This is only my second time coming to this store. Im not familiar where everything is yet. I found 2 things and went to the dressing room. I was coming from the right so I did not see a "line entrance". I saw no people, but open doors. There were racks and chairs in the way. So I stepped over the rack. The first lady with short gray hair asked where I came from. I said I stepped over the rack. She waved her finger like I was 5 and went no no no thats a fall risk. I didnt fall, but ok noted. If there wasnt so much crap blocking the entrance I would have known. But ok noted for next time no problem. So I go into the dressing room and as Im closing the door I hear the older man yelling " IF SHE DOESNT LIKE IT SHE CAN LEAVE THE STORE. Thats how people cut the line " I whipped that door open fast and said I didnt know!! Its my second time being here I had no idea. Imagine a grown man yelling like that. You met your match cause I wont be talked to like that. He said he accepted my apology and I told him I wasnt giving one. He than said Ok fine im sorry. Which ofcourse came of sarcastic. I could hear him whispering while I was trying my clothes on. A joke. Word of advice to him since no one has the guts to say it to him. Number one leave the sassy attitude at home. Im a mom and that was my second to do some relax shopping. I had no secret agenda to tick you off. I could of been told so much nicer. But all you did was get the store to stare at me. And two for the love of all things use your Indoor voice. There is no reason to be so loud and obnoxious through the whole store. If im hearing your conversation across the place you need to take it down a notch. Its giving Pick Me energy. Over all im disappointed. I was excited to find a thrift store that was so nice and clean. But to be yelled at over a mistake. Wasn't right. Hope a manager has a talk with him because if he talked to me like that I can only imagine what he feels comfortable saying to others who make him mad.

Usually a great place for certain types of used goods like wine glasses and kitchen items, but this time when I got I found one open was broken and the other didn't fit. You must know your measurements. Bring a tape measure and inspect carefully. No returns or exchanges.

Good variety across stores, prices cane be high, helpful workers like Rich are the reason to keep returning

Care and Share sells items priced higher then the original tag (shein shirt original price $5.00, selling for $5.99). Along with half used shampoo/conditioner tester. How can you sell garbage? Clothes have dried-up vomit and misterios white and brown stains... How dare you treat people like that? As a thrift store it is your obligation to serve the underprivileged people in your community. Instead, you, Care and Share are another shameless business.

From a donation standpoint, they are incredible! Our library donated whatever we could not sell at our book sales. They take all books and might even help you unload. We are happy that the books go to a new home and not a dumpster. And the stores are incredible! Almost an entire strip mall.

I don't know who is in charge of pricing but its out of control. I saw items that were priced so high that you can do better at home goods, Ross, Walmart, etc. I saw candles that I buy at the dollar store priced for 3.00 and Decor that I can buy new for less. Maybe they over- expanded and now they're trying to make their rent out maybe it's priced high because of resellers. Either way they're no longer affordable for those who may be struggling and need a cheaper alternative to their children. I rarely shop there anymore because frankly why would I pay more for something used when I can but it for less brand new? Do better Care and Share!

The prices at the Care and Share outlet are fantastic! The staff in the store were very cordial and friendly. My shopping experience was excellent. Thank you.

Such a fun experience. I had only ever gone to the furniture section of Care & Share…. But I highly recommend checking out all 5+ well organized shops! I was pleasantly surprised at the very clean, organized, & aesthetically pleasing thrift clothing shop! Additionally, there are different tag sales weekly and if you shop there on your actual birthday you get half off in each store!! Definitely check it out. Highly recommend.

I like shopping here- lots of variety and a very large inventory. The 50% discount on certain colors every week is nice! The only thing is the prices are very high for a thrift store who gets everything donated to them for free. For example, the small baskets (around 6in) they had were priced at $9-11and up from there, I just couldn’t bring myself to buy one.

