I always have an excellent experience at this mechanic shop! My family and I have known the owner for many years and trust him with our vehicles. The staff is friendly, honest, and took the time to explain exactly what my car needed. It’s clear they really care about their customers. I appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail— I always recommend him and his team to friends and family who are in need of a trustworthy mechanic. Honest mechanic. A few months back I brought my car to them because I thought I needed new rotors but turned out I only needed brake pads. I've used them for a few issues in the past few years and they've always been reliable. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to these guys since they opened it started off ok but slowly, but surely ended up real bad Their workmanship has gone from ok to poor my son brought his car there last week with a noise they told him it was the axle he told him he would bring it back when the car was cold because that’s when it made the noise this morning they told him it was the belt I was on my sons cell phone with the older owner I verified him to double check that that was the problem since we had issues like this before with him he shoved the cell phone in my sons chest and put his hands up in the air and walked away No matter what the situation is you do not treat customers like that. I would not trust this man he has anger problems and is very disrespectful I do not suggest you go there.
The worse mechanic shop I been to. Awful attitude towards a paying customer. All because of the so called "owner" being too busy to check up on my brother's car that didn't pass annual inspection. I would never recommend this shop. They need to be more professional
Bad experience. Went in for an inspection-the guy drove my car with the parking brake on and damaged the system. I asked him if he took off the parking brake and he either didn’t speak English or ignored me, but I asked twice. Not sure why someone would leave the parking brake on and drive 50+ feet. Ridiculous.
Stopped and asked if they had time to do an inspection for me. Was told yes. But as I was walking away to bring my car over I hear the guy is mumbling something so I asked him if he was talking to me because I couldn’t clearly hear him. Only to be told that he doesn’t recognize my face and that I’m not a regular customer. Confused, I asked what does that mean. He proceeded to tell me that he doesn’t make any money on inspections and is sick and tired of people just coming to him to do inspections and not get any work done. I told him I didn’t have any work to do, so far my car has been really good to me. He kept continuing how he’s just gonna do inspections for his regular customers. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I told him with that attitude and mind set - no wonder he doesn’t have new customers and that he’s definitely on the path of losing more customers. What the hell was all that about. Totally uncalled for. Could have just said he’s busy and/or can’t do it and we all move on. There was no need for all of that nonsense. That was so unprofessional and offensive. Now he lost any type of business - big and small - with his ridiculousness from me and anyone that asks me about them. Do the right job at a reasonable price and you will have endless customers buddy. Wow.
I realized my inspection was past due. I called around everywhere on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and everyone said no. I am going back to work in NYC Tuesday morning, where I have to park on the street. I called and they said, “Being it in in 20 minutes.” While there, they were all so friendly; I felt like I been there customer for years. Really great services, great people, and definitely great work ethic!
2 dealerships and 3 other independent mechanics couldn’t diagnose a years-long issue my car was having with all their scan tools that Lakeside successfully diagnosed (with a hammer) and fixed at a reasonable price. This is the honest and reasonable mechanic you’ve been looking for.
My family has been getting their cars fixed by Issac for the last 30 years and have always raved about his honesty, work ethic and the extensive knowledge he has in his field. We’ve always been treated like family and know that we can without a doubt trust his recommendations above all others. It’s the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic and possibly a business in general. The service is consistent, the people are kind and you’re treated like a friend not a paycheck. Would give 10 stars if I could!
