B&R used to be a decent place for parts but they have closed all their yards to the public and now it’s incredibly hard to get a hold of anyone on the phone. When you do they only will sell you parts they have in their computers, if you’re wanting a special part that’s on the vehicle but not in their inventory you’re straight out of luck.

The AI system they use told me they had the part i was looking for and even quoted me. I tried to call to verify that all of this would be accurate. Nobody picked up the phone. I end up driving 45 minutes to grab this part only to be told that they don't have it. No sorry, no nothing.

called today looking for a used transmission for my 99 rav4. Miles was incredibly helpful in helping me find a used transmission. Ive used B&R a couple times before and after today i will use them again. GREAT JOB MILES!!!

Called to see if they had what I needed they did. Was given a quote on part. When picking it up I was then told price was more then what I was told over the phone, to where I was told "let me see what I can do" which resulted in price being reduced down to thr original price I was given. That was cool and very appreciated . Highly recommend this place especially if you don't want to have to go and "U" pull it yourself then go here instead..

Update: Up 1 star to 3/5. I've since ordered more parts. Some were not in the condition as described. They were very good at discounting the parts to an acceptable amount. Still think they should do better with descriptions. Maybe they're getting damaged by staff? Idk. I was so disappointed! I ordered tan leather seats for my expedition. I waited weeks to get them and when they finally arrived... They were grey! Yes grey! They did give me my money back of course, but I wasted so much time! Plus, the condition of the seats were horrible. They looked like they had been sitting outside for a few months getting dirty and sun faded.

Bought replacement glass. Showed up and was given tinted glass. Tinted was not something I asked for or was asked about. They get two stars for getting it in the right shape.

I had purchased a pair of left side doors for my 2017 silverado in early January but I didn't have time to get them installed until now Feb 22. The rear door went on with no problems everything lined up perfectly. But the front door was a problem. It must have been bent from the wreck it was in but looking at it you wouldn't know that it was bent it looks great until you install it. The window frame is bent out about 3 inches. I was thinking i would be out of luck. I had tried calling the store in Lebanon where I bought them and left a message. Then I happened to be in Portland so I stopped by the store on Columbia and the woman that was working there and I told her about the problem I was having so she called the Lebanon store and explained what happened and let me talk to them and they are going to send a replacement to the Portland store so I can pick it up there. That's awesome customer service in my opinion. I had a repair shop in Portland for 26 years and I purchased a lot of parts from them over the years and this is why. They are a stand out company in the wrecking yard business. They did the right thing without any hassle.

They have good prices. I would not buy another seat from them it was covered in mold. Good for metal engine parts

Bought a transmission from them through eBay, and it was bad. After some time, they helped me out with the Warranty, and they were able to provide me with a refund. Michael was of great help throughout the whole process. I will continue to buy from them in the future.

Chip at the Boring Oregon store helped me locate a difficult to find Audi part at a great price! He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I wasn’t expecting this level of service from a used part store. Very happy with my experience and would recommend him to any of my friends.

It’s a wrecking yard. I got a window. It was packed in bubble wrap nicely. The window was in good shape. Price was fair. If you are looking for better priced auto parts, try used. Try here.

To the lady who was working the closing shift Tuesday 6/25/24, you are rude and you need to learn how to treat customers! Kevin was absolutely wonderful and handled us with kindness. We paid in advanced for a part but got there 3 mins after closing. Employees were still there but The women working was so so rude after we told her how long we drove and that we already paid all she said was nope sorry computers are down. Kevin opened up the doors for us and helped us. Thanks Kevin and only kevin!!!!

I received the driver side door instead of the passenger door and was lied to about the condition. There was metal brackets and sharp pieces of metal welded to the door with slag splatter around all the welds. I brought the door back and it took 3 more weeks to receive the correct door with zero communication. Every time I called they said it's almost here. Well almost here turned into 3 weeks with me calling to check every few days and when it was finally in Portland nobody called me. Also no discount for all the hassle and my time spent.

