Service was on time to appointment and appropriate for job done. Cost was on point and as expected. Jerry runs a great shop and the guys up front are organized and thorough.

I took my audi and vw for service and change of brakes. I was really happy to see the how nice the staff and how professional they are. I went to c&a for some pricing on work. They had extremely fair pricing! They genuinely care about their customers and doing a great job at a great price. My car is now safe to drive and i will definitely be returning for the rest of the work i need! I highly recommend this auto shop!! The Team was very professional and helpful to the extent a member came to my residence to boost the battery and I was able to get to the shop. These guys are the best in town. Since moving to the area I have tried several shops. All good, no complaints. However, I have found C&A to be my go to shop for all my needs. They are very communicative, fairly priced and get the job done on time and at the level of quality I expect.

This is my second visit to C&A. I received great, prompt service. They were busy but have the ability to work on many vehicles at one time. I appreciate the comfy sofas in the waiting area!
As always, a good experience with C&A Auto Service. I love that they send you a video to show any issues with the car. They make recommendations, but they don't pressure you to do them. Jerry and all the staff are always friendly and the waiting area is very comfortable. I've been going to C&A for over 30 years and I completely trust them. Highly recommend!
They really took the time to try and diagnose the issue and when it looked like there was a warranty issue they suggested I take it to the dealer. They could have just run up fees but they were honest and had great integrity. I really appreciated the help. I will be back.

Absolutely Do Not Recommend – Unsafe, Dishonest, and Unprofessional
I brought my car to C & A in Mahopac because it kept shutting down. They diagnosed one issue, claimed it was fixed, but the car died again the very next day with the exact same problem. I brought it back, and they gave me a different explanation and supposedly fixed it. A few days later, I was back a third time for yet another supposed issue. This time, they claimed it was related to something I had already had professionally repaired a year ago elsewhere (and they were wrong about that). Then they said it was my rotors and wheels and etc...
At this point, it was clear they were just guessing—or worse, lying. I even overheard someone at the front desk whispering to the mechanic I was about to test drive with, which only confirmed my suspicions that something shady was going on.
I decided I’d had enough, took my keys, and went to a trusted mechanic I should’ve gone to from the start. He immediately found the real issue: a bad alignment. C & A had supposedly aligned my car, but clearly hadn’t—or had done it so poorly that it made things worse.
Bottom line: C & A made my car more dangerous than it was when I brought it in. They let me drive away three separate times in an unsafe vehicle. This shop is unreliable, careless, and seems more interested in running up charges than fixing problems. It’s unfortunate because I like to support local businesses, but C & A has lost my trust completely.
Avoid this place. They need better mechanics, better management, and a serious lesson in honesty and customer care.

I had an excellent experiance here. I brought a flat tire in to be fixed about 3PM expecting it to be done next day. They surprised by getting it done same day for a fair price. I also appreciated the friendly courtesy I recieve. Will return.
Here is why I like C&A...they get to the bottom of the issue and they are transparent about it. So we had what seemed like a simple job to take care of with AC on a Honda...We all know things look simple and when you dig in, there is often more than meets the eye. Jerry, Ava, Ray, Chris, Anthony and likely others did a wonderful job of figuring out the issue. They were only going to accept excellence as the result. The best part was the communication. I can deal with most anything so long as I know the rules to the game. Ava and Jerry were out in front of this matter and increase my existing high level of trust in C & A Auto.

Had an appointment here to change two upfront tires. Place is claiming to me that “tires don’t fit” I’ve ran exact ones before. Changed the fitment reasoning 4 times each time I questioned why they “wouldn't” fit “ and trying to base it off of the recommended sticker on car. Put 2 dirty tires in the backseat of my car (Mercedes C63S) because they “wouldn't” fit “ in the trunk lol. If you are coming here to do any thing other than an oil change to your car don’t bother go to mahopac auto repair right down the block they got it on for me no problem

Waay better customer service and prices than Mavis. Very comfortable sofas, coffee, snacks and soda machines. Clean bathroom. Nice TV. And most importantly, very nice and respectful people. The work is done honestly and in normal time. This is a real auto repair shop.
