Huge shoutout to Josh at Firestone in Troy, NY for outstanding service. He was professional, honest, and took the time to clearly explain what my car needed. The work was handled quickly, communication was excellent, and the whole experience felt straightforward and trustworthy, which isn’t always easy to find with auto repairs. If you need reliable service, I highly recommend asking for Josh at Firestone Complete Auto Care. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance.

I will never go to Firestone ever again! I took my car there to get an oil change picked it up then the next day a light came on, brought it back there and they’re saying it was another problem occurring when it was never occurring before. I dropped my car off. They charge too high for a piece that cost $50. Customer service was so bad there. The lady started arguing with my husband because they didn’t have an exact reason why something was messed up now mind you the piece that was messed up can come from due to an oil change and I when questioning them how did this occur? They gave me five different answers. The one person said they’ve been in that business for 30 years and they never seen this problem happen to a car mind you I have a 2018 car. They are unprofessional there they charge too high. They gave me a price with tax then when I went to pay it’s was something else higher then what they told me. Oooh and one more thing when i brought my car there they try to get me to get something else fixed!!!!! I liked the manager that was there before. His name was Jay. He was great!!!

I’ve had my tires replaced here several times. The staff members are knowledgeable, helpful, and don’t push you on unnecessary repairs. I’ve had the employees explain in detail the function of various car parts and walk me through the pros and cons of preventative maintenance. Overall I’ve had positive experiences, especially give that its a chain location. I recommend this place to other people in the Troy area. Opt for the tire warranty!

Josh ,the current store manager did an awesome job . My boyfriend had gotten a flat tire and when I brought in the tire and wheel he got me right in and found me a tire match . It took about 30 minutes in and out. Good job.

I recently purchased new tires from Tire Rack and selected Firestone for installation. When I dropped off my Jeep, the technician checking me in never asked whether I wanted the white lettering facing in or out. I specifically chose these tires because of the white lettering, so this detail mattered. When I picked up my vehicle, I saw that the lettering had been mounted facing inward. I told the tech this was incorrect, and he said that I should have requested it at drop-off and that they install tires based on how the old ones were mounted. That explanation didn’t make sense because my old tires didn’t have white lettering in the first place. Firestone should have asked during check-in or at least confirmed the preference before installation instead of making assumptions. To make things worse, the tech told me I’d have to make another appointment and pay an additional fee to correct their mistake. I’ve called Firestone customer service twice and have never received a call back. I also completed the service survey which stated I would be contacted, yet no one has followed up. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I will never return for any service and will be sharing this experience with friends and family.

Spent 5 hours waiting here started as an inspection took them 2 hours after they got my car in to tell me I needed more work then I waited until almost 7 for them to tell me they won't be able to finish it. So now I get to stress out about car repairs that are unaffordable before the holidays. Figure out how to get home. Figure out how to take more time off work and get back when they eventually fix my car. Oh and there is the time they took three hours for an oil change. If you have all the time and money in the world the feel free to go here

Josh. Was the bomb. He literally waited for me even after they closed the day before Thanksgiving, with a flat i wasn't gonna be going anywhere for Thanksgiving. So thanks to Josh and thanks for the awesome price, he gave me.♥️

Ordered my tires off of Tirerack, arrived at the Firestone shop in about a week and they had my tires on an hour of my appointment. Much better than my experience at Mavis in Latham.

I had to wait more than twice as long as predicted when I called to make the appointment. I was charged a recycling fee for the tires that were replaced though I took them home with me. I was given an electronic invoice but no receipt for my payment. Should I go on? The whole experience soured me on Firestone.

I came in for an inspection and when I left, the license plate light was hanging down because one of the mechanics thought electrical tape was supposed to hold it up on the car. They failed to inform me that the screw broke in the hole. I had to drive around with exposed wires for three days after coming back to the shop and calling. I was constantly being told I had to wait for a Manager to look over and give an okay to fix the issue they created. No one apologized or gave an explanation. I was only told if any more problems I could bring it back. Really!! Never Again!! Troy, NY

Warning!!!!!!!!!! This is the worse experience with an auto body shop that I’ve never had. I paid $1,200 for new brakes, pads, rotors, and a tire. Less than six months later, the brakes were squeaking badly. When I returned, I was told that “sometimes we just get bad parts when we order them, and it happens.” They claimed to replace the parts with “painted or coated rotors” that would last longer. The next day, I took my car to another shop for inspection and discovered they had simply swapped in cheap, uncoated parts. No honesty, no accountability. To make matters worse, they lost my lug nuts and tried to brush it off by saying, “It’s OK, no one’s stealing tires or rims anymore.” Completely unprofessional. At this point, I cannot trust this shop with my vehicle or my time. I have all receipts and documentation to prove my experience. Do not waste your money here — this shop does not provide honest or professional service. If you value your time, your safety, and your money, stay far away from this place. They do not stand behind their work, and their lack of integrity speaks for itself.