We got our leather sofa here for a very good deal, less than anything we even saw on Facebook marketplace. And the employees helped us load it into our vehicle. Good experience

A bit pricey on some higher end items, but there are deals to be had. They always have a decent selection of small kitchen appliances to be had for a bargain. Usually some mid-range audio components and speakers. But expect to pay close to or above the fair market value for all of these items. It seems most merchandise is tagged similarly. Appears they apply the tried and true method of searching for the item you are trying to sell on eBay, then search for recently sold prices of said item, and attach the highest priced sold item amount to your item with conviction. Problem is, sometimes two things that may look identical at a glance, are in fact quite different. In quality, condition and valuation. It's not an issue with everything in the store. But I think it'd be safe to say, it's close to half of the floor. Store is a bit tight with floor space. But that's usually part for the course with most all thrift stores. Items are visually aesthetic. The store and parking lot are always clean and tidy. Their lot is huge And there are always a plethora of spots, ample enough to accommodate doublewide vehicles and large trucks. I will say this about C & S, they honestly did have some truly exquisite furnishings available on a few of my visits, but the stickers were always just a bit out of my ballpark. They have some nice yellow tag sales here and there. But the majority of items price tags are set in stone. Great staff and plenty of helpful guys on the floor to assist customers and answer questions. This place has nicer items than most thrift shops. But the downside is, most items are too rich for my blood. Still worth a visit. Support local businesses. Happy my purchases help advance good causes.

My recent shopping experience went fairly well. I was able to find that I was looking forCheck out was great as always. The ladies who work at the counter at the Variety store are always so sweet and attentive. But there was one volunteer/employee walking around who looked pretty grumpy and for some reason, she kept getting in my way when I was trying to look at things, or getting in my wife's way when she was trying to look at things. It was almost like what she was doing was more important than customers having the freedom to look at things without feeling pushed aside. Again, the overall experience was very good as usual, but I wanted to bring that other matter to your attention. Blessings! ><>

I used to enjoy it, but the prices are not well managed. They deem certain brands "desirable" and up the price regardless of condition. I used to buy all of my knitting supplies here, but they have become ridiculously overpriced. In some cases charging more than the sale labels still on the items from it's original store. That's inexcusable. I get it. It's generally still better to reduce waste, etc. but this is not just about the charities they contribute earnings to; it's also supposed to benefit the shoppers in need who do not have a lot of disposable income...

I’ve been going to Care and Share for several years. I have found awesome things; kitchen items, furniture, clothing, books, games,etc. However, my last trip I saw things I liked, but did not purchase because I felt they were overpriced. Example are the candles,their prices were the same as Burlington or Marshalls, even the used ones.I also felt that the frames and artwork were overpriced as well.

Incredible thrift store, it takes up 90% of a strip mall. Each category has its own store with separate entrance I see people complaining about high prices I can't believe some of the incredibly cheap buys you can get here. Honestly, ridiculously cheap. A thrift store could never be so busy and successful as this one if everything was overpriced If you go once and judge it by a single visit I can see why someone may complain The trick with ALL thrift stores is to make repeated trips Care and Share operates on I think a 4 color price tag rotation Each week, one color is 50% off, but on every Tuesday, the color going on sale is 75%, yes 75% There's bound to be some things overpriced, but so many things are priced to sell I make at least 1 visit a week, sometime 4 times I see tons of happy customers, and quite a few resellers to compete with That's OK, if resellers go there, they must be making a profit or I wouldn't be seeing the same people regularly I don't resell, but I have bought things that resellers miss all the time

Wonderful experience shopping here - I got so much of the things I needed for my wedding here! Thrifted so much lovely china from the outlet along with glasses and candles and such. You’ll find little treasures so often and I always had a blast

My experience with care and share was not only satisfying but surprising in that I found little treasures to bring home. The clothing I found fit perfectly and were stylish. I found wonderful scratch free CD's of prominent composers. And on sale, I found a beautiful painting in soft colors of Quakers in daily life. And, when I needed help, the volunteers were helpful and cheerful.

This is a fun place to explore. I buy used books from online book stores on a regular basis, and the prices here are 75% cheaper than online and in much better shape. I love that they have so many volunteers and that they do so much good for the community. I’m not sure why reviewers are complaining about high prices. I used to work a thrift store and the cost to operate one is astronomical. I felt their prices are in line with other thrift stores I frequent and I love that the money goes to help people in need. I go thrift store shopping all the time and wish these stores weren’t an hour from my house. I had lots of fun and found some good bargains.