I can’t think of a worse experience than dealing with B&R. I ordered some parts to the Portland store which were delivered. I should not have trusted the staff to identify and locate the correct parts for my car, which was my first mistake. Upon learning that they had ordered the wrong parts, I went through the long and painful process of returning the parts. Apparently, only the person who originally sold me the parts was able to return the parts and then re-order the correct parts for my car. It took days to get that person to return my call, the whole time my car was sitting at the shop, and I was unable to use it. After I had finally returned the incorrect parts and order the new ones, I expected the trouble to end, but over a week later, I called to see when my parts were going to be in, and I was told that they actually didn’t have the parts to begin with, and that they were going to try to track down the parts at a different shop. I’m not sure why I had to wait a week and a half to figure this information out. Throughout this whole process, each time I asked to talk to a manager I was told that the only person who could help me was the original person who ordered my parts who was the same person I was never able to get to call me back despite emailing, calling, and texting her. At no point did anyone actually acknowledge a mistake or try to fix the problem, I was just told to talk to the original person who started my order. I would never recommend buying parts from B&R. In the future I’d probably just order off of eBay. Manager never called.

Thay said that they had the part I needed, So I ordered it. First they sent me a link to pay for it that didn't work. When I called them back they were closed. When I called back the next time to order the part they had trouble looking it up. They finally found my order and we did a transaction over the phone. I never got a confirmation email or a tracking number called back in a couple of days they said they sent it out and would send it again. Still didn't get a tracking number when I called back they said that they don't have the part even though my card has been charged now for over 2 weeks. They said they'd issued me a refund however I have not seen a refund yet.

DO NOT USE. BAIT AND SWITCH 2 times on one part! They lied twice and tried to charge me 20% restocking fee for a part they never had. I originally called about a tinted door window for my F250 and they said they have one removed, ready for pickup in Portland. I drove 30 miles to this location just to have them say it's not removed and they need 2 days to remove the part. 2 days for a removal?!? Okay, I paid them for the tinted window in good faith. Called them 2 days later to confirm the part is ready, they said yes. Drove again 30 miles just for them to give me a non-tinted window. I pointed out the non-tint and they said it will be 50% more cost for a tinted one with another week wait transfer from Eugene, OR. One week wait? AND 50% more cost?!? I declined and asked for a refund. The guy at the front counter had the audacity to try to charge me a restocking fee of 20%! I asked for a manager and he flat out refused. Had to argue, explain and ask for another associate just for them to finally give a refund. They lied twice and tried to charge me 20% restocking fee for a part they never had. Never going here again.

I have bought several different parts here. Some are still waiting for me to install. Their website is pretty decent. They will ship to the location closest to you. I don't know if it is still this way but I ordered an item online and wasn't charged shipping. It is probably better to call on a part than get an online quote. The items online don't always match the query.

I have used their other locations many times and had great experiences but this time I needed to get the part from Portland. They quoted me a price for a fender that was only $20 less than new OEM. I also was quoted for nearly $1000 worth of other parts so I had them save my quote and called the next day to go ahead and order the part I needed first and the person that helped me acted very sketchy and acted like the quote was suppose to be higher and then put me on hold saying they needed to check with the original person I spoke with. I stayed on hold till it disconnected. I tried to call back and they would not answer. I tried the call-back option which always got me a call within 5 minutes and they would not call back….I tried this multiple times. I then left 2 messages on the extension for the original person I spoke with and they never called back. I had made it clear that I intended to buy all the parts on my quote but since I got ghosted I’m assuming they do not want my $$ or patronage. I went on eBay and purchased a brand new fender that was perfect for less than what they wanted and got it a day sooner. I highly recommend using another location if you must do business with them. Unfortunately This is the typical experience for me when attempting to use Portland businesses. I wish I could give less than 1 star!

David you are FREAKING AMAZING! If I ever have to buy parts like this again, I will for sure be coming to you. Thank you so much for locating that transmission for us. This company is amazing. I was having such a difficult time locating a transmission for my 95 Chevy and after finding out that when I was able to pay for it, it was already unfortunately sold. But David went above and beyond to locate one for me. Which saved me from having to research for one. Not to mention what a great price and delivered for me. Thank you thank you thank you! I will always refer your company to EVERYONE!

This is a great group to work with. You get to talk with a live person! Mitch gave me his direct number to be back in touch about the part I needed. He stayed in touch with me as he searched their resources. When he could not find it on one of their yards, he found a lead for a company in TN who DID have the part. I'm glad to have it no matter what, but I sure wish I could have given Mitch the sale. As far as I'm concerned this is the best customer service I've seen anywhere in a long time.

Haven't been to the joint google, you of all folks should know that I only called them lookin for a transmission.but just for the records I got their number from a friend of mine who happens to be a master tech and he recommended the joint and therefore I would have to give them a 5

Amazing Service! The replacement engine works perfectly. Do yourself a favor and replace water pumps for the warranty and piece of mind.
