DISAPPOINTING!! STOPPED IN FOR SOME WIPER BLADES FOR MY CAR. WAS EXPECTING TO HAVE SOMEONE INSTALL THEM AS ADVERTIZED. THE STORE WAS EMPTY AND 2HRS BEFORE CLOSING. MAYBE SHOULD HIRE SOME PEOPLE WITH A BETTER WORK ETHIC.

Stopped in to get a replacement wiper blade,they picked the one I needed and offered to install it,even though the information said it would fit... it didn't, they looked through their inventory to find one that would work, they found one and installed it...Thank you Advance Auto Parts

OUTSTANDING!!! I needed a new battery, and noticed that Advanced Auto has free installation. So, I called a couple of stores, was told to come in after 3. (It’s now 11am and my car is outside running as I had to get it jumped that morning and I don’t want to shut it off for fear of needing a jump again.). I call another store and the representative asked me what type of battery I currently have in my car. Uh, a car battery. Who knew I had options! I asked him where I would find that out and he actually hung up on me! Nice. I called Advanced Auto in Souderton and Jill answers, I ask her about the battery, her response was to come in at any time, and they are well stocked. WONDERFUL! I go there, she is currently helping another with his battery. I noticed she was very thorough. My turn comes, and again she is very thorough. Instead of just selling me a battery, she wanted to test it and noticed it was under warranty through Honda. She did test it for me and sent me the diagnostic info, but told me not to buy a new battery if mine was covered. So she jumped my battery again, sent me on my way, but not without telling me not to shut my car off before I get there and if I did need a new battery to come back to them! Love it! She also helped me with some other questions while I was there! I will definitely go back there, even though it is a little bit farther, but you can’t beat great service!!! THANK YOU JILL!!!! I did want to say the other people working there were also very friendly!

I needed a new battery installation - they didn't have my battery in stock so they took my number down and ordered the battery to come in. They ended up calling me later that evening saying the battery was in and told me I could come in the next day for the free install. I told them I could make it ~4 after work. Turns out that I needed to get the battery replaced much sooner since I couldn't start up my car that morning, so as soon as my car was jump started I went over there (~8 in the morning). Jill did a thorough job with the install (including cleaning off the corrosion that was on the previous battery) in lower than 20 degree temps which I felt so bad about. The times I've previously come over to buy products there I always had a good experience.

Found what I was looking for and saw it wasn't stocked waited patiently while even after I was asked if I needed help and responded yes 3 employees ignored me and even had enough time to be able to Google what I needed down the road I really hated giving that win to the competition because I hate autozone

Tried to take advantage of their free battery installation but was given every excuse under the sun by the counter guys. Said they were too short staffed, too many callouts, too hot out. Why advertise a service if all of the employees will just refuse to do it?

We Bought and Installed an Alternator for a 2007 Grand Marquis and thank goodness was on top of engine block under the engine cover. Good service . Core returned.

I purchased a battery the salesman was willing to install for free, but the Manger Jill wouldn't let him do it. She did give me a discount on the battery and sent me to a shop Telford Auto who was willing to install but wanted to charge me 171.00. I did expect to pay something but not that much. I will probably have to install myself seems that's the only way to get things done right. I probably will not patronize either establishment again¹!

I was helped out by Rob with a battery install. He was kind and professional, and completed the process with efficiency, despite the store being very busy at the time. I was very happy with his courteousness and consideration of my time. A good example of how someone in customer service should behave.

EDIT: original post went longer but I was INCORRECT about the up selling. So I own that. I apologize to the owner for my ignorance in that. Only 2 times I went to this place, after asking what battery is good for my car, up sold me without informing me of all (cheaper) options.

Today I ordered a battery online to make they had it in stock before I arrived to the store. I had planned to take advantage of their free battery install. When I arrived to the store shortly before 5pm when I was told that they couldn’t install it because it was too late. I said 5:00pm is too late? It’s still day light out. Then I was told it was because there were only 2 employees in the store while i was the only customer in store. I was told to bring it back tomorrow to have it installed. Now I have to run home and install it in the dark. This was a huge inconvenience for me. Let’s call it like it is, it was too cold out and the folks there are just too lazy to do the work. I really regret going to this location. Don’t rely on Advance Auto to install a $200 battery that you just bought. Update - 7/21/24 not sure why I thought things would have changed, but once again I needed another but for another vehicle. I got to the store at 5pm on Sunday, with 2 employees just sitting down. I bought a $250 battery and the store employee refused to install it in my car. He said it was nothing personal with mouth of chewing tobacco was falling out of his mouth. I asked what am I suppose to do? He just hand me some tools and said I could install it myself. I pointed at the sign on the window show that they install batteries. In the end I very disrespected and not treated as a valued customer from a very lazy and incompetent employee.

