Brought my 2023 f350 for parking sensor malfunction, the service desk told me that mice got into the wiring harness, i checked didnt see any mice damage. Made an appointment at Cooperstown ford, and there covering it under warranty because there was no mice damage. Oneonta ford wants ur money more than fords warranty money, they wanted to charge me 600+ for just the service of fixing the wiring harness and also just to identify the issue was 150$. This place a joke this is why u dont go to small time dealerships. oneonta ford is a complete joke and so is there inventory of vehicles

I brought my vehicle in for the latches on the doors to be repaired. The very next day (after reportedly being fixed) both the latches were nonfunctional and I was on a road trip. I had to hold the door closed while driving. When I brought my vehicle back to be repaired again, I was met with incompetence and deception. I was told my truck would be ready for pick up on two different occasions, it wasn't ready either time and I wasn't given the courtesy of a call prior to. My wife and I had driven into town to then sit in the office with my truck still ripped apart. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Truly inconsiderate and incompetent service. I would not recommend. I will drive to Cooperstown or Binghamton in the future.

After buying a car in March, having it in shop for 4 weeks for transmission issues, then again for 3 months for transmission issues, I finally just bought a new car in August. I will never return to this establishment. The sales manager was rude and unempathetic. They asked for my review though. ??♀️

Came and looked at cars for 15 minutes on the lot on my lunch break, nobody came out and greeted me. Came inside and 2 employees saw me and nobody came and greeted me or even said hello. Wanted to test drive and possibly buy a new Maverick. Kind of dissapointing since the service was good when I bought another vehicle here.

The vehicle technicians at Oneonta Ford are courteous, capable, and efficient. Everything was taken care of on schedule at the expected rate, and the work is high quality.

Waited 2 weeks for a call back to schedule an appointment after ordering parts. Called to schedule, and they were booking out another 2 weeks. Scheduled the appointment, asked that an oil change be done at the time of the visit. Was billed for the oil change, scheduled repairs were made, and a week later my Ford app notifies me I'm due for an oil change with 10% oil life left, no oil change had been done.

A great place to buy a car! Kevin Zach is the best. He was very patient and understood our needs. Also, whenever we had our old Explorer serviced, they always gave us a loaner if we needed a car immediately. So now we a new (used) Ford Edge!

Happy with the service and price. Danny is the greatest! Due to health issues, I called Danny on Tuesday to get me in on Wednesday for an oil change. He fit me in and checked and rotated my tires and did the multi service inspection. This service was not due until October, but the milage was up there. They always seem to accommodate me. And I get a loaner car, so I can go do other things.

Everything went very smoothly. Within a couple hours I drove away with all paperwork, transfers etc. completed. I'm a repeat customer and wouldn't hesitate to continue. Friendly straight forward dealership.

This is my fourth purchase or lease transaction with Russell Hoagland. I have stayed loyal to him and his dealership because he is honest, efficient, and straight forward. He is willing to take the time to calculate and present options in a clear and thorough way. Not your typical car salesman.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP!! Not my first review about them either! They do a half-assed job over looking your car to see what is wrong and then will tell you every week there’s a new problem when they barely even looked at it to start with! Had my car stuck in their dealership for almost 3 months with a new reason of what was wrong almost every time I spoke with them! The reason they had my car was because it broke down from a RECALL on the engine oil pump belt and they were the closest dealership. I was told originally it should be covered and shouldn’t be an issue. WELL, that was wrong. At first, they told me it was denied by Ford and I was confused considering everything pointed to the recall and they said they would the request again. I even took it upon myself and called Ford Corp. and they said they submit good photos showing the damage there was no reason for the denial because they agreed with me on this sounding like the recall. Oneonta also informed me they do not take down the engine or take it apart to see what the issues are or what is causing issues. I informed Ford Corp of this as well asking if that is a protocol or not and they said they absolutely have to take down the engine because how else would they know where the problem is. So, then I proceeded to tell Oneonta to keep submitting the request with better details as per Ford Corp. After weeks of the request being denied (they only submitted it in twice to Ford) they started saying I had other problems occurring. Now I live 4 hours away so I couldn’t know if I did or didn’t so I said go through my warranty at this point. My warranty was in the same boat as everyone else but Oneonta on it being recall. The warranty needed a letter from the dealership first stating why is this not a recall issue and they could not provide one or send one! Ridiculous already. They would not speak to my warranty about it either which was mind blowing to me. I was at my wits end being 3 months without a car and having to pay for rentals and Ubers out of pocket almost every day. I had my lawyer get involved because it started sounding like a money hungry dealership who also had no idea what they were doing. I then got an invoice from Oneonta listing all the parts and issues that were wrong and needed fixing…. $8000 they wanted!!! I was able to have Oneonta tow my car down to a dealership closer to me because now I knew for sure they just wanted get paid. The car goes into the new dealership within less then a week its approved for recall and I have a new engine on the way and a loaner car. Complete opposite experience that Oneonta gave me. They were honest, showed me all the paper work submitted and let me know how they submitted everything. Now I reached out for Oneota for a request of reimbursement for the Ubers and rentals from the run around I had to go through with them. They of course denied the reimbursement and stated that the other dealership obviously had a different diagnosis. I got the diagnosis reports from both dealerships to compare. THEY BOTH HAD THE SAME DIAGNOSIS. Now why would one be approved and one will not be? I asked the new dealership if they submitted in photos to Ford to show the belt like Oneonta said they did. They said they just sent the belt back itself to Ford Corp because that was the only way to see the belt and once the belts off and being that damaged there was no putting it back on. I looked at the photos Oneonta submitted to Ford, they show absolutely nothing referring to the recall. They show the back side of the belt still attached to the engine not showing any of the damage to the belt! All because they refused to take apart the engine and properly diagnosis it, yet there was $8000 of damages they were claiming. Weird to claim there is that much damages when you didn’t even take the engine apart or properly look at the damages. This is the worst dealership I have every encountered, know nothing and money hungry!!

