Brought in our Volvo XC70 after it went into performance mode. Other places were charging us a ridiculous amount for a fuel pump replacement but Susquahanna came through and fixed our car with no problem! Couldn't recommend them enough!

I was dealing with a parasitic draw on and off for months. This caused my battery to drain rapidly when it was completely off. This was a total nightmare. TWO local shops could not identify the issue. I must have watch 10 hours of YT videos and STILL could not locate it. Susquehanna was relentless in locating the issue and corrected it. The price was more than fair. It turns out the issue was related to a repair done by another shop in 2023. THANK YOU! - Chris

After I spent nearly $5,000 (which was almost double what they quoted me) to fix an oil leak in November my car has been losing oil and coolant the past couple months. I brought it in to have them look at it yesterday and they charged me $60 to put a quart of oil in and tell me there are no leaks.

We have used this business for years but when I showed up (not my husband) I was charged almost twice the price quoted! Not happy!

I am so impressed with Matt. He solved an intense electrical problem in my Tahoe. I feel VERY comfortable taking my vehicles here. Thank you Matt!

Yerrible. They left bolts out of my power steering pump causing damage to hoses and belts. I took it to a BMW mechanic. He said no way that they fell out. It was done on purpose. Do not bring your car there!

Upfront, honest service. Direct - no surprises! Accomodating - Office Assistant and Manager. Handled my warranty issue 100% from start to finish on my behalf! Full service! Awesome framed photo of "George" - if your from Oneonta - you know!

I do have some issues with the service I received here . I do think they are fair. But having had to have the car in twice and then return to pick it up three times when it was supposed to be ready was a big inconvenience. I don’t think they test drove the car after fixing it .

I don't know anything about cars but about prices. And I used to call other places to get an estimate then I when to see Agnes or Tom their prices always are better then any other auto repair. They never took advantage of a woman who doesn't know anything about cars. Now they are my #1 place to go when my car needs something..they are good fixing BMW Audi corvette .

They don't have a very big offering and are pretty slow to communicate, but they were pleasant and sure to not leave you hanging altogether. For the person who can find what they want there I'm sure they'll be taken care of - worth a look!

I've been bringing my cars to susquehanna in oneonta for years now. they have always gone above and beyond for me and my family. i recently just purchased a 2011 audi q5 (yes, these guys work on all the german cars for almost half of what you'd pay at the dealership, too!) from tom, the owner, and couldn't have had a better experience with the entire buying process. they treated the situation as if i were buying a brand new car and made sure that it was like brand new when i picked it up. it needed a few minor repairs which tom took care for free without hesitation. i can't recommend these guys enough. this is the way it's supposed to be in a small town auto-repair/dealership. highly recommended!!!

This was the kind of experience I was looking for in getting an older car repaired. Reasonable quote, not trying hose me at every turn, not cheap, but fair. Very good communication , customer service and work performed. There happened to be a mistake on the invoice and they corrected with zero attitude. Highly recommended.

I reviewed this business a couple months ago and I have to say we are finding out more and more that everything that surrounded our transaction was a complete lie! We were told that the power steering pump and lines were replaced. The lines went again about a month after. Now the pump again within a 3 month span! Found out from the mechanic here that the power steering lines were installed WRONG!!! WRONG!! How does this happen?!?! They were going to give me a deal on the exhaust manifold part but wanted to do another check over. When we couldnt make it back, they wouldn’t ship the part to us. On the drive with our move, the lug nuts of the tires came off the wheels that we had the breaks and routers replaced and put my husbands life on the line. Nothing in the paperwork indicated that we would need to check them and when I called to speak with Matt, he said oh well if it’s been sitting a long time this happens. WE TOLD YOU ALL THAT IT HAD BEEN SITTING ALMOST A YEAR....DONT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD MENTION THIS TO US ESPECIALLY KNOWING WE WERE MOVING 12+ HOURS AWAY!!!!!!!! My kids could have been in that vehicle that they said was safe and good to go. Now we have to replace the pump that they replaced as well as the lines and whatever else!!!! Don’t go to these scammers.

Going the extra mile, after mile, after mile It took a lot of work tracking down information about the specialized part needing replacement. Learning that the part was not really available from the customization shop that had at first produced it, the team fabricated it and completed the (suspension) repair.

First tried Susquehanna Auto at the recommendation of knowledgable friends several years ago. They have been very helpful in keeping my 'classic' Subaru purring along through ordinary maintenance visits as well as needed repairs. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and 'non-pressured,' and in the one instance where they made a boo-boo, they covered it completely and with great customer service. Recommended!

