Our bus was stuck and we requested their services due to a recommendation. When we called we were told 20 minutes as they are right down the road. It took an hour and 20 minutes for them to arrive. They got the bus unstuck, but the bus driver had to hook up the chains for the tow. After we got unstuck, they were very unhelpful and only worried about getting paid.
Their was sod cakes in front of the back wheels, they did not assist with anything, we had to take care of it ourselves. Because of how slow the response time was it through our entire day off schedule. Do not recommend unless no other options.
They are rude, incompetent and unhelpful. They don't know what they are doing. When you try to talk to them or ask them questions they act superior. The car was towed to their lot . We were told by them it wasn't drivable. We paid to have it towed home only to find out it was drivable. They told the insurance company it was totaled. That's bad business. They charged for things they didn't do. Would never recommend. I don't want to even give 1star but I had to to post this
Bob Smith is just a amazing person everyone use this company he has a heart he cares about others I was stranded I locked my keys in my car he came very quickly and help me out so much I can’t tell you want he did for me cause everyone would want the same treatment but god bless this owner of this company thank you so much Bob

Great experience, from calling in to dropped off at my home. Everyone was friendly, got a ballpark price and only waited 10 minutes for a flatbed tow. The driver Dylan was great. Hooked up my suburban without damaging it, he was super friendly, he was courteous and safe transporting me and my vehicle home. I highly recommend.
Terrible customer service. Very rude office staff and OUTRAGEOUS prices. Tow Driver was nice, that’s about all the good I can say about this company. If you’re ever in an accident…. DO NOT USE this company, unless you have almost $1000 to get your vehicle back. They have no compassion whatsoever, they know they are robbing people and don’t care. I would give zero stars if I could!
The Sherri's office had my car towed here because car got stuck in snowstorm. $321 just to get it back. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. PRICES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! Lady didn't care i was unhappy! Worst experience in my life

The ladies are very friendly. They allow you to go in pick up any personal items that you may have left in the car which some towing companies will not let you do.But those prices are ridiculous. They charge $75 for cleanup after an accident I went back to the scene and there was pieces of the car all over the place it's like they didn't do anything at all. It wasn't like there was a lot of pieces left over to begin with. They tell you the storage fee is $25 a day when in fact all together it's $50 a day. Instead of saying the storage fee is $25 they should tell people it's going to be $50
Dave absolutely saved our butts after Inkcarceration Fest. We only had the ignition key to my MILs car, not the door key. He showed up super late at night for us, and way quicker than we thought he would and was so cool the entire time.
Legitimately wouldn't have got home without this business, and his help. 5 stars all across the board.

Our moving truck broke down, heck of an inconvenience, Kevin got the call and showed up quickly. In the matter of minutes had the truck hooked and drive shift pulled. Gave my 2 crew members and myself a ride back to the shop while towing the truck. Awesome guy and great company!!!! Highly recommend ??
Called to see if they did road calls. They don't other than towing. That's fine.
Used them many years ago when my drive twisted a drive shaft. They took care of it in a timely manner.

Had my car stuck in the snow and was impounded shellys a great person and has a big heart. Would definitely recommend to anyone as long as your not stuck on Walker lake rd. Lol

The owners boy is Very rude . When I told him I left money in my car he went all through the car trying to find it. lucky for me he wasn't able to find it. He made me wait for a day before he let me back in my car. I wouldn't trust Shelly's son with anything I didn't mind loosing. Be careful dealing with him. He is definitely a rude person and isn't trustworthy at all. He definitely has a control issue.
Called multiple places and was told they didnt have time to help...called shelly smith and sons and within 30 minutes they towed my car from my home to the auto shop. Will never call anyone but them again. The person that answered the phone and the guy who towed my car were both very polite.
I was unfortunate enough to have my motorhome with an attached race car trailer break down 2.5 miles from Mid Ohio race track. I called Shelly Smith and then said they could tow me but it would be expensive. You're broken down and disrupting traffic. No one else to turn to. Short story, they showed up and couldn't hook onto the motorhome. They did hook a chain and were going to flat tow us to the track. They pulled us about 100 ft. and the motorhome transmission was working again. We followed them to the track. Less than an hour work, $800.00! We had the motorhome towed to Columbus to get fixed. The tow company from Columbus deadheaded to Mid Ohio and towed the motorhome back to Columbus for $1064. Hmmm, maybe someone was taken advantage of?
Well, I can't say that I enjoyed going here. My car was towed to their impound lot, twice in a week (and honestly, not by any fault of my own, but that's not a story for this review). I paid to get it out the first time, no storage fee because I got it right away. The second time, two days later, they tried to charge for storage fees, even though, again, I got it within 24 hours of it being towed. Thankfully, they waived the fee after realizing it hadn't sat there the whole time. So, while it wasn't a pleasant experience, the employees were really quite nice.
This company is the most unethical company I’ve dealt w/in my 30 plus years in business. We had a truck involved in an accident less than thirty minutes from their business and less than 100 feet from the roadway. The police called them, we had no choice in who helped us out, (key word is help)! We informed them (SSS) that we (our company) will pay for the wrecker bill, not the insurance company! In my past experience involving accidents on highways, towing companies like to inflate their bill when an insurance company is paying the bill. They bring out to the accident scene every piece of equipment they own, knowing they only need one piece to handle the job. They charge $150.00 per hour for one man on the scene, and bring about five of them to sit and drink coffee. Low and behold, a less than six hour job yielded a $25,000.00 bill. I know you are asking if there is a zero out of place, there isn’t! To make things worse, they held our cargo hostage, (causing a supplier to shut down their mfg line) and said we couldn’t move our equipment until the bill was paid! Short of an already long story, they reduced their fee $16,000.00 and still wouldn’t let us remove our equipment till we paid the bill. How many times have you had the chance to do business with a company who holds your equipment and cargo hostage, reduce their inflated bill in half, and charge and exorbitant rate for the storage and care of your equipment. Insurance company’s, trucking companies and any other one utilizing this companies (SSS) services hire an attorney first, it will be cheaper. We are following this up w/report to better business bureau!
the most expensive in the area by far. majority of business is from being on a provider list that the police use to tow crashed cars or DUIs and such. the state highway got so many complaints about them price gouging so they actually will use tow companies that are over 40miles away to do alot of the larger crashes. the worst part is the owner, he's a complete scumbag that will rob anyone. funny fact is that one time during a tow, I got out and had my wallet on the seat of truck, three min later my 100$ bill is missing from my wallet and obviously was stolen by him. avoid at all costs, and if you get in a crash in Mansfield Ohio area, hope for u and your insurance company that they don't tow your car
The guy towing our van was nice. The fact that we were charged almost 100.00 to tow the van not even 10 minutes down the road...not so nice. But..I'm sure the owner knew that if he told me that in advance I never would have used them. Won't again. Shame on them for exploiting a situation like that.
Well I'm giving 5 stars only to 2people. The blonde secretary, and I'm assuming the owner. They are kind hearted as for these other 3 individuals I encountered Nah Not kindhearted, must not be related to the 2 that showed concern and offered help. Will not use this company ever again. Towed my motorcycle after accident. Charged me for 2 days of impounding when my bike was picked up by relatives in less than 24hrs, and $150.00 for a 31mile round trip tow.
