Been using there service for a few years since moving to this area. They have proven to an honest amd professional shop, honestly is paramount when it comes to auto mechanics so to find a shop with integrity these days is not easy, they explain issues clearly and honestly and priced at a fair rate. They're busy and you should call ahead to schedule appointments. I've been using their service for over three years and I've had issues where I drop off the car the night before, but they forgot about it, and serviced it late the following day. I've experienced the typical upselling techniques of pushing products when unnecessary so make sure you know what you're going in to; however, I continue to return and do business with them because of proximity convenience and are consistent with pricing. I give them four stars because they're seriously lacking in the customer service department. They could use some "soft" skills such as simply saying "good-bye" or "thanks" at the end of transactions. I feel like I'm being rushed on the phone or in the store, similar to ordering takeout at a local restaurant.

First time customer, could not be more impressed with this shop - 10/10 will be coming back. Fuel sensor went out on my 1500, called Monday to schedule a new fuel pump and they said they could have me scheduled Thursday of the same week (2 other shops told me later the following week or even 3 weeks out). With ample communication, the shop was finished Friday morning (would’ve been same day but I also had an oil change and front brake calipers replaced - driver side had a significant leak (which I knew about beforehand, but they noticed it on the lift and offered to replace - I opted to do both sides)) Parking lot is a bit hectic, but that’s partly due to the gas station/deli (also highly recommended for sandwiches). Immediate service and on my way within half an hour. I needed a battery, they told me to come in. They immediately checked my battery, it was low. I asked them to install a new battery. They installed a new battery within 20 minutes and I was on my way. Great service.

I was not due for an oil change for awhile but a few weeks ago my car was making this awful sound and the oil light kept coming on and off. Finally I went to check the oil and it was COMPLETELY DRY!!! Why was my oil empty and there is no leaks!!! My entire engine could have been ruined !!! Never again!

Years ago I lived closer to Getty. My grandmother, mom and I were Bob's customers. We trusted him. I still trust him. On a Saturday morning, I went out of my way to have Bob check the car's belly when I thought I may have caused damage the evening before. Bob put the car on a lift and told me I didn't do any damage. What a relief!

I don't give 5-star reviews to car places until I have some history with them but my first visit here was satisfactory. Polite guy at the front desk, work performed as requested. Reasonable price and turnaround time.

The entire team at Upper Gwynedd Service Center is very professional, knowledgeable and reliable. We have taken our cars to the for years and have always been pleased with the outcome knowing that they have been thorough and reliably do what is necessary. I just finished another visit and as usual the Team delivered very high quality and professional work.

These guys were awesome. The starter on my daughter's Jeep Wrangler decided it was done. Called these guys on a Friday going into a holiday weekend. Had the car towed to their place and they had it done the following afternoon. Fast, honest and good work! Lifesavers!

Busy shop but they have lots of bays. I've had no problem scheduling appointments. They are capable of working on foreign and domestic vehicles. I've had my old Volvo in a few times and have gotten excellent, timely service every time.

I screwed up the other day and drove over a short tree stump, not realizing how low my minivan sits with 6 people in it. It scraped under the van and I was worried I may have messed up my hybrid battery. Upper Gwynedd Service Center was able to get me right in and lift the van to see what damage I may have done. Luckily I only messed up the protective cover under the van.

Upper Gwynedd Service Center always provides quality service but, just as important, they are trustworthy. I asked for a maintenance service recently because I thought it might be time to get it done. They looked at it and said that it actually was good and there was no need to get it done and didn’t charge me anything. That means a lot to me and I will continue to take all of my cars there

This seems to be be a reliable and honest auto repair shop. I have used them a few times now and work nearby so the service is convenient. The staff is pleasant and they seem like they take pride in their work.

I've been going to UG Service Center for over 25 years. I have always been highly satisfied with their work. They are honest and open about repairs and cost. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Best service and communication I've ever gotten from an auto mechanic. Props to Josh and the team for solving our van's electrical problem, then standing by their service and solving it again when things went wrong.

Got me in on a late last minute notice when my starter went and was able to get my vehicle back on the road efficiently very reasonable pricing. Will be coming to them in the future. highly recommended A+++ mechanics

My husband and I have been going to Upper Gwynedd Service center for years. We always have fast and reliable service. I often wait for my car when I get an oil change. And they even offer a free cup of coffee at the mini mart. I find the staff to be courteous and kind. We won't take our cars any where else.

Will never ever go to this shop ever again. Horrible experiences on the two times i went. First visit I had a check engine light and they said it was an oxygen sensor and charged me $330 dollars to get it fixed. This was before i had a code reader for my car. I saw the oxygen sensor that was brand new in my engine. It was so accessible. I highly doubt that the sensor and the labor was nearly worth $330. What a ripoff. Second visit. I wanted an inspection and a synthetic oil change. My control arms were fine and they said the control arm bushings need to be replaced. Me at the mercy, i said ok fix. Ever since i got the car back i heard a buckling sound when i went up bumps and drive ways in the control arm. So they either replaced the bushings and not the whole control arm like recommended. Replaced the bushings /control arm poorly and messed up. Or messed with my bushings and didn't replace anything. I didnt' think too much of it at the time. They charged me $700 for that visit when it should have been just an oil change and inspection. 1 year later i needed 1 new control arm on the side of the buckling sound, an outer tie rod on the same side, and 2 new rear sway bar links from mechanics that knew what they were doing and did good work. Those mechanics only charged me $460 including the wheel alignment. They must try and cheat the Merck campus employees that leave their car there before walking back to work. Will never give them a chance to work on any of my cars again and i recommend going to JN automotive on the same corner right next to them instead. They are way more honest, reasonable, and do better work. Funny thing is that i asked them one time what is the shop on the corner over there. I asked if they were associated since it was so close. I was talking about JN automotive. They lied and said that they mainly do body work. They have a body shop yes but they have a three bay garage and do tons of car repair and are constantly busy. JN auto is not my go to mechanics but do much better work for being so close to my job.

Just went for flat tires. However, they messed with my front right struts and told me they were bad. Which they were not when I went to just get flat fixed. They wanted to also charge me $1000 for both side. What a coincidence, when this my 2nd car they did this to.

Prices ARE STEEP. Started off taking Wifes truck there , standard oil change and emissions/ inspection. $200 bill being they charged us $39.00 to replace a standard bulb in the taillight . Now she moved onto another car an hit us for $450.00 for simple oil change, emissions & single axel'd breaks. WOW!

Great service, showed up with a flat tire. They fixed the tire under 20 min for a very reasonable price and gave me a warning about the status of the tire (without trying to upsell me).

A convenient place to get your car worked on. I find the prices to be hit or miss with some jobs being a lot more than expected. Others seem reasonable. Transparent staff. Good communication.