As a person from outside of the area, I am delighted to have found Susquehanna Auto to service my car. Not only were the requested extensive service items repaired properly, they were done at the quoted price and on time. And when I picked up the car, they explained they also replaced several light bulbs which they noticed had burned out. That was a pleasant surprise! Friendly, thorough and expert. Thank you, I’ll be back:)

Tom and his team have always been friendly, professional and extremely trustworthy. Tom has been servicing our cars for years now and it's been nothing but positive experiences. I recommended Susquehanna Auto to all my friends and family.

DO NOT TRUST THEM! If it was possible to give these guys less than 1 star I would. I bought a 2012 Chevy Sonic from these guys a little over a month ago. On my hour and a half drive home not only did the Tire Pressure light come on on my dash but the AC completely stopped working! Before I even got the car home! Then, i put the back seats down so I could move and the middle seat buckle broke, not allowing me to put my back seat back in its proper position. I was working as a nanny at the time and had to cut the seat belt so I could use my car for work. The AUX port in the car didn't work either. Then, I was driving home from New Jersey when the car went into what's called Limp Mode, where the transmission won't allow the car to shift above 2nd or 3rd gear. I drove all the way back out to them, they told me it was good to go, and I drove home. The past weekend I was driving a long distance when the car AGAIN went into Limp Mode. I just got off the phone with the owner, TOM, who told me that there was no light from the transmission on when we brought the car in so he just changed the fluid as a FAVOR! HE DIDN'T EVEN FIND OUT WHAT MADE THE CAR GO INTO LIMP MODE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I promise you, this guy is nothing but a snake in the grass. DO NOT GET A CAR FROM HERE!

Tom has always been more than helpful! They are also more reasonable price-wise than other mechanics in Oneonta; trustworthy too!

Susquehanna Auto was highly recommended to me by several people and since taking my car to them I can see why, plus I have had no issues with any work that has been done. Prices are reasonable. It's reassuring to know that I can trust their work and professionalism in the way they conduct business.

I was able to call them first thing Monday morning and they got my car in, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it before I got out of work. I was very worried that the problem would be something major and empty my bank account but Tom called me and reassured me that it wasn't a big problem. Reasonably priced, excellent customer service by both Tom and Jon at the front desk, and got the work done correctly and in a timely fashion. 5 Stars!!

Horrible experience: Went in for Inspection & Failures (Fixing Power Steering line and new front driver side tire) First issue: My tires were discussed "prior" to work being done, and one back lug nut was swollen, but it was explicit in our call that those should not be touched and I'm aware of this issue. The tires were going to be replaced along with the lugs in the back when budget allowed. I was told this was ok and plan was to keep the tires in place where they were. I got the car when finished and the tires were rotated and lug nut was busted right off (the swollen one). I asked about replacing this because it was not supposed to be touched, and I was told not to worry about driving this and it'd be replaced on Friday when I go back. Second Issue: The reason I have to go back now is the inspection sticker and receipt cannot be printed until a DMV technician (NY) comes to repair the machine used in this process. I was told I could get a 10-day, but then that wouldn't print either. I was told to go to a nearby shop strictly for the sticker, but it would cost $10. No credit towards my purchase or discount that would allow this to be in budget. I was given a packet and told to come back when I am back in town from work. When I came back in from checking my car out and grabbing the inspection receipt that failed, I asked if there was a chance DMV could come today and he mentioned he called them in the morning (which was before I dropped my car off). This means I could have been informed before bringing my car in and paying for inspection through this auto shop, and just go down the road to get the inspection sticker needed and finalize the process. Now I have to wait 3 days to get the physical sticker.

Went in for a misfire that kept getting put off and almost a week later it was given back to me not fixed because "he had other scheduled jobs waiting"! Gave them a simple task of putting in new headlight s. They were installed but not aimed. I spent 30 min in the dark doing this myself because they were shooting into space. They also didn't take the time to clip in my wheel well that was left dangling and got torn apart once I got on the highway. Nice guys but their lack of bed dude man nor and professional experience left me finding a shop (Otego tire and auto), that was more than gracious enough to fix me up until I was up and going and well serviced.

They helped me through many car issues. They were always kind and the price was unbeatable. I will never go anywhere else.

I know of several people who use these folks for their repair work. They all speak very highly of the quality, my experience was equally good. Can't beat an honest garage!