For years, we trusted Oneonta Ford with service on our 2022 Bronco Sport. When we decided to trade in for a newer model, there was no other dealership we wanted to go to! Kevin Z. was phenomenal- answering any and all questions we had over the phone and via e-mail, facilitating most of the paperwork prior to our arrival at the dealership. It was quick, painless, and possibly the best transaction we have had purchasing a car. Cannot recommend enough!! Kevin, and all the employees we have had the pleasure of working with, have been nothing short of professional and attentive.

I recently purchased a used Ford Ranger from this location, and I can't say enough great things about Kevin, the salesman who helped me through the entire process! From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, patient, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all my questions, and I never once felt rushed or pressured. Even after the sale, Kevin followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly. I wanted to preface this review by stating that I have been to the Oneonta Ford many times a few years ago and had the worst service. I went today to have my cabin air filter replaced and not only was it quick but the service advisor was so nice—he used my name when he addressed me (usually at a dealership someone points at me and says this one instead of actually using my name). I think they have had a change in department heads and for the better! You would not walk in there a few years ago and be treated well at all!

I highly recommend going to Oneonta Ford and speak with Kevin, if you’re even considering buying a new vehicle! The whole crew at Oneonta Ford made our trade, purchase and pick up easy! I wasn’t sure if I really wanted to purchase a new car and Kevin was understanding, not ‘pushy’ and gave myself & my family his entire attention throughout the process. Thanks to him, I am now a proud owner of a Lincoln Corsair! I appreciate his understanding and patient attitude and for listening to and engaging in conversation with our kids! Five out of five stars! I will be returning to Oneonta Ford for our next car!

Be careful with this dealership! My experience started out good - sales woman was helpful and kind but lacked training leading to a comment that was made about a vehicle that I purchased, and they did not stand behind her comment when an issue arose. Service department completely dropped the ball. Their lack of knowledge dealing with a non-Ford vehicle that I purchased from them, resulted in me being told to bring in my vehicle for an issue they never would’ve been able to fix or clear. They tried to clear codes which ended up voiding my extended warranty (also purchased through them and do your research because their reviews are terrible). They did not ask me prior to doing this and after I was told what was done, I asked if this would effect my warranty and was told “it shouldn’t”. Another dealership in Yorkville ended up helping me and covering my repair bill out of “good will” because they felt bad with what Oneonta Ford put me through. If you purchase a Ford brand new from them, you may be okay but I would not recommend buying a used Ford (other locals from our town have had issues with their service dept as well) and certainly do not buy a non-ford vehicle from them. As a local business owner in a nearby small town, having integrity is everything. This dealership does not. The lack of knowledge in the service dept is also concerning. Just be careful!!

I worked with Kevin on the purchase of a Ford F150. It was not an easy deal and he was extremely helpful and was willing to go the extra mile! This is the second vehicle we have purchased from oneonta ford and I am happy to continue working with them. Kaylee in the service department is great with getting you in when it takes other dealers weeks to get in. Highly recommend!

Had a consultation with Kevin on a good word and he lived up to it! I was pleasantly surprised with how knowledgeable he was and how willing he was to help. I'm a very educated, discerning buyer and I do not live local, but Kevin took a chance anyway and delivered excellent service! He was very easy to get along with as well! Although I ended up buying elsewhere because I was better able to get what I wanted locally, Kevin's customer service was outstanding and worth sharing publicly! If you're local and want to buy from someone who generates business naturally without nonsense, loves his job, and provides service with a smile, ask for Kevin! TEN STARS!

We had such a wonderful experience at Oneonta Ford! We looked at a few cars on their lot and mentioned to Kevin that we really wanted a Honda CR-V and he called us as soon as he got one. I will start by saying I hate car shopping! However….My experience with Oneonta Ford was exceptional! I just might be able to stop saying I hate car shopping. My experience- I spoke on the phone with sales (Kevin Zach) and gave him my price range and other specifications I was looking for.. I arrived at the dealership shortly after we spoke and he had two possible options pulled up for us to look at. He was knowledgeable on both. After choosing a vehicle our experience continued to be smooth and painless! Russell (finance) was great at providing information on warrantees so we could the best choice for our situation. Exceptional Experience start to finish!!

We bought a 2023 Ford Maverick. Ordered 9/16/22 and picked up 13 months later. Kyle P. did a nice job keeping us up to date. The Ford tracking app was informative too. Picking up the truck was easy. Paperwork organized. A good session on how the car works. A bag of Oneonta Ford goodies finished the deal. Love the truck.

This review is to share a HUGE thank you to all the folks over at Oneonta Ford. It's been a dream of mine to buy a Ford Bronco since they started making them again. It's been so hard with all the up-charging and horse manure that goes on at dealerships. Not O-Ford. They were kind and patient with me. It took 7 months, but I have the most gorgeous Ford Bronco Outer Banks out there! I'm loving the ride and can't thank them enough for all their help and decency. It goes a long way with me. Thanks specifically Danny B, Russell, and Kyle. You guys make a great team!
