Terrible experience so far got home and went to put my air filter in and it was the wrong size. Someone should be fired for this AutoZone Mahopac short kid with the glasses, register all the way to the right.
Had a problem with an defective auto part i bought earlier this week. I brought it into the store along with my receipt. The clerk quickly replaced my item with a new one. Professional and helpful.
Went to Auto Zone store on way home as passenger side wiper flew off. Dennis Best went above and beyond with assisting in picking out a replacement part. He then installed the wiper on my car. Dennis was knowledgeable, kind and efficient. What a great experience. Thank you Mr. best and Auto Zone.

Went there for one thing their website said they had and they did not have it. The guys in the store were very polite, it's not their fault the computer system doesn't update. Call ahead if you're going for a part based on online availability
I ordered spark plugs on march 21 in the afternoon that will be ready for pick up on march 22 at 8:00 in the morning. I went to pick up the spark plugs in the morning and it’s not there yet someone told me it will be there at noon, I came back after 12:00 pm and it’s still not there, they said it will be there at 3:00 pm, so I called at 3 pm and still not there, By the way I called the regional manager and they supposed to call me back , up to now I haven’t heard from them.
Went in to purchase a battery. Was told they could install it, but the employee behind the counter said to cold for them to do that, sold me a battery that didn't come charged and after charging it still doesn't work right. Going to try a different Autozone for the refund because this one was extremely unhelpful and sold damaged goods.
Purchased a battery for my Merc very cold jan. 16 sunday every one in the store was very helpful. As cold as it was young fellow came out and installed the battery which I did not expect and did a great job. I tried to give him a tip but he wouldn't take it. Be proud of your help and thanks...
Shout out to Ray. He not only found my wipers. He installed them for me. Then when it was clear that one blade was defective, I went back. He gladly gave me a refund and replaced the blade again. They are a great place to get anything for your car needs and more!
Worst auto parts store in the Putnam Westchester County area. After being in there for 20 minutes and being handed the wrong part three different times I thanked them politely for wasting my time and left.
Wow what horrible customer service today. I walked in to pick up a warranty transfered part which apprently wasn't under warranty (glitch). As soon as i walked in one of the managers said that i have to wear a mask or get out but i told him i can not due to a medical condition. I have been in the store before without one and the same employee who has helped me and was helping me has no issues. I was then told by two managers to wait outside the front doors while my part was being looked up. I told them the masks dont do anything anyway which now both managers then said i cant come in because they don't want to get shut down by the health Department which is not true. They also started citing the executive order (202.17) which states masks must be worn. In the order masks or a face covering only need to be worn if the person can "medicaly tolerate" it or cant social distance. Also the newer order states places cant discriminate against someone who can not wear a face covering or mask for medical reasons. I told them this and they still told me to wait outside the store. I waited outside and felt they made the whole thing into a spectacle and i felt discriminated against because i was unable to wear a mask.They did exchange my part but still that situation was not needed. I have always been a loyal customer of Autozone and this was my favorite one. The employees are always helpful but today was different. I didnt bother getting the names of the managers but I suggest going to another autozone where they have sympathy and actually help customers instead of berate them saying things they do not fully understand.
Stopped in to get new wiper blades on my old car. It was after dark & freezing cold. Both Danny & Angel were extremely courteous and patient when struggling to get the old warped wipers off. I’m sure they would’ve rather spent 20 minutes in the store where it was warm. They both worked together and got the job done while remaining patient & friendly during the whole process! This time of year can bring out the worst in people but they should both be recognized for their outstanding customer service and overall professional & friendly attitude!
It shares the parking lot/building with best in backyards. The store is usually clean and well maintained. The staff is usually helpful and polite. They keep the store stocked and are pretty quick to get you something if you don't have it there. Will continue to go here when I need stuff and would reccomend

Went to AutoZone Wednesday night about a half hour before they close to check her battery as my wife's car wouldn't start until someone jumped her. The gentleman was gracious, friendly, checked her battery, and determined it was voltage regulator! Offered a few places to get quotes too!! Would recommend anyone to go there .. he could have said they were in the process of closing but didn't!!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good prices with amazing warranties. The layout of the store is customer friendly and the staff will lead you to the exact location of the product you're looking for.
You guys have to check your employees!!!! There's a dark skin man that works in the Autozone from mahopac who's very rude!! I don't know how they can let people like that work in any place. My brother was just told a few minutes ago not to speak in spanish to him the rudest way possible. We will no longer be buying anything there. He can thank my brother for not talking to the manager about this.
