This review is primarily concerning their failure to properly train some members of their management team. I bought a box of 5 drinking glasses marked 4.99. The day before I had bought two boxes, each marked with the same price, each with the same design glasses, just different size. This box of 5 matched all the other ones I had already purchased, but there were only 5. Then I discovered the 6th matching glass on the shelf, priced individually. Clearly this was a mistake in the pricing department, not unlike pricing a frying pan separate from its lid. When the cashier asked the manager to come out to resolve the issue, I expected an easy resolution for such a clear oversight. What I got instead was a curt “whatever it’s priced that’s what we have to sell it for” and she returned to her office. Are managers in a store to correct mistakes when they see them? Or merely to show the customer who’s boss? Are there Goodwill police that I’m not aware of who are ready to punish a manager who tries to fix something? Please don’t hide behind the line “there’s nothing I can do”. You are the manager and there IS a right thing and a wrong thing you can do. Choose the right thing, and if you don’t want to, then be honest and say “I don’t care to help you.” Incidentally, I could have easily slipped the single glass into the box where it belonged with the price tag not showing. But I tried being honest

If you find your minimum wage position unsatisfactory, perhaps considering other employment options would be beneficial. It appears to be neither personally fulfilling for you nor conducive to a positive customer experience. This is a sentiment I conveyed to one of the two managers at this particular Goodwill location. Both managers consistently exhibit a negative demeanor, which seems to permeate the entire staff. While everyone experiences occasional difficult days, and even challenging weeks, this situation has persisted for months, now extending to two years. During the Christmas season, one manager rather sharply stated, "Next time, I would appreciate it if you arrived earlier!" I had been considering two particular items. Recognizing that closing time was approaching, we brought these items to the front, and I informed her that I intended to purchase everything together. At 7:50, twenty minutes later, I proceeded to pay for the remaining items and looked for the larger pieces we had previously placed near the door. Upon inquiring about their whereabouts, she curtly informed me that they do not hold items for customers and that they had been returned to the floor. I explained, "I was attempting to assist you by preventing the need for another employee to leave a register and transport two heavy items from the back of the store! Now you are reprimanding me for not arriving at a time more convenient for you?" There were also three other individuals checking out after me, so I guess they were also inconsiderate of her time, as well. It is worth noting that I am a familiar customer. I, too, would prefer to visit at a more convenient time; however, my work schedule unfortunately does not permit such flexibility. In approximately 20 of our visits, the employees have appeared visibly unhappy and disengaged, which is quite evident. I have purchased items that were non-functional or ceased to work within a day. On one occasion, I acquired what was advertised as a "set" of aromatherapy humidifiers, which turned out to be only the top and the machine itself, lacking other components. While the selection of goods is commendable, the overall atmosphere is rather unpleasant and off-putting.

I love Goodwill. I have been shopping and donating there over a decade. I am so disappointed with this branch. I wish one of your cashier got more trained and had better attitude.

All I want to say avoid this location for all cost. Unfortunately one of cashier was way disgusting. She work against Goodwill. Shame on her.

Horrible experience with one of the cashiers. The line was long and she came later to help the other two ladies. (I knew the other two cashiers. The middle aged lady and the curly haired lady with glasses. They are always nice and helpful). But this young lady was not helpful at all. She refused to sell me some items that I wanted to purchase, just because of missing price tags. I’ve been to many Goodwill stores all around the US but never treated like that after spending long time in a long line. That lady needs more training on customer care. Her attitude was not pleasant at all.

Found the staff unhelpful and very aggressive at times, it's not my fault if an item has no price? So get a manager and find a price, don't be belligerent??

wow this place has really gone downhill, the prices have been jacked up ridiculously and the new employees look like they hate their life and are definitely not the nicest.

Goodwill? More like Bad Intentions! Who do they think they are trying to get full price of a brand new item, for a used item, that was GIVEN TO THEM FOR FREE? Either they hire the most uneducated people on the face of the Earth to price out their products, not knowing brand names and their lesser rivals, AT ALL, or they train them to rip off the customers, squeezing every penny, on every item, even if it means selling it for the same price they can get brand new, in a retail store, in hopes the customers will be as uneducated as themselves. Prove me wrong! Go take walkthroughs of cheap retailers, like Five Below and the Dollar trees and take notes on pricing on hot items and then simple items like drinking glasses, then Go check out Goodwill and compare! They literally will sell an item for $10 that's sold in five below for $5 or they'll try to sell cheap drinking glasses for $2 each when you can get them brand new at the Dollar tree for $1.25!