Stopped in on the way home. Jill was extremely knowledgeable. Not only did she know the store layout thoroughly and exactly where to go for what I needed. She also knew about features on the Advance Auto app. She showed me how to combine rewards so that I can use all mine before they expire. This was hands down the best Advance Auto experience I’ve ever had. Store #7204. I will go out of my way to shop here from now on!

I was there to purchase a car battery. I knew what I was looking and spoke to the store manager. He was great. He answered all my question and had his team replace the battery. Souderton store team is great! I’ll be shopping at this store.

I wholeheartedly enjoy the entire staffs jovial demeanor at this particular store. That being said, if you've seen one of these places, you've seen 'em all, for the most part. I will say that the employees are proactive in assisting clueless customers wandering about the store in a sensory overloaded stupor to find exactly what they were looking for, and more than happy valiantly attempting to answer all their vague, convoluted, and redundant questions about some other doodads or dongles they needed for their vehicle. Dealing with laymen such as myself every day, I guess all they can do is just grin and bear it. Their knowledge in all things auto, more than makes up for the lack of mine. They always end up knowing precisely what I need, and even what I hadn't realized I would need, to complete my repairs like a pro. Or at least like a guy who watched a couple of YouTube videos on the subject. The store is always neat, organized, and clean. The parking lot is spacious, and there are usually plenty of open spots, although getting into it can be a bit tricky sometimes, depending on the time of day. The shelves are well stocked with parts for all budgets, which I appreciate as well. The sales they run have some nice deals and bundles. I enjoy the discounts I occasionally receive for being a member of their rewards program. But the main draw here for me is probably the professionalism positively provided post haste perpetuallly portrayed perfectly by the proud personnel, perhaps. Sometimes, I even find myself going out of my way, just to come to this specific store. And that's saying a lot. Because I don't even own a car.

I bought a battery here a few weeks ago and Mike M. exchanged them for me. He was absolutely amazing! It wasn't an easy job as my bolts were rusted and it was freezing! He was so pleasant the entire time & I could not have been more grateful for all of his help! Thanks Mike ?

I had three of my windshield wipers replaced here. I went home and the next day I noticed the cap that covers the screw on the back windshield wiper was missing. I went back to the store and asked if they still had it. The employee did nothing but tell me to “go check the parking lot”. The customer service is very poor for the price that you pay.

Don't ever have custom paint made by them. I went into to have 3 can spray paint made. The guy said it would be done by end of the day or if not definitely by early morning the next day. I waited till the next day at noon, came in and the paint guy said it's not ready because another guy called out and their policy is they needed to have at least 3 person at the counter, therefore he couldn't get to making the paint. He told me he would try to get to it later that day and if not then definitely it be done by the next day. So next day at around noon I didn't get any call so I called and same story. He didn't get a chance to get to it cause they needed 3 guys at the counter and says it's corporate policy even though the last couple times I came to check if it was ready there was not a single customer in the store and all of them were just sitting around talking. I asked him how long does it take to make paint and he said not long at all and I said well you all just sitting around can't you go make it now I can wait. he said he wasn't allowed to because they needed 3 people at the counter. Now I don't know if this is a corporate policy or not but if it is, it's simply run by people that have no common sense. They rather have unsatisfied customers while their employees just sit around talking. Bottom line is I would never shop here again and would not recommend it, seems either the manager running the store has no common sense or their corporate policy is just dumb. I cancelled my ordered and got my refund and not surprisingly the guy told me that this was the 3rd paint order that got cancelled this week for the same reason. Go figure.

This is my go to auto parts store. While it is a little farther away then some others, it is worth it. They almost always have the parts I need and their knowledge and professionalism is unmatched. I don’t think I have ever met an employee working here that was unhappy. Highly recommend.

They tested my battery AND my alternator for free! Great service! I needed and bought a new battery THEY installed it on a 98 degree day! Will definitely go back, and not just because my neighbor works there! (Thanks, Tom!)

A very nice man helped me pick out my windshield wipers, notified me of a discount on the best set, and effortlessly installed them for me! Very easy and fast service on my lunch break from Moyer. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes! Thank you so much!
