawyer.

I found this shop ( on 263 and 611) years ago by referral by my AAA tow truck driver. Best decision ever. Although they aren't open on weekends - they are great at what they do, they price jobs reasonably and actually fix what you need. If your vehicle needs more they recommend it. If it can wait, they will tell you. I've been with them for years and would go out of my way to have my vehicles repaired there !

Chris did an excellent job on my repairs. Sydney was accommodating and is good-natured. Fair pricing for quality work. I'll be back when I need'em again.

This place was my final destination, after 3 other places shot me down! I took my wife's tire to them and they immediately stopped what they were doing a fixed my tire. They could have said, "Oh, I can't right now, you'll have to leave the tire here". The boss lady was very nice and the mechanic who worked on my tire was great. I wanted to thank them for helping me out in a pinch. I know who to take my business too now!

They are the most honest mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I’ve been going to them for a few years now and they don’t oversell, they explain what they are doing and why, give honest recommendations and reasonable time lines to get things done (like new tires) and their pricing is fair and competitive. What more could you want?

I was looking for a good mechanic shop in the area I moved to and found this shop on google. Saw that they have great reviews and decided to try them. So I called to come in for an oil change, and found out that they work by appointment- that’s pretty convenient, this way I don’t have to spend time waiting until they can service me! I came in, they took my vehicle in and had me out in 15 min or so! Their waiting area is very clean, not like in some shops I have been to! Looking forward to using them in the future!

Had an issue with part of the exhaust in my car, other places told me I had to fix the entire exhaust system for $1500+ and Tom Sawyer told me they were able to fix the single piece with the issue for less than $100. It was exactly what I needed, they were honest and staff was very friendly. A very good experience overall.

Stopped in with an emergency tire plug needed. They took me right back, took off the doughnut, fixed the flat and put my regular tire back on. Very reasonable. Great customer service. I'll be back for sure. Thanks guys.