Rebecca from the Warminister PA Store gave me the worst Goodwill experience I ever had everything about her attitude was totally disgusting. I will never shop there again. I will be sure to post this on all my social media profiles. I will never shop there again.

I frequent this goodwill often and it is usually very well organized and have found some great deals on sticker of the week items. Dollar store items being marked up and sold, as well as inconsistent prices are par for the course at most thrift stores these days. That I can overlook but the way I was treated by an employee tonight was extremely uncalled for. Before I entered the dressing room at 7:25 said employee rudely told me they were closing at 8 and that the dressing rooms were closing soon. I assured her I’d be quick and if there were any issues to knock and let me know— she said nothing to the woman who entered the other dressing room as I was approaching the open one. I brushed it off and she made the announcement 5 minutes later at 7:30 saying the dressing rooms were closing and 2 minutes later she aggressively opened my dressing room door which I failed to lock completely in my frenzy to try on 2 pairs of jeans and a sweatshirt. She not only scolded me for the unlocked door but accused me of being in there for 15 minutes. I kindly corrected her and said to please let e get dressed and I would be out as soon as I did that. To my amazement the store was still full of people shopping and I was at the register before the final announcement was made to bring purchases to the register which everyone else in the store ignored without her saying anything to them. The cashier even apologized for her coworkers behavior towards me. I will no longer shop at this location if the lady with short brown hair is working. She was completely out of line, disrespectful, unprofessional and I felt targeted by her. I was more in shock at the time than angry. She should not work in retail with an attitude like that and I would think she’d look under the door before or knock before barging in. On a happier note, I got a barely worn pair of Joe’s jeans for 9.99; they retail for $150+. I was out of the store 15 minutes prior to closing, baffled by the way I was treated.

My daughter and I love a good girls day thrift trip. We looked forward to visiting Goodwill each time... well we USED to. It got to the point where there was a literal $1 dollar tree sticker on a barbie, and my daughter got upset when I told her she couldn't have it because goodwill was asking $3.99 for it. Are you CRAZY? If you want to try something like that, take the retail sticker off at least... the prices are truly unreasonable. If you want to support this and that blah blah at least do it with pride and respect to those who are purchasing items @ your location by checking comp prices. We've since replaced Goodwill with Good Stuff thrift just a few minutes away... best decision we've ever made. Good luck as it seems many others feel this way as well..........................

Goodwill more like Greedwill. They have this audacity to charge more for items than they were at like Target dollar spot. You will find what you are looking for more times than not but you'll pay way more than you should at a thrift. There's minimal employees there and they're not courteous at all. Don't even get me started on parking - the set up for the lot is tight and dumb and there's only a single handicap spot. People rush around the corners so be careful!

This store is just a donation front for their online store. Nothing of value to be found. Some things are reasonable and others are way overpriced. I saw some questionable items today while in the store. A clearly used toilet brush, an urn (with some ashes still visible inside), and a pet urn. The toilet brush should have never been donated and it should have never made it to the shelf. Update: I decided to stop by again today, but I was deeply disappointed again. The shelves were nearly empty, and what was available felt like overpriced junk. It’s clear that anything of real value is being funneled to their online store to maximize profit. The physical storefront seems to be an afterthought — just a donation drop-off, not a genuine retail space. You won’t find a single name-brand item in the store; all of those are posted online. It’s sad because the money from these sales doesn’t appear to be going directly back into the local community. I’m still unclear about Goodwill’s mission, and their vague mission statement doesn’t seem to align with what they pay their employees.

Goodwill has become quite greedy with their high prices. A big problem I often find here is that they don't fully check the items and they're incomplete or damaged and they mark the prices based on what they find by searching the items photo online. It's sad!

There are many varied and well organized wares. It mostly carries women's clothes, but also has a good selection of men's clothing. The children's clothing is smaller in comparison, but has some really good buys here, too. The back section is where you can find general wares, including pillows, toys, kitchen wares, art, frames, and books, among other items. The prices are similar to other thrift shops and each week features a color tag that from Wednesday to Monday are half price and on Tuesday are all $2.00 unless half price is a better deal. The staff also are friendly and helpful.

The pricing of thrift store items should always be to accommodate those who are trying the save money or don’t have much to spend. Seeing the prices of some of the clothes in this store is quite shocking. There is a Ross down the road and I recommend that anyone trying to save money go there instead. You get NEW clothes for the same price if not a little more than this goodwill. Sure, the money goes to foundations, however it seems counterintuitive to raise the prices where you could easily get more money by lowering the prices, hence attracting a plethora of new customers. Shame on you

The store is clean, neat, and well-organized. I appreciate that the staff takes the time to sort clothing by color on the racks. Although the store was a bit busy, the cashier took the time to sign me up for the loyalty program and explain the discounts to me. I saved $7!

