Service was fast, informative, and very friendly. Jimmy was a huge help and made things easy for me to understand when getting my brakes done. Highly recommend this location and will be coming back.
GET A SECOND OPINION AFTER COMING HERE!! First of all, I was quoted $190 over the phone for a smoke test however, after the job was done they tried charging me $270!! I, of course, had them correct that. Second of all, my car had a couple of evap codes and before anything else they told me they needed to drop the gas tank for $500-$600 JUST for further diagnosis!. I called a few other mechanics and they all quoted me $300 for a gas tank drop only IF it came to that. Lastly, I took it to a different mechanic and was told a gas tank drop was NOT needed and quoted me $300 to FIX the issues. The overall quote from Monro was $1,000 by the way.
EDIT: the $300 quote fixed my car 100%. PLEASE ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION
Went in to get my yearly inspection and was told that I didn’t pass due to my license plate lightbulbs being out. They didn’t offer an extension just said that if I didn’t get it done with them they would send me out without a sticker even though I had almost whole month before my tag expired to repair this issue so I was forced to pay them to fix it then and there. Then they tried to tell me that my struts were leaking and backtracked when I confirmed that they were mostly new, only a few months old. I felt taken advantage of and will not be coming back here again.
If I could leave 0 stars to this place I would.the management is not good with communicating and prioritising the problems.they are more oriented on money grabbing and it shows.i would not return to this place.

If I could give a negative star I WOULD. Was here a week ago and was charge $200 for one tire. I called and scheduled an appointment for 7:30am to get my car inspected and its now 8AM building still isnt open... I call customer services and they tell me their manager for this location is not answering and there isnt anything they can do. AWESOME so why did I schedule an appointment to recieve no services????
I went to get my emissions testing done two problems were revealed that I wasn't aware of but I did not feel that I was being manipulated or overcharged for the services that I received
Be wary. You go in for an inspection and the next thing you know they have your car up and the wheels off, trying to find something wrong. Car hasn’t driven the same since.
I’ve been going here for years but this one visit has Got to be the most Unprofessional and inconsiderate experience I’ve ever encountered. The communication sucks, They lied to me multiple times. Very rude and disrespectful, And the manager made it no better, Because he was just as Rude as the rest of his team. I will never go back here again.
Inspection tag, not happy at all. Always have to be prepared to spend more even if it an oil change or breaks. It’s annoying. The little underhanded methods to get more money from you. I hate this place. Will not be coming back. I really don’t have enough space to express how I feel. I especially don’t like professional behavior of the manager Ed if that’s really his name, All he cares about is how he get more money out-of customers I guess and you can clearly see it. I suppose it part of the job. But I’m a senior citizen and I appreciate better customer service when I am paying my money. After spending $162.99 for an inspection tag, I had to bring it back because when cause when the technician took the back off to see what type of 3rd break light I had on the car. It was put back in that jammed up the seat belt and it couldn’t be used. He started nonsense about if it work before I got there, really? I said Ed, Ed. I mean really. I was insulted. I just don’t like the place and the customer service I get every time. I rather take my car back to Queens and let my old Machanic work on it. And that’s a two hour drive. Not happy with them at all (the manager Ed) at shop 323.
It was a quick experience. Was quoted 650 for tires over the phone bill ended up being around 950. They charged 35 bucks per tire to install. Would have gone somewhere else if I had the time
If you’re looking for a place you can actually trust for tires or any kind of service, go see Kevin and the team at Mavis in Newburgh. These guys set the bar higher than anywhere I’ve ever been. They don’t play games, they don’t push nonsense just to make a buck — they give you straight answers and real care.

My power window broke over a holiday weekend and these folks happened to be open - the service was friendly, prompt, efficient and they were very clear and helpful with me. Highly recommend !
I booked a 5:00 PM slot for a vehicle inspection, but got a call saying it was too late and had to reschedule for 1:00 PM the next day. The tech spent over an hour checking my truck, then said it wouldn’t pass because all four tires were “starting to crack.” My truck’s got a little more than 30,000 miles, and all the tires still have plenty of tread. Took it to another shop and passed the inspection no problem. Seems like they’re just trying to push tire sales. Skip this place to avoid the hassle.
Bought a Groupon deal for a good price. Took an hour to get an oil change which isn’t bad. Customer service was good very professional. Only reason I give them 3 stars because the place was dirty. The bathroom had a spiderweb. It looked like they haven’t clean their floors or the bathroom in weeks. They need to do better when it comes to cleanless of a business.
Only giving one star because I can’t give zero. Manager was very condescending and kept speaking over me. Tried to tell me my alignment would take more than hour and would cost more money before even putting my vehicle on the alignment rack. When asked for estimates on future repairs I was questioned about how I know I need the repairs. After telling him I work in the auto industry he kept making snide remarks like “if you do what you say you do”. Guess he didn’t like that I knew he couldn’t screw me over. Very rude. Very condescending and I will not be returning based off of this visit. Had previously dealt with Dale and only returned based off his professionalism and customer service. Dale should be running that location. The current manager will lose a lot of business for you.
Just had my car inspected. Luis and Ed were very helpful, friendly and professional. Luis even took extra time to replace a washer on my heat shield that was causing a rattle and Ed didn’t charge me for it! Thanks guys! Great team here.
Teo was one of the best customer service experiences in automotive I had, juan was my tech after tax the changing my brakes was $336. My car feels great. And Ed scheduled me initially but he seemed to rush me off the phone lol
Called the wrong office, but got a great experience. I was not talked to, but spoken with. Ed answered all my questions and provided options. They were kind, caring, friendly and very professional. I felt so at ease that I was able to take a nap and catch some Zs and rays while I waited. My veh needed a few things done. Ed and the rest of the crew took care of my car very well. I’m a happy camper. Thank you!

I walked into Monroe without an appointment, and they took me in right away. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making the whole experience stress-free. They diagnosed and fixed the issue with my tires, and their prices were fair. I really appreciate their efficiency and great customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future tire needs. Highly recommend!
This place is VERY SHADY. I am a 30 year old single female who doesn’t know much about cars and unfortunately mechanics prey on people like me and I need to be careful. I’m not one to write reviews but I felt it was absolutely necessary this time.
Ed is in charge of the shop and I spoke to him many times and it always felt like he was just trying to rush off the phone or just convince me to get more repairs so they could make more money. He uses fear tactics as well as high pressure sales tactics to convince customers to spend more money.
I took my car here because it would not start. They told me that I needed to get my engine replaced because one of my piston rings was worn and leaking oil into combustion chamber. They told me it would be $6,789 to fix. I took it to a new mechanic to get a second opinion. The new mechanic told me that my car was fine and that I just flooded the engine and to make sure I warm up my car for at least 10 min before driving but otherwise it was fine and I can come pick it up. Needless to say I will no longer be going to Monro Auto and I suggest you do the same.
I went onto Groupon and found an offer for a very reasonable price and was pleasantly surprised that it included a tire rotation and oil filter with the oil change. I scheduled the appointment right away and went into the shop. I had a really great experience through the services and interactions with the store manager Ed. He offered additional expertise and advice to help keep my car and it’s top condition. Observing the manager and employee relationship, there was a visible respect for one another. I plan to go back for all the above reasons.
I was able to get my inspection and other maintenance needed on my car. The gentlemen are very courteous, knowledgable and take the time to explain what they are doing, often you can negotiate a good price. #AMAZING!!!
