Have been a Nissan car owner for many years and have been a customer at Thruway Nissan for last 10 + years. Everyone from sales to services provided are always professional and efficient. They always make transactions easy and pleasant.
I am always impressed. The professionalism, the friendliness and the knowledge of Jessica Bowen and the staff at Thruway Nissan is consistent and evident. They are patient with customers, even difficult or frustrated ones, In my experience, Jessica treats everyone with respect, is very knowledgeable of the automobiles, the symptoms presented and she offers whatever services the customer requires, explains so that it's easily understood and patiently answers questions. It is a gift to have a service department of a dealership so customer oriented.
Joe, your repair scheduler, was a very important part of making me want to do business with Thruway Nissan again. He was a very pleasant, knowledgeable and made it easy to deal with someone who paid attention to my concerns. He’s a keeper.
Unfortunately for us, I ran into the wrong salesman the day that I went in to Nissan to lease another car with them. I have been a customer for over 26 years and I have been leasing cars with them throughout this time. The salesman that day told me that the leasing program was not a good one and that financing would make a more sensible financial option. Never having a problem with Nissan, I unfortunately took him for his word. I later found out that this was not true and that it would have been cheaper for me to lease. I found out that he was fired not too long afterwards for shady dealings. When I went in to Nissan to sell back the car and go into another lease, I was told that I owe too much on the car and that it was sold to me for much more than what it was worth. Every single time that I have leased with them, there has always been an issue with them about free oil changes or tire rotations that they promise me when starting a new lease but they have always resolved the issues so this is why I have stayed with them for this long but now I would never recommend or use them again. My daughters need cars and I would have went to them but now, I will never use Nissan to purchase. The service department on the other hand is good.
I had an excellent experience leasing my car. The salesman Jody was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely committed to helping me find the right deal. He walked me through every step of the process, made everything easy to understand, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I truly appreciated his support throughout the entire experience.
This is the only place I go for service on my Nissan. Staff are welcoming and make appropriate suggestions for maintenance. I never feel pressured into unnecessary services. I highly recommend this location!
Website makes it convenient to schedule maintenance appointment and you also get a reminder text. Newburgh Nissan staff is always courteous and they give you the service diagnosis and cost before the work.

I had a great experience at Nissan this past Wednesday when I took my car for an oil change. As soon as I arrived, I was told the wait would be a bit longer than normal. I appreciate the sincerity from the person that helped me because I was able to plan my time better. I asked if I could be dropped off across the street, in the Panera Plaza, and they took me there almost immediately. They asked me to call them when I was done so they can send a car to pick me up. They called me when my car was ready and they picked me up and took me back to the dealership very fast. The rep. Was very nice and attentive, he explained in detail all that was done to my car and what would my car be needing in the near future.
Routine service was performed in timely manner!, Jessica is always happy to see you and keeps you informed explaining recommendations and service performed. If the technician sees or hears any future issue, he relays it to her. You know when you leave, your vehicle and you were in competent hands! Awesome!! Oh and they have the best complementary coffee in Orange County!!!

Always an amazing experience at Thruway Nissan! Sale and service are exception. Went on for my 10k oil change. They were friendly, professional, took me on time and had me an in the promised hour!

Joseph in the service department was very helpful. He made sure I got the part I needed for repair quickly and had an appointment set up for me at my convenience. While waiting for repairs to be done he was very tentative and made sure I was comfortable while I waited.
Had appointment for just oil change and tire rotation, 1st service on new 2025 car, waited nearly 3 hours, have been getting service done with Nissan and have never waited this long. People who came in after me seemed to be getting done before me.Very Disappointing.
The five star review is for Jessica Bowie. She is fast, thorough, accomodating & pleasant to deal with. We only make appointments thru her. Some of the other employees were arrogant & rude when trying to make an appointment. She deserves a promotion

First oil change tire rotation, and top of liquids. Oil was changed but spilled all over the opening. They didn't rotate the tires, nor did they put air in the tires. Thats how I knew tires weren't rotated. They Didn't fill up windshield wiper fluid. Service manager said they would check the cameras to verify tires were not rotated, and they were not. Manager apologized took the car in and tires were rotated.
Issues were resolved when I returned, but the fact that the statement of work stated all work was performed and it wasn't is very concerning and creates a doubt.
The place was very clean. The coffee was delicious. The technicians are very friendly. Everybody is very friendly. They made me feel like family service was done in a timely manner and I was able to go about my day.
9/24/25 Inspections done WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS . Jessica is extremely knowledgeable and wonderful as always. I absolutely feel so safe with her if she is not there I will not go there But the place is awesome also. ????
8/4/25. Nissan has safe me more then 4 times I’m so grateful to Thruway Nissan. Specially Jessica my service advisor who is extremely rare these days. She cares and help us in the most knowledgeable and caring ways!!!!! I love Nissan thruway they are a business but they care about their customers No other Nissan is like them I’ve shop in queens, L.I and the Nissan at central ave They don’t care specially central ave Nissan they ripe you off!!! Customers buy cars at Thruway Nissan they care. Ask for Jessica to be your service advisor, lol Wait no she is ours kisses thruway Nissan/ Jessica

Let me tell you on Saturday I had a crisis' my car stop I called Jessica from service dept. She right away send Mike. I felt a relief he said it’s the battery. I got worry I really had no money. They told me don’t worry apply for credit with them. I got the credit Yaay I was happy Thank you Jessica and Mike. Nissan of thruway is the most wonderful, Honest place to get your car service

My Nissan advisor Jessica is excellent and very professional, she knows the Nissan cars in and out and her customer approach is of first quality.

She has my highest approval and I rated her 10 as the highest rate for a Nissan Advisor at this location. I highly recommend her to any other customer.
Staff are pleasant to deal with but service is lackluster. Car in for oil change and service and while they are quick to tell me my air filter needs replacement (even though I replaced 10,000 miles ago with all highway driving) they somehow forgot to check my washer fluid.
I’m a day person, and always request an early appointment. 9am was perfect. On my day off. In on time, but not in there all day. A hot cup of coffee and I perused the show room. Before I knew it my services were completed without draining my pockets. Thank you Thruway ❤️
The staff was very helpful and friendly Erik our salesman was very patient with us while we tried to decide on which altima we wanted . Angel the sales manager took excellent care of us , and gave us a great deal , everyone treated us like family even the finance manager was excellent id recommend them to everyone
