I was referred to Factory Outlet Wheel by a former employee and had a great experience from start to finish. I called and spoke with Gemma, who was polite, professional, and gave me a clear quote of $175 over the phone. When I arrived, he explained the process and estimated about two hours for the repair. The job was completed in about an hour and a half.
I asked for videos and pictures of the damage, and they gladly sent them to my phone so I could see exactly what was going on. I really appreciated that level of transparency. They also checked my other wheels at no charge to make sure there were no additional bends.
The staff was kind, efficient, and professional throughout the entire process. I felt confident in the work they did and was very happy with the service. I would definitely return if I ever need wheel repair again.
Had a bad experience with a different shop in Portland, and Jim has taken the time to educate me, provide guidance on a proper solution, and in general has been a professional person to work with. I also met his others customers picking up their wheels, seen the quality of work, and talked with the other customers about this shops excellent reputation. Highly recommended and will be bringing them my next set of wheels.
Was quoted 3 days for a lip replacement that took 3 months, when I showed up to pay they explained why it took so long, I guess it got pushed to the back. They seemed busy so shrugged it off. What bothered me is when I picked it up my brand new tire had a nail going through the sidewall. I left confused thinking maybe there was a chance I had brought it there like that but after looking at photos I had of the wheel/tire before I brought it in I know I did not drop it off with a giant nail sticking through it. Bummer.
Well it was an experience thats for sure. The actual wheel refinishing was great. All signs of curb rash is gone and they look ok. 6/10. My issue's start with customer service/quality check. Even though they were nice and understanding, picking up my car was a hassle due to lack of communication and time management. Took it in on a Monday and was told it would be ready by Wednesday maybe Thursday. Did not get it till Friday and had to change some plans I had. Also, they left one of my wheels not properly sealed which scared me for sure(had less than 10 psi when I got off work).I really hope I was just unlucky with their customer service which is why I still recommend them, just be ready for anything. Over-sprayed on one of the wheels. 🙂
Great experience! Jim the owner was very responsive, willing to quote via pictures of my wheels, and had them done within a couple days at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Jim and his team did a fantastic job fixing the bent alloy wheel on my Subaru Impreza. Fair, friendly, and super-helpful. They even removed my bent wheel, installed my spare, and put the repaired wheel back on, so I didn't have to mess with the dinky jack my car came with. Highly recommended!
So happy someone picked up the business, big shoes to fill. Had my 1977 Porsche 15” Fuchs wheels polished in 2002 by Skips Wheel Works and they still look great. This photo is from today and yes the lugs need repainting, thats on me.

terrible ill never go back, i was told my wheel would be resealed and leak free within a week, it took them way longer and never once had any updates on the progress, I had to keep calling to find out what was going on and still it wasnt finished. when i finally picked up the wheel way later than promised it still had a leak and the seal job was mediocre at best. idk if this was an isolated incident or not but my experience was horrible.
Jim is the freaking best!!! I gave him 4 of my racing dynamic wheels off my 525 BMW wagon. All 4 were bent and 1 had some curb rash. Not only did he fix the curb rash, but he fixed all 4 bends. My 24-year-old vehicle rides like a DREAM! I cannot fathom how much happiness this brings me. I highly recommend anyone in the PNW area who needs wheel repairs done, talk to Jim.

Very easy to work with. Refinished all 4 of my 20" rims. Took a little longer than I would have liked, however, they did a great job and they look fantastic. After thought is I respect them for taking longer to do the job right and not cutting corners.

Excellent experience. Rarely have I come across a business and owner who hits all the marks... the team at Factor Wheel does excellent work with excellent customer service. Jim was fantastic. Flexible to get the restoration of my four wheels moving quickly. Also the work was done when he said! No bull there, just did what he said he would do. The wheels came back looking new and all the scratches and ware were gone.
Jim is a great business person. He understands the customers. He was flexible, provided good suggestions, helped with references, and excellent follow-up.

Jim and his crew worked magic on my rims, I apparently park by feel vs sight 😅 They were able to fix some fairly excessive curb rash and absolutely nailed the burnt bronze color I was going for! Absolutely would recommend them and will be using them again!

My wife hit a pothole with her C7 Corvette, black rims. Had significant damage to one of her wheels. Jim was able to restore it to brand new condition. Great Job!
Factory Wheel Outlet and Jim were fantastic to work with. They returned my 20-plus-year-old Buddy Club P1s from Japan to new condition! We even painted the color to match my 98 Civic Type R. They will remove your old tires and balance your new tires, which was a huge plus and time saver, new valves and all! I'm thrilled to have been referred here by a friend, and I will return and recommend them to my friends needing wheel repair! Thanks again!
Driving in recent Ice storm hit frozen piece of steel on I-405 in Portland over MLK weekend. bent alloy rim on Volvo V60, sent pic to other wheel shop and they said they could not fix it. New wheel from dealer was $750.00. Called Jim at Factory Wheel Outlet and he said bring it in we'll fix it if we can, and no charge if it doesn't work. He fit me in on a super busy holiday when 3 of his staff could not make it in due to ice storm. Wheel fixed, fair price, honest dude. Side note: took car in to Les Schwab after fix to get alignment and all wheels checked, told them about FWO and they said, "oh yeah, if Jim fixed it then it is good, he is the expert, we send all of our wheel repairs to him." nuf said.
I bought these wheels off of someone who was trying to restore them from looking like hot garbage and I ended up landing at Factory Wheel Outlet to have them restore these wheels and holy cow! They took these wheels which were bent! Curbed! Broken! And all around just looking like a steaming pile of dump to looking brand spanking new. I am more than satisfied with the repair they did for these wheels! On top of that, the turn around for these wheels was mind blowing, it only took a little less than a week from drop off to have these wheels restored and ready for pickup! If I ever need this kind of service again in the future I know exactly who to go with!
Wheels look great and brand new! After 12 years they had some decent curb rash, and the paint was starting to flake off. I like the look of my OEM wheels and decided to get them repaired. They even mounted and balanced my new tires. Super happy with the results.

Great work for a great price. They fixed some pretty bad curb rash and blacked out my rims. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs any work done on their rims.
I don't typically do reviews but I think these guys deserve a shout-out!! I've had two sets of wheels redone and they look amazing and brand new. Work was completed in about a week. If you need your wheels worked on this is the place!

Took my VW wheels here to get refinished! My paint was faded and I had curb rash on pretty much every one. It did take them awhile and unfortunately I missed a car show, but Jim gave me a good deal for the wait and delivered them! The wheels look like new again and very happy with the way they came out! Skip's never fails to deliver top-quality service. I've been having them mount tires on my various sets of 20" wheels since 2012 which most places in town either can't do, or can't do without damaging the wheels. I know I'll always get a flawless job done by them. Just picked up another 2 sets today that they did for me! I will always keep going back.
He also does absolutely beautiful restoration jobs on wheels, I had a set of BBS 3-piece wheels back in 2000 that he had refinished right when a friend sold them to me and they looked brand new.
If i could give them 10 stars i would.. They recently finished rebuilding my 2001 SAAB or "SAAB STORY" as it came to be known.. A 01 Saab 9-5 turbo v6, A nightmare of a job that no other shop in town wanted anything to do with, They took on my 5 year headache and had it back to me in no at all!! We had the wheels painted matte black on our Cayenne. Jim understood what we were wanting. He had good communication and flexible prompt timing with getting the car in and the completion. We are happy with the results!
