With my experience I can strictly state that this place is Inhumane, I wasn’t involved w a vehicle but the person I knew was. They are refusing to release my clothes which was all I owned and have to my name. They want me to pay 500$ for a vehicle that isn’t even mine and are actively refusing to release it. The lady I spoke too had a nasty attitude and was very unprofessional and was annoyed at my phone call bc I interrupted her busy schedule it was presented. In the state of Pennsylvania they cannot with hold my belongings and I don’t have to pay any money by commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Nor do I have to show ownership. I am not the cars title holder but my property I have receipts and pictures as well my Expensive psa graded football/baseball/basketball cards. So I’ll wait for my response.
I bought a brand new car in 2015 and accidentally hit a deer. They did such a great job repairing my front end and even painted my car as close as they could, since it was brand new. I forgot to write this review 10 years ago. I would definitely recommend getting your car fixed here!! They were also very good at communicating with me about my car, and even allowed me to see the progress. They also fixed it in a mannerly time. Luckily my insurance covered everything and I only had to pay for my deductible.
Jerry's Auto Body. Steer clear. They took new parts off of my car and did not tell me or return them. They also charged $175 to move car from the next street over to their yard and didn't disclose ahead of time. I guess they are use to insurance company claims that cover costs. No wonder insurance rates are going up. Not invested in community values or being fair. There are better shops in the area where the ownership cares about real people.
My brand new mini cooper was involved in an accident that required extensive repair to the front end. Jerry's provided frequent updates on the status of the repair due to BMW sending the wrong parts. They offered me a loaner car after the rental car coverage expired and took care of everything from the insurance end. The car looks brand new again!
I highly recommend Jerry's for auto body work.
I had an incident with some damage to the front of my truck that turned into an insurance claim. Jerry's to care of all the insurance side, order of parts and work on the truck. I actually think the truck looked better than before the incident. They have me sold on all auto body work!!!
Absolutely excellent place. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable, and they keep you totally up to date on what's happening. The prices are fair and the work is excellent. Wow my car looks great again!
Do your absolute best to avoid getting towed from here. They charged me $305 to barely take it a mile. Absolutely insane. Much cheaper places around. Will not be recommending to anyone.
I picked Jerry's at random because they are affiliated with my insurance company. I could not be happier with the choice. The work was excellent and done quickly. Everyone was super friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
My husband and I have been using Jerry's for years now, and Everytime we deal with Jim! He's very kind and friendly and they do amazing work!! I'll recommend them time and time again!! We have never had ANY issues
I needed my car pulled out of a ditch and the police automatically called this place...they charged me $340 to pull me out...$80 for winching, $150 for "towing"(didn't tow me at all) $30 for labor, $30 for clean up(nothing to clean up) and $90 for a fuel surcharge(they drove 4 miles to me)...called and asked why the $150 for towing since they didn't tow me at all and they tell me it's a "dispatch fee" and the driver was new so he didn't know to cross out the word towing and write dispatch....I would rather push my car myself than EVER use their services. Highway robbery at it's finest. If I could rate them a zero I would.
This is my second time using them. We got some work done from a minor accident, and it could not have been easier. They were friendly helpful, and the process was explained and followed perfectly. I was constantly getting updates, and the rental company dropped the rental car off and allowed us to return the car back to Jerry’s as well. I could not be happier and couldn’t think of going anywhere else.
Refused to let me put my windows up in my truck on Saturday and was told that they would for me. It rained Saturday night and Sunday. When i picked up my truck on Monday my windows were still down. They're lucky none on my internals were damaged. Theyre incompetent and over charge for ridiculous "fees" absolutely avoid here at all costs.
Wasn't a great day when I was the victim of a hit and run and the car I had taken such good care of was all banged up. But I took it right over to Jerry's the same day and when they were done with it it was better than when I took it in! The process was easy, I didn't have to babysit him through the whole thing. How things were progressing and when it was done they washed it off for me so it was nice and clean and things were as good as new! Like it never happened. No complaints whatsoever.
If I could give 0 stars I would.
Short version- they're non existent communication cost me an extra $1500 in rental expenses
Long Version- car was sent there by Geico, original estimate of repair completion was 20 days. I hadn't heard anything so I called the shop, the service member who answered the phone literally laughed when I asked if it was going to be done on time. He didn't even have an estimate of when it would be completed. called Geico to extend my rental, they only do 30 days. ended up having to wait an additional 34 days until they even got the parts to make it drive-able (cosmetic parts still unknown), got an updated completion date. called the day of completion, only to find out they found more damage which ended up causing the vehicle to be totaled. They agreed to call me if they were any changes, they found the additional damage the day after i was given a completion date. When i asked why i wasn't informed, it was because the service member who handling it was on vacation. Joke of a shop
Our car was towed to this place of business. Brian the assistant manager is not pleasant and does not communicate well with the customer. He is short when communicating and rude, I was trying to explain my whole situation and tell him all I already no prior to him telling me what I already knew and he told me to let him speak! That I was cutting him off when it was the opposite! Our car was told to him through a police call and that’s all they care about is taking calls for tow by the police not helping a customer. I asked for help while be stuck there for hrs with the car that needed a tow and he said he can’t and says we are only using our drivers for police calls what great customer service after taking almost $400 from us! I would not recommend talking to Brian, don’t even understand how he is an assistant manager. They are over priced for towing!
We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Jerry's. The arrangements were made effortlessly and efficiently and the repairs were top quality. They even cleaned the tires and inside if the car! I would not hesitate to use Jerry's for any future auto body repairs.
Great repair and fixed in a timely fashion! The only downside is I brought it back after hearing a noise up front when braking and they "fixed" a completely different issue, that wasn't even an issue and tried to say I had new damage underneath when I didn't even hit anything. I was happy with the repairs on my car, but I felt disrespected after that whole issue. I will not be going back or recommending anyone!
Poor service. Took them three more weeks to fix the car. They ordered a wrong door and found additional damage 5 weeks later after the car was sitting in the shop. Never bring your car to this body shop.
Excellent service and kind hearted, down to earth people. They didn’t have to go the extra mile for me, but they did. Proof their are still good people around
Jerry's did an excellent job fixing my car after it was hit in an accident. You can't even tell my car was damaged. I always dealt with the same person when I called (Brian), which I thought was great. Treated me with respect and courtesy.
I think that Jerry's towing is an extortionist. He charges for things that never happened. When you go in to pay your bill and try to dispute the charge they basically tell you your f**d because they weren't there. They are a fraud just because the owner is a retired cop he thinks he can do whatever
