Sold me an overpriced battery and then refused to install it even though they advertise free installs. The employee who sold me the battery stated “I don’t do battery installs” the second after he printed my receipt. They did give me a refund, but if you are going to refuse to install batteries you shouldn’t advertise that you will.
I got a battery for $100 less right down the road at Mavis and they even squeezed in a quick install for me at the end of their day no problem. I will never buy another car battery from Advance Auto again.
I'm so thankful for Sean helping me out. My car died twice and had to be jumped, I was so worried it was alternator or starter. Thankfully he was able to test it and found out my battery was the culprit. Sean was so kind with helping install my new battery, even though it was a bit more difficult due to the type of car I had. He didn't let that stop his determination to help me out. Thank you so much Sean. I really appreciate it.

Very nice the gentleman in the store was very helpful and nice far drive for me but I go there again so thank you very much this store is better than the hbg store
Very helpful and helped me greatly with installing my car battery for free. The only thing to complain about is the short staffing increases the amount of wait time.

Was here last night and did not have a good experience. The employees were not very nice/ helpful. Also, the one employee pulled out a knife and was playing with it while I was at the counter.
My husband's car needed a battery so we stopped in to purchase one. Our salesman was Chris and not only was he very helpful with our purchase but he offered to remove the old battery and install the new one at no extra charge. Ten minutes later, we were on our way. Chris gave great customer service! Thank you!
Just as nice as any other local Advance Auto. The parking lot is a bit tight. This store is not as big as other stores in the franchise, but it is clean with full shelves. The young man who worked with us was well-spoken and helpful.
Wanted to replace burnt out bulbs in my 2004 chevy truck. They ordered the bulbs they said would work. They were not the right bulbs. When I returned them ( box was opened but not bag inside with builds) they refunded the cost plus tax of bulbs only. I was told they don't refund shipping. Yet they told me these were right for my truck! Be careful everyone.
Good prices, and helpful staff. On rare occasion in the past I have gotten the feeling my being there is a bit of a bother to the staff but lately they have been great. My go to store for auto parts.
Took in a dead battery (8 months old) and would not replace even under warranty. Shawn ( he told me he was the manager but cooperate told me he was not) was very rude and arrogant and actually laughed at me twice. I know this was because I am a woman and tried to degrade me. Took my car to a dealership to make sure it was not an issue with the car. Every test the dealership ran, the result was "bad battery". Advanced Auto said they could not trust a dealership test results even though I had the results with me but Shawn had no interest in reviewing them. I called the store where I purchased it and they agreed to replace it. In the meantime, I contacted corporate and within an hour, the Palmyra store called and told me they would replace it. Shawn has no respect for women and was very demeaning. He should NEVER deal with female customers. Little does he know my ex was a mechanic and I worked with him and am knowledgeable in the mechanics of cars. Would give them a 0 rating. Would never advise any woman to walk into this particular store unless you want to be targeted for being a woman.
Went there looking for an item.. I had my doubts about it.. the person working offered advice and an honest opinion.. I decided against buying the item but offered my gratitude for not wasting money on a purchase that wasnt going to help me out.
I went to this store last Monday for the first time and I had the most ideal help from Tony, one of the associates. He gave me all the guidance and assistance for helping me select and how to install my new headlight bulbs. Definitely will come back again. Again, thanks for all your help!
They were a huge help when I had to replace the exhaust system on my 2002 Ford Focus. They were able to look it up and get me the exact exhaust that I needed to go back in.
My battery died while I was traveling, so I brought it into the nearest store -- this one -- for warranty replacement. Due to various rules the store has to follow, it was a bit more complicated than anticipated. It was understandable, however, and the guys were super helpful, professional, and thorough. They worked hard within the rules they had to follow to make sure I was still taken care of and didn't run into any gotchas. In the end, I got my battery replaced under warranty and I was on my way. Great experience, considering the circumstances.
I wish I would've took notice to the young gentleman that helped me but he was a great help. If it helps with giving him any credit, he was stocky about 5'8" reddish orange hair.
Very disappointed with this store! I bought a valve cover gasket for my car and the clerk opened it to show me it was the right one. I ended up not needing it and went to take it back a week later. When I brought it in the clerk opened the box and looked at it again. Then they told me that they won't take gasket returns if the box is open. This is crazy especially since they were the ones who opened it both times. I guess that's how they make sure it doesn't get returned. I will never buy parts there again and I advise anyone who is thinking of it to go elsewhere.
Great place for knowledgeable employees. .great service also...and honesty a plus..if they can't help you they will suggest other places...they got my vote..so do there.....
Just went to get wiper blades but the wiper companies always make that harder than it should be. The guy behind the counter knew much more than I did, even to the fact that my car has different wipers depending on if it is a hatchback or sedan (that makes no sense but it is true!).
Nothing to brag or complain about. Pretty cut and dry visit. If you're looking for vehicle specific parts call ahead of time to ensure the parts are stocked and available, this will save you, the employee, and other customers from wasting valuable time and irritability. Always remember, DON'T BE "THAT" GUY!
As person who knows very little about auto parts and repairs, I appreciate being able to enter a store like this where they are super knowledgeable and helpful... and they don't treat you like the idiot that you might actually be when it comes to cars! I would definitely recommend this place to all levels of auto parts buyers!