I have been to TONS of thrift stores in my life and this is by far my favorite one to go to out of all of them! The prices here are actually extremely reasonable and fair and the inventory is amazing! I try to go here at least one a month and I have never left here without something in hand. 10/10 would recommend this place.

please wrap fragile objects or give customers the paper to wrap items themselves! after checkout with multiple glass items, as soon as i paid, the cashier immediately turned around and walked into the back storage area, leaving me with all my things loose on the counter. paper was behind the register and of course i do not want to step behind an unattended register. because of this, one of my items broke in the parking lot, which is pretty frustrating and disappointing.

If you find an item without a tag and bring it to their attention they treat you like a criminal. It doesn’t matter if you have 20 items in your cart with tags they will make the mental leap you were the one that removed the tag. They then refuse to price the item when they could easily run along to the processing side of the store and get something accomplished. It’s almost like other customers experienced this before and now take tags off merch and leave them just for spite. I hope more people do this in an effort to make these people more miserable. I’ve been to many goodwills throughout the states and this one has the most adversarial relationship with its customers. You can give the store a facelift but you can’t change the attitudes of your disgruntled staff.

This Goodwill is now listing all video games exclusively on their auction site, one lady snagged a game I was looking at out of my hand and said that they wouldn't be put out because they were for the website exclusively. Thanks for making this hobby worse and charging top dollar for items you recieve for free that aren't worth as much as you think they are. Basically only good for clothes and CDs at this point. Avoid at all costs.

Big store, pushy an kinda rude staff. Slightly disgusted with the guy I think working in a hoodie that I'm pretty sure worked there following me around the whole time. Mid 30s red a hoodie trying not to seem suspicious watching me. Way to make a paying customer feel uneasy! 2 stars cause I'm feeling nice

The prices at this shop are near retail. And not even retail sales. I saw quite a few things above retail! I did find a couple things I could use at ok prices. Not thrifty at all. But I prefer used to new for reducing impact. I will not be shopping here again.

This Goodwill is getting renovated but you can get around easily! I have found lots of name brand and Designer brands to purchase here! Yesterday was $2.00 Tuesday for the color noof the week! I got brand new Sketchers for $2.00! You have to devote some time to really looking for items but I am retired now and have the time. Please check it out and have some fun!! Customers and Employees are great!!

Overprice nonsense like they aren't a thrift store. Oh and you too can get SATAN for $20 dollars LOL... not even trying to hide they worship the devil here with these prices on what is supposed to be a thrift store.

The items in this store are priced far too high for a charity based thrift store. Also employees consistently put items on the shelves without prices then refuse to price the item at the register. However, they do have a half decent selection of semi fairly priced men’s suits.

This is a large Goodwill location. They have a variety of items. There are a lot of clothes, all kinds. The clothing is somewhat organized. The prices are high for a thrift store. Most items were tagged. I had to search to find an employee, she was unable to answer my question. There was one cashier even though there was a line. The store is clean. There is parking available.

Great selection, great prices, friendly staff. As a single dad who's daughter is growing like a weed, goodwill is the right move.

I entered the store, made my way to the record/Book area, searched through three boxes of lps, a worker hands me a plastic bag of 33 and a third records to look over, had a conversation with another customer, looked over a new box of cassette tapes brought out by the same worker, found a cool Ween cassette, considered if it was worth $1.99, set it on the shelf to look at the tapes more throughly picked up the tape, began looking at the books and then it happened. "Sir, do you have a mask?" "No, I do not!" "Okay, I'll get one for you." "No, I don't want one." "Well Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." "Can I buy this?" Her answer was 'eye roll.' I said, "do you belive in this?" "It doesn't matter, you must leave." I left the wrent-a-wreck tape on the counter and sang 'there's no hope for you here now go away' a bit of a paraphrase of the White Stripes tune. I couldn't actually remember what caustic remark I made to the clerk so I wrote the previous sentence for effect. It was kind of a sheet show; I'll not be returning anytime. I can not wear a mask, because I can't breathe! People need to breathe openly. If you continue to breathe toxins exhaled, stuck on the mask, you will develop hypoxia. This is embarrassing. Someone, everyone needs to stand up and say, "no way!" It's been a year. No one has the flu. Covid -19 (sars-cov-2) has replaced it. Can't you see that? This is a sick joke. Please wake up! This is my followup to your protect the people. The pcr test is fraud!