I’ve been a long time shopper at care and share like a 15 year loyal shopper. It’s a shame what care and share thrift store has become. It was once a place you could come to shop and enjoy, but now it’s a constant struggle to find anything affordable. Also what’s up with changing the variety store every other day?! There’s something to be said about familiarity when shopping at a store you visit often. Stop moving it around constantly. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they moved into the bookstore, yet it keeps changing, moving and not for the good. Not to mention $40 for a tablecloth. No thanks. It feels like greed is taking over. It’s bad when you constantly hear the volunteers complaining about the pricing and not knowing “where things are today” I’ve overheard so many shoppers complain about it as well. It’s quite sad as it was my happy place. I’ve stopped in 5 times recently and left empty handed each time. I’m afraid I’m no longer going to shop here.

Care and Share donates a lot of their profits to those who are less fortunate. It’s a little upsetting seeing a lot of people assume they are “money hungry” when in reality it’s 2025 and prices are going up everywhere. The workers and volunteers are extremely nice. Especially those who volunteer their time in exchange for nothing. They also have big sales on certain days to help out the community. I had a pleasant experience shopping here and they keep everything looking very nice!

I’ve donated to and shopped at this store for many years, often stopping in whenever I was in the area. Unfortunately, I find myself bypassing it more and more—it’s just not worth the stop anymore. Some of the prices are now higher than retail. On a recent visit, I found two identical pillows I was interested in purchasing. One was priced at $5.99, the other at $9.99. At checkout, the volunteer took them back to confirm the pricing. When she returned, she told me both were now priced at $9.99. I looked closer and noticed both pillows had dirt spots. I declined to buy them and was told, "The “buyer” said the spots can be wiped off." No thanks—I’d rather go to TJ Maxx, pay the same price, and get clean, brand-new pillows. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the whole point of a thrift store to offer lower prices on donated, secondhand items? And when did thrift shops start hiring “buyers”? If everything is donated, what exactly is a buyer buying? Perhaps the price hikes are going toward those salaries. Overall, this new approach feels disingenuous. Care & Share’s original mission seems lost in the pursuit of profit. Marking up donated goods to retail prices just doesn’t sit right. It no longer feels like a community-oriented, charitable store. Was the $4 dollars you would have made on the spotted pillows worth a one star review?

My daughter and I go to thrift and antique stores to spend time together and find some unexpected treasures. We went to this Care and Share thrift shop which left a bad taste in our mouth. First of all, it is way too expensive for a thrift store. In fact, we found a vase that was $15 but the original store sticker said $9.99. We showed the manager and asked if we could get it for the store price.(at a thrift store, it should be lower than the store price) She just looked at us and said, “Oh well, we’re not going to change any prices. That’s the way it is.” No apologies either. We also found two cute ceramic bowls, larger one was priced at $.99 and the smaller one was priced at $3.99. I went to purchase them and said the smaller bowl is probably priced wrong. The cashier said, “Oh these are priced wrong but the bigger bowl is going to be more.” She proceeds to pull the $.99 sticker off. I told her that you’re supposed to sell it for the price that’s tagged. She looked at me with an attitude and said, No, I don’t have to do that. Want me to call the manager? I said no and walked away. While I was leaving, the cashier said, Don’t you want to buy these bowls? My response was “Absolutely not!” While the store was clean and neat, there was only one worker that was kind and very nice to us. He actually heard how the manager responded to us regarding the vase, and apologized to us for her. DON’T GO HERE! There are many great thrift and antique shops in the area where there were great finds for us and awesome workers. This particular Care and Share thrift store was not a good experience.

Very helpful & friendly staff and volunteers! Those I run into always seem to enjoy their work and are very pleased to chat with a customer / visitor. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and variety of products! [They have everything you could want there.] I love the way they arrange the different categories of items in the stores, very fun to explore. Except when there's too many shoppers, because it can get crowded on certain days. What can I say...? The secret's out, everybody loves this place!

I visit Care and share for two reasons—to donate items I no longer need/use and to shop!! I’ve found great buys at the Variety, Books (for my granddaughter!) and Clothing Shoppes. Prices are reasonable, employees are kind and it’s an Indian Valley gem!!

Great place to shop!! The furniture section had everything you could need to start your first apartment!

great selection of furniture here. the stuff is really nice and they have a good selection of furniture, electronics and other random household stuff like pictures and even frames. They have specials all week where a lot of stuff can be as much as 75% off on certain days of the week. The prices are good too, not super expensive for good retro furniture.