These guys genuinely saved our lives on a road trip. Car started feeling weird, we pull over, tire has an air bubble - donut has a hole in it. These guys closed in 15 minutes and still took us in for a quick tire change when there were no other locations open. Huge thanks to anyone working tonight at this location, if I ever win the lottery I know who I will need to tip

Will NEVER go back here. Trying to save money I needed an inspection and was way overdue so I chose to go her seeing how I have a credit card. Mind you I called days in advance to ask if I needed to make an appointment and was advised that I did. I went in Friday morning at 8am. Typically an inspection takes only about 30 minutes but they told me an hour and a half. I waited for 2 hours while needing to be at work. I was advised that because I of my wipers (which have been fine) license plate and tint I would not pass. They also removed my old inspection sticker. While I understand NYS law I personally believe they were trying to have me pay for work that was unnecessary. I ended up being in a panic and concerned about not having a sticker and getting pulled over so I went to another location for which passed my car for inspection the same day! I was told by another location that my wipers were fine, light was ok and tint passed. So go figure. I will never recommend this location to anyone and will never do business there again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! DO NOT GO HERE I REPEAT DO NO GO HERE !! So took my 2015 ford f150 here for a check engine light that it had they said they will charge me for diagnostics and see what the issue is exactlyi said okay then calls me saying that my actuator valve on my turbos are bad and i specifically asked is that the only thing and will it take care of my engine light they said ABSOLUTELY I said okay do the repair then when I went to pick it up as soon as I stated up the vehicle the engine light came back on went back told them about it they said they’ll look into it and will have there master technician check it out then calls me after 2 days and tells me it will be $3000 for both turbos to be replaced I asked him you said my turbos where good after the diagnostics and it was only my actuator , that’s when they just start giving me the run around picked up my truck the same day and will suggest everyone not to go there unless you want your wallets drained !!! If there was less then one start I would’ve gave it

Every time my wife brings her car in they try to sell her stuff that she doesnt need. Failed her car for inspection because the brakes and all the pads had over half their life span left. Paid for the life time alignment and they literally only set the toe and send it in its way leaving the camber out of spec (which is easy to adjust on a subaru forester). Told me a freshly replaced ball joint was about to come apart too. I wouldn't trust a word these people say.

Not impressed with Firestone. Went in with an error (a cylinder misfired and triggered my vehicles limp mode). I was charged $120 for reading the code (took 10 minutes) and the repair was a spark plug change with the price of a spark plug being priced 400% higher than the value of equivalent parts found online. Staff were friendly and answered questions but I would not recommend taking your vehicle there, especially if you are not confident with mechanics.

I would say the shop and the guy were life saver. It was a last minute urgent request and I got declined for service at many shops before called them. Without no hesitation he told me to bring my car in and it took no time for them to take care of everything. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate my experience with them

I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue with 50,000 miles on it. I went her to get my battery replaced and the staff was very friendly. About a week after I got it replaced, my back right tire started squeaking. I took it back in to Firestone and they told me I needed new shocks, shock mounts and a boot kit totaling $1,700. I was flabbergasted especially since my car is low mileage! The noise ended up stopping, however I took it to another shop to get a second opinion where they had three of their mechanics check it over/drive it and they said absolutely nothing was wrong with my car. They figured something must have just gotten stuck up there, but its out and everything is good to go. I am no longer taking my car to Firestone. I am very disappointed that they would try and diagnose my car with something that wasn't even wrong with it to try and get money.

You know how it goes; you’re driving, you take a turn weird, you mess your tire up with a curb, and it goes flat by the time you’re parked at 4:00pm. It was the third suggested location for drop off with Progressive’s roadside assistance, and since the first auto shop I called didn’t even have mechanics available, I called this Firestone to see if they could help me. Mike, the person I spoke to on the phone, said he had a tire for me, and as long as I got it there before 6, it was a yes. My car was picked up by Perlman’s Towing and Recovery (very nice person who got my car) who got to me in under 20 minutes, and it was brought to Firestone in around 12. Not only was my tire prioritized, it was done the same day! I was about an hour and fifteen minutes from my house, and I was saved the misery of having to come back the next day to pick it up. Mike was wonderfully nice, both on the phone and in-person. I greatly appreciated the service I got.

We had a great experience getting our tires here. The Manager TJ was very informative about what our choices were and the best tires for our needs. They were awesome! I returned the next week and got them for my second car. We have had zero problems with them. Quick and knowledgeable service.

First of all, I wish they were always so nice and honest. I had the pleasure of meeting these people, they work very well I was attended by Calvin, he was very friendly and explained everything that would happen to my car I got my car back exactly the way he told me, and everything was perfect I 100% recommend them for car services
