Absolutely the worst service experience I’ve ever had. I took my Massimo unit to Fort’s Industrial Engines because they were one of the closest certified shops that could handle warranty work. When I first called, I explained all of this clearly and was quoted $80 for pickup and drop‑off. They kept my unit for over two months, and every time I followed up, I got a new excuse — first they were “waiting on parts,” then their garage door was broken so they “couldn’t test” my unit. After all that time, I finally received a voicemail saying my total was $750.05, even though the entire point of bringing it there was to have the repairs covered under warranty. When I called to question the charge, I was told the warranty information was never added to my file, even though I explained it from day one. I had to send proof of purchase myself and basically walk them through their own warranty process. Days later, the claim still wasn’t submitted. I contacted Massimo directly and got answers immediately — something Fort’s couldn’t manage in weeks. The owner’s wife, Cindy, was extremely rude every time I spoke with her. They submitted a claim for $360 in parts, which should have left my balance around $390.05. Instead, when I called to pay, I was suddenly told the total was $471, and the mileage fee I was originally quoted was “wrong.” When I explained what I was told, I was treated like a liar and hung up on. After two months of delays, excuses, rude treatment, and doing most of the warranty work myself, I paid the bill just to be done with this place. I would never recommend Fort’s Industrial Engines to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, their communication is worse, and they showed zero respect for my time.

Horrible 2k experience. Said part wasn't available needs new motor, got old motor back in a million pieces, new motor too big so they just cut the hood up to fit!

What I absolutely did "not" like is the "attitude" that was given by the woman in the office when I had questions about my bill . Attitude's are unappreciated when a customer is spending hard earned money! 2nd the mechanic did not know that there was no break fluid. Isn't that one of the most "simplest" jobs a mechanic has I thought. Totally unsatisfied with the service

We paid John to work on our car our car car has been sitting there since December of 2024 it's been their a lot longer sad things is he's my grandpa we was told by John that is was our engine so we contacted Dodge company because our car was making a ticking noise and they told us that all avgengers makes that noise and John charged us 300-400 $ for this and all and it was only the router I have never experienced any thing like this in my life I would not recommend going to him for anything I think he's holding a grudge from when we lived in his house on poplar the house wasn't liveable at all my fiance was pregnant at the time we asked him to fix the stair case and in the basement was mold we almost got sick he refused to fix anything in the house also when we first got into the house from the previous residence that was there they left all their belongings because they had rats roaches and bed bugs in the house the paint was chipping on the porch we found out that it was lead paint and we moved immediately and every since he's been holding grudges we did not pay him when we moved because it was so terrible to live in the situation but then when summer time came he repaired everything for his son to move in so don't rent any houses or let him work on your car he is horrible

Absolutely horrible experience. They had our riding mower for a day short of 7 weeks and nothing was fixed. After being told a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks, and giving them 4 weeks with no call as to the status of the work being completed we began calling. Told time after time we would be receiving a call, which never happened. Multiple calls later we asked them to return our mower as we didn’t wish to wait any longer. A new belt was put on and that was as far as they got. Upon John’s arrival to return the mower we were greeted with a smug, nasty attitude. He even went so far as to make fun of the tires on a family members car that was in my driveway. He refused to deduct any money for the inconvenience caused by not having our mower for 7 weeks. I have never dealt with a business like this in my life. Take my advice…do not call them for your repair needs. $180 down the drain. BBB will be contacted as well.
